So unfortunately we have had a maintenance issue arise with our machine. I was under the impression this company also runs maintenance calls on their equipment. I have reached out to Kevin 3 times over the last month with no reply. I called his office and left a voicemail. I have sent a couple emails with videos attached to display the problem. I have called the general business line with no answer. It is very frustrating to have found a company that seemed so promising, professional and helpful only to feel once they had our money, they are in the wind. Now we are left with wondering how to get the equipment serviced which you can imagine is not an easy feat. I am disappointed in how this has turned out. read more

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased two remanufactured machines from Kevin last year in March. The machines were supposedly remanufactured and delivered at the end of April/early May. Both machines were stored in my garage as they were delivered because I learned we were going to move out of state the following month. When I arrived at my new home, the machines were unloaded and placed in a climate controlled garage along with my other gym equipment. I first used the machines in November. I immediately noticed one of the machines was not adjusting resistance based on my selection. Shortly thereafter, I started having trouble with the other machine. After reaching out to Kevin, he offered some suggestions for fixing the machine over email. His suggestions did not fix the problem. So, I hired a local company to come out and diagnose both machines. It turns out the main boards on each machine are bad....and several items that were supposed be new (remanufactured) are not. I reached out to Kevin and multiple occasions asking for a fair and equitable solution but my emails went unanswered. MY RECOMMENDATION TO ANYONE CONSIDERING A MACHINE FROM THIS BUSINESS IS TO PASS AND LOOK TO ANOTHER COMPANY. A company that will stand behind their products. read more

I found this company through Yelp and thank God I did! I had just went through a terrible setback in contracting Covid back in January and believing that the source was from a local gym, decided it was high time to purchase my own cardio equipment. My first choice was a company called Gym Pros out of Torrance. Their salesperson, Steve, was very charming and appeared personable over the phone. There were some red flags I should have paid attention to, but in my Covid-induced haze, I practically ignored my intuition. A few days later, I decided to check the Yelp reviews and trust me, all of them were bad. So bad that I requested to cancel immediately. They did it, but not without charging me a 23% cancellation fee!! If you're reading this, please stay away from Gym Pros at all costs! Fast forward to using Mastery Fitness. The owner, Kevin, is the best. He sympathized my ordeal and gave me a great deal on a Cybex Arc Trainer. I received it within a week. The unit is remastered, not refurbished, which shows a great amount of difference. It's pretty much brand new! The delivery was a bit challenging because I live on the second floor with narrow stairs. But the crew was able to lift the unit carefully and professionally. The service was great and everything was done expertly as it was supposed to. I'm so grateful for their service and I'm truly glad that I was able to locate them in Yelp. We purchased a Precor elliptical from Mastery Fitness, an authorized service provider for Precor through EBay. From beginning to end of purchase and follow up with an issue with the heart rate monitor they are professional as professional can be or is in this day and age. Gary Vogel especially was approachable , professional and knowledgeable and handled my issue quickly. His responses to my emails were quick and a solution was offered, part was sent out quickly with photos and instructions and I was given the option of getting a hold of him directly if I needed any further assistance which, I did not. The only hiccup was with the freight company and delivery and had nothing to do with Mastery Fitness. For the delivery I emailed another woman and she was able to put me in touch with the freight company. I would not hesitate to do business with this company again in the future. Michele L read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased a $2,400 Expresso exercise Bike from Kevin at Mastery Fitness. He was awesome to deal AT FIRST. Minutes after the bike arrived I sent pictures of how it was damaged and spoke with him. The bike is not operable. He commited to fixing it. He made it look like it was going to be fixed until the eBay dispute window closed and now has been completely unresponsive. he intentionally won't answer any call I make, won't call me back, and won't return my emails. I've opened up a dispute with PayPal the other day. I will follow-up with the photos of bike and emails from Kevin and then my follow-ups and his lack of response. it's just crazy that someone could try screwing over a customer like this after he committed to fixing it. After the gyms closed due to the pandemic, I was panicking because fitness is my life. Luckily, I got connected with Kevin who was able to get me a schwinn spin bike and a workout bench. The bike didn't have a console on it - which was SUPER important for me - so he ended up installing one. The bench looked brand new and works amazing. I have been considering a x-trainer for the home for a while. My strong preference was for my favorite gym model which is a Precor open stride but couldn't pull the trigger due to cost for new ones. Let me start with a warning: If you are buying fitness equipment, you had better do some research on the business you are buying from. If today is the last day of a sale, don't do it. If they won't put anything in writing but will only talk on the phone, don't do it. If it seems like the price is too good, it is. None of those things are true about Mastery Fitness. Remanufactured means they replace all of the parts in the machine, they strip it down to the frame and then rebuild it from the frame up. If you're buying used, make sure to ask what they actually do. I took my cover off when I got home, and it was clear everything was new, lubed, cleaned. No old zip ties, no electrical tape, everything was perfect. My stepmill looked absolutely flawless. I couldn't tell it from new. The price was in line with every other legitimate machine I found, but the quality was better...way better. They offer a warranty, they service their own equipment, they have been in business for years. Not sure, but it appears to be a family business...so if they aren't family, they get along like they are. I felt good with my purchase, I have a great machine at a great price, and I know if something does go wrong, they are just a phone call away. My Precor EFX 835 elliptical was installed today by Mastery Fitness. It is a very heavy machine and 4 technicians were on-time at my house to install. There were two staircases to be negotiated with sharp u-turns. From the beginning I was impressed with their thoroughness in protecting my floors, staircases, walls, etc. It seemed to me a difficult install, but they handled it with no problem at all. Purchased one of my favorite old fitness bikes, the life fitness CLSC Integrity. So stoked to get it, it looked bran new! After a few rides on it, there was some clicking in the bearings. They sent one of their techs, Cal, out to take take a look, he pretty much rebuilt the shaft and bearings while I watched. Cal was super nice, extremely knowledgeable on the mechanics of the bike, and now the bike rides perfect! It's so refreshing to work with good people that provide a great remanufactured product.
