Food is decent. The pizza is not my style as it's very thick, like a French bread. The other menu items like the burgers and pork nuggets are good. If you get stuff to go it will probably be soggy. read more

Whenever I went to La Mesa I tried to swing by at this place, I really love their burger, thats all I ordered all the time.

Went for a late lunch on a Monday. Great little place right off the 125/94...clean, friendly staff, and a nice selection of craft brews. The smash burger and chicken bacon ranch sandwich were both awesome, and a great deal as part of the lunch combo special! We will definitely be back!! read more

Amazing service from everyone! Amazing food, i enjoy the music they had going as well!!! We ordered the double smash burger ( BEST BURGER IN SAN DIEGO) and turkey pot pie!! We got both items togo because we wanted to eat it for lunch and absolutely the best the next day!! We went on super bowl sunday and the bartender and gentleman with glasses were superb with their customer service and recommendations. We also the " Thats my Boy" pizza which was so good! This place is fucking amazing, such a great neighborhood place to come with some friends or on a date, they have tons of beers and if there is a game on they have a bunch of tvs, but the main reason is for their insane food. As a vegetarian, I had to try all of their options and thought all were delicious! I think the veggie smash burger is my new favorite vegetarian burger option around town. Customer service was GREAT! We ordered the crispy wings (great), sausage (okay) and the Meet Meat Pizza (didn't get to try). The loss of 2 stars is because our pizza was brought to the customer sitting next to us at the bar. The pizza sat with the other customer for about 10 mins, while she coughed hysterically. Once the waiter realized it wasn't her pizza, he took the pizza back to the cook window. The cook pushed the pizza back to the waiter to give to us. They had the audacity to try to give us this pizza as oppose to making a new pizza. Completely unsanitary and inappropriate. Needless to say we got our bill and left read more

OH MY GOD. We ordered: smash burgers, fries with harissa aioli and two slices of pizza not pictured because we were stuffing our faces (sausage/peppers & pesto burrata). Everything was AMAZING. The Pork Nugs and sausage platter were great. The sauerkraut is homemade and wasn't really my jam but didn't hate it. Loved the brat and polish sausage. Pork Nugs were AMAZING. Also had fries and athletic brewing IPA (non-alcoholic) which they have on tap. Fries were your standard McDonald's style but crispy and fresh. The Athletic IPA was all the goodness of an IPA without the alcohol! Highly recommend it for those that don't drink alcohol, I quit drinking awhile ago and couldn't tell the difference (except no buzz obviously). Saw some complaints on here about the service. I had absolutely zero complaints and only a good experience. Either the reviewers aren't great people, the employees mentioned weren't there, or everyone was having an off day. We went today for happy hour and everything was great! The bartender recommended a delicious draft beer for my husband while I ordered one of everything on the happy hour. We then added on a slice of pizza to go and a cookie/ice cream while we waited. Absolutely delicious. The girl at the register was so sweet and gave great service.
