Vanilla Bean Cold Foam

Server was kind and made the drinks fast but not worth the price. The drink lacked flavor and overall was not tasty. Dont think i will be back.

Overpriced hella. Grainy matcha. The girl making the matcha wasn't putting in effort to reduce chunks in the matcha. Like milk and sand.

Was in the city for only a day and walked by this spot and being a matcha lover, had to stop by. Didn't grab a drink, but did get some treats. Matcha Donut (I am far from a donut guy but this was unreal) Blueberry Yuzu Poppyseed Muffin (tried my sister's - great)

- Stopped by because I've seen so many locations pop up recently - I got the Earth glow and didn't really like it because of the oat milk - The matcha was ok - I wasn't aware that they *only* use plant-based milk - There were a couple of tables outside and a high top inside - The highlight was running into Addison Rae and her friends

Service: 4.1/5 Food: 3.3/5 Price: $$$ ($10-15) For a small, cute shop, they have a surprisingly large menu of matcha drinks + a decent assortment of pastries in a display case. Still pretty busy on a late weekday morning. The drink does not come hot--it comes out warm-ish. Convenient for chugging your matcha, but not ideal for a sipper like me. Also, there's so much empty space in the cup?? What I Ordered: - Autumn Spice Latte (hot): tastes like fall + indeed very pumpkin-y, which is... not for me

The spot is small with about 3 seats. The quality of the matcha was really great. The cashier explained that the sizing doesn't dictate the amount of caffeine but actually the amount of milk. I went with a smaller size since I don't care for much milk. The drink was good but I think you can find something comparable for cheaper elsewhere.

Sooooo delicious takeout only or grab one of the few seats outside. The soft serve is to die for - I like the matcha - tried a little of another which was also terrific.

Frozen Matcha

This particular Matchaful location is in Nolita/Lower Manhattan in New York City. I made an online order and my boyfriend walked over to get it for me. I ordered the Frozen Matcha with their house made oat milk. My total ended up being $13.16, which is quite expensive. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. It was very oat flavored heavy. The oat milk overpowered the matcha flavor. I wouldn't mind coming back and trying their other matcha drinks or soft serve, but I wouldn't get the Frozen Matcha again.

Very strong matcha flavor! The matcha is definitely high quality here. I did find the Taro flavor a bit overpowering, but I would come back again. The Place is very cute, service was great, and matcha was delicious.

I like this place. It's definitely busy. It's pricey. I would say it's not a place to hang out is come and go wanted a place to chill, but I gotta give him five cause it's a great place. Definitely worth going pricey

The matcha drinks are overpriced, but this is hands down the best soft serve match ice cream I ever had.

Matcha Au Lait.

I was craving a little dessert after having lunch nearby. I decided to get the matcha soft-serve, but it was unfortunately out. Instead, I ended up getting the Matcha Au Lait ($5.75) with their house oat milk. I may have messed up opting out of sweetener though. The drink was just decent, nothing all too special really.

The vegan matcha soft serve is so worth the trip to this spot. While they're probably better known for the warm/cold match drinks this sweet treat made it a soft serve go to for me. Not only is it beautiful with some chocolate nibs on top but the flavor was phenomenal. It had a decent staying power before it melted outside, as well, which is an added bonus.

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

Amazing Creme (Croux) Puffs!!!…read more I got the green tea, black sesame, & earl grey. The cream filling is very generous and the pastry isn't too thick. Loved the outside flavoring. Each one was perfectly made and absolutely delicious. Would come back if ever in New York to try everything else! I still think of these cream puffs often!

Very cute treats with Asian flavors! I love the dedication to the alpaca and cute character theme…read moreacross all the pastries, from the macarons to the jar on the panna cottas. We had the raspberry tart and the milk cloud cake. Price points were very high, even for midtown pastries. I enjoyed the milk cloud cake because of the black tea infused cream really came through. The other bits in it were not as impressive--the small chocolate bits were dry and this viscous layer in it (tapioca?) lacked taste. The raspberry tart was very adorable with two macarons. The tart shell was a bit dry and crumbly, but if you like raspberry the flavor does come through in the filling. The staff weren't warm in any way, but we're in midtown which tends to be hectic, and we were there at the end of the day so it's not a dealbreaker or anything really egregious. The place isn't very spacious for seating, so unless you're coming at a time that isn't busy, you might not get a seat/I'd plan around getting your sweets to go. That was no problem for me this time around, though. Overall this place is cute, and if you're looking for an Asian-inspired treat in midtown before a broadway show (Wicked is nearby) this could be an option for you. I just wouldn't expect it to particularly standout in terms of price and quality.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
