Horrible Scammers! We paid them to fix the sprinklers that were broken and to keep the grass green, a few weeks later, more sprinklers were broken, we had a valve leak, and one of the sprinklers was a geyser 10 feet high. This was after charging us $300. We asked for them to fix the leak in the front yard and they said it would be an extra $300-$500. Then, the grass started completely dying under their care. I sent them photos and they told me I would have to pay an extra $500 to fix. I honestly believe they break things to charge you extra to fix them. They said it was because I wasn't watering enough. I was paying over $300 a month in monthly water with most of it going to irrigation. Which was fine, but they never communicated I needed to water more. They have my cell number and could've communicated anytime, but waited until I asked about how dry it was to then request more money. I would stay very clear of this company. read more

We needed new mulch in our front and backyard. I sent my initial inquiry to a few companies on Yelp with pictures of the areas that needed a freshening up, and he is the only company that gave us a price online. They worked quick and clean and even had to go back for more mulch. I thought the price was very fair considering that they had to make two mulch trips and had 3 people working. read more

Good: They charge reasonable price and do not create drama to boost their business. They replaced irrigation valves for me two days ago and no leakage has been noticed. They are family owned business which all members working together. Bad: They do rough work. They are not responsible for the electrical wire on the irrigation valve. After they replaced new valves and half of them can work properly. Another half wire not connected caused additional valves not working. I hired company called Electrical Insight at beginning for diagnostic all electrical wire ensure there is power, but after their work, those addintional valves stop working. They said they will backup their work. However, once I pay the money, they are no longer reachable. No customer care afterward. read more

I really wanted to give a higher review but this is a fair. I needed trimming back an overgrown yard (see pics), have some trash removed and have all grass and weeds treated so they don't grow back again. The crew got to work but did not finish the job. Apparently since I was out of town, Mateo didn't think he was going to get paid so the crew left trash at the property and refused to go back since it was a "waste of gas." Without edging, throwing away all sideyard trash and effectively killing the grass, he left the job incomplete. I paid him for the work he did complete. read more

Mr Diego and his coworkers showed up on time to handle the work previously promised. Work promised: 3 palm tree removal with the STUMPS At the beginning of the project, they stated that it would take 5 hours to complete. TWO (2) hours later, received a text message stating that they were complete. Upon inspection, noted that they did not delieve the stump as promised. They stump were still at the ground level. After they were called out, they attempted to shave off some. But it was a failure. I am looking to lay gravel on the assigned areas in the future, HOWEVER, I will have to source out extra money to have those stumps removed which was not done in the beginning as promised. This is to review indicate the over job satisfaction based on the deliveries. Based on the company promised: - 3 Trees Cut Down (Checked) - 3 Tree Stumps removal (NOT PERFORMED) - Customer Interaction: good. - Total time Spent at work site: 3 hrs 15 minutes. Therefore, 3 out of 5 Stars. Would I recommend? - Unfortunately, NO due to failure to remove the Stumps as promised. And now I have to hire someone else to remove the stumps. read more

This was by far the worst experience I have had using a small "business". First the person you're talking to I guess is the son of the owner. He asked me to send him a picture of what needed to be done. I sent him a picture of the tree and he gave me price of $400 which I agreed to. The next day as we are communicating before the agreed upon time of him coming over he decides to cancel my appointment and go to another job. I told him I'm not canceling, I'm just communicating that I need to leave once you get here and I'll be back. So now because of him prematurely acting on what he thought I said he now arrives 30 minutes later than scheduled. Once they arrived to my house he tries to double the price and say it looks smaller in the picture. In contrast you can see my house in the background so you can see how big the tree is and anyone who is in the tree business should be able to determine that. After negotiating through his translating son and telling him I'm not going to pay double especially after trying to have additional work done that would be in the thousands he decides to lower the price slightly. One they start setting up they are parked in the street, which is not a parking spot, it's the street a random car comes by a slightly clips his truck. Now I can understand being a little upset but that is what insurance is for. Now he tells me that he has to go take of insurance stuff and he will be back and will call me. I told him that you have a job to do and you committed to do it, the storm is supposed to be here tomorrow. He then said he will call me when he is on his way back later that day. So after packing up their equipment they left branches they already cut just laying on my lawn and left. I waited two hours before reaching out to them to see when they were coming back and he chose not to respond. So not only did they leave me stranded because I was trying to get my tree cut before the hurricane, the few pieces they did cut they just left. I don't not recommend this company and by far the worst experience I have ever had!!! read more

I have now hired Mateo for 2 projects (the second project was completed today). Mateo came to trim 40' of hedges, the tops of which were approximately 20-25' high. I was hesitant to hire Mateo for this job, because his quote was significantly lower than the other landscapers that came to see the yard (and I worried his price was lower because it would not be quality work). Mateo and his crew did a great job, so we hired them to clear our front yard and lay sod. Mateo completed this project, and surprised us by including a nice sprinkler system. I will now be hiring Mateo to build a fence around the sod/yard. Some of the poor reviews for Mateo's service state that he did not show up. Those reviews seem unfair, as there could have been a miscommunication, etc. Those that did work with Mateo all seem to be happy with his work, esp related to sod and trimming. I will continue working with Mateo/referring him to friends. He's a nice guy, has been very reliable/punctual, and does quality work at a very competitive price. read more

We had Mateo Diego come out to put about 1000 sq feet of sod in our backyard. Before the sod could be laid, the crew broke up all the dirt with picks, removed all the roots and old grass and brought in top soil. They did a great job on all of that. Then they laid the sod carefully and very well. After install of the sod, the crew did a very thorough job of cleaning up. They even added a couple of things, like particularly nice new dirt around our birds of paradise and replanting some plants that would have been covered by the sod. Mateo Diego was on time, easy to communicate with and did excellent work at a fair price. I give the crew a very high recommendation. I had one tall palm tree that I needed cut down and he had the best quote with stump grinding. He was about 90 mins late with no call. I know you get hung up on other jobs but a 5 second text should be a courtesy that you don't even have to think about. My neighbor called me to say that he was done but there was a huge stump left behind. I called him to remind him that we agreed to the grinding. He kind of did it as the pictures show but not really. A bunch of extra wood and sawdust was left behind with most of it being chucked under the stairs. I know it was the end of the day and his crew wanted to go home but this was shoddy work at best. A text to follow up was never answered to make things right. Summary: he cut down the tree at a good price but the details leave a lot to be desired. read more

I can't say enough great things about Mateo, Diego and team! They were able to fit us in last minute when no one else would. Their pricing was phenomenal. Completely unbeatable! I got three other quotes that were nearly double what they offered. First they fixed my existing sprinkler system (which was broken when we bought the house), but the sprinkler system didn't get enough water pressure from the house. (Not their fault, it was the fault of the previous owner/installer of the system). Discovering this issue, they quickly came up with a plan to completely overhaul our sprinkler system and gave us something that works perfectly, is much nicer than the original system, and has even more sprinkler heads!
