I had the best experience with Manuel! I needed to redo our backyard - which was overgrown for over a decade. There was a lot of weeds and overgrown trees, which we wanted to replace with concrete. I had various jobs for him over a two week period. Manuel was great from start to finish. He came quickly for our first estimate for landscaping, and the value was great. His pricing was fair. Him and his crew worked quickly to get the landscaping work done in our backyard - clearing weeds, removing a large guava tree and smaller fruit tree, trimming trees, and cutting ice plants. I was so happy with their work I asked if they could clean our palm trees. The price again was great and they did it in a few hours. After that, I worked with him to get concrete laid in our backyard. The price for concrete was very reasonable. Him and his crew worked efficiently but with quality to get the concrete in our backyard. The whole concrete process took 3 days and I couldn't be happier with the final product. I also had some side projects they completed during their time here - removing a metal shed and replacing a patio cover. Manuel was always great communicating with me and his work was excellent. I don't usually write reviews and Manuel never asked me to, but I'm so happy with his team's work that I had to share. We had just moved into a home with an overgrown backyard. Most of the plants were dead, and we wanted everything cleared out so we could start fresh with the few that were still healthy. We also needed some irrigation lines moved and hidden, which required relocating a very old lemon tree. We got quotes from three companies on Yelp. Had a small area of steep hillside partially slide in the big rains this winter, and I wanted to see what options there were to shore things up. My thoughts were the treated 6x6 lumber and build into a tiering series of walls and re-landscape it. Manuel came out quickly after calling to review and provide a bid. We talked about options and he was very clear in communication. His price seemed reasonable ( while still more than you would like but what else is new these days)... and his approach was similar to others who were on the more efficient side and way less than some companies that wanted a massive amount of money to over build the hell out of it . Again this was not a hillside holding anything up or that if it came down would do anything other than make a mess in my walkway. So I opted for the more sane/reasonable approach . And while a small area, this was still a difficult slope to work on because it was like an 80 degree angle! (see picture) . Sprinkler pipes also needed to be cut and redone and they did a good job on that and checked the sprinklers and even painted the pipes with spray paint I got them. His 3 workers took a week to do the job. One of the few jobs I have had around my home that went pretty much perfect. good clean up each day when they left. The construction of the short tiered walls was done right with rebar and cemented supported posts and even horizontal timbers going into the hill. I dont think this will be going anywhere... knock on wood. It actually looks nicer/better than before which was just a steep slope with ice plant on it. He brought in a lot more new plants than originally planned to replant the hillside, and didnt charge extra. Even got a big tarp and covered it for this weekends rain for extra protection, then is coming back on monday to remove the tarp. I would recommend Manuel for landscaping work and things requiring construction for sure. read more

The work and service provided by Manuel and his team is beyond disappointing. The team had no consideration for my things and ruined a brand new outdoor play house with their weed whacker. To make matters worse, this wasn't the first time that they damaged my property. His team also cut through my Halloween decorations. I gave him and his team multiple opportunities to improve their work but it didn't work. The bottom line is that they do not do yard maintenance well. The weeds grew out of control and his team never properly pulled them when they started. They didn't prune my fruit trees in time to actually have a harvest this year; and they left the gate open multiple times where my dogs could get out. I never hired Manuel for large projects and perhaps his team is good at that but for bi-weekly yard maintenance I would not recommend this company. To add further insult to the situation... when I reached out to Manuel about the damage he apologized and never came back. Clearly he didn't have enough work ethic to try to fix the situation. read more

When we found Manuel on Yelp, it looked like his account with client reviews had just started with only a handful of reviews documented. However, judging from the pictures on his account, his workmanship looked outstanding so we decided to include him in the mix of vendors to evaluate! I called and spoke to Manuel and he even offered me the chance to chat with a former client his team had recently serviced. The former client had nothing but GREAT things to say about Manuel and his team and their job was even more detailed/complex than ours! After chatting at length with the former client, it just confirmed for me that Manuel and his team were the right contractors for us and I am SO ESTATIC we picked them!!! We had our rental property back yard completely demo'd of all deteriorating stamped concrete, an old and poorly constructed retaining wall along with a very cheap artificial turf which was all poorly done by the past owners.
