He told me to wait at least a year after my surgery and if after that we were not having any luck to come back. A year passed and I scheduled another appointment, he was very clear about what the plan he wanted to do to help get me pregnant was, and what he was comfortable prescribing and recommending. Unfortunately I had a complication from the medication he prescribed and had to have surgery, but the entire process, surgery included he was so kind, gentle and reassuring. He never overstepped or tried a medication or plan that was outside of his personal comfort. Even though I have to see a specialist now, Dr. Fountain truly was the best GYN to help us along our journey to start a family and I'm very thankful for his entire office. Everyone is always so helpful and kind, and even when I got bad news they were so gentle with their words and their efforts to make sure I had everything I needed. Cannot recommend them enough.

One of the receptionists, Stephanie, is such a rude and unprofessional. With a lobby full of…read morepatients, she had no qualms in stating loudly that "I can't talk to those people who don't speak English " in such a demeaning and dismissive fashion. The other receptionist said "Okay.. should I talk to them?" I'm not even a client (was assisting my sister) but I was even so appalled that I called the office and complained. How dare a member of staff verbally dismiss clients who don't speak English well, if if it isn't these clients who are funded her paycheck in some way (whether it be private pay, Medicaid, employer insurance). The audacity.. Luckily I'm a lawyer and recorded the statements (it happened twice). They will be hearing from us.

Top notch here. Totally opposite of the last gyn and only gyn besides this rating. Staff is super…read moreprofessional on phone, in person, and the Dr. William Oruro is super nice. They don't collect very much information at all but they do want to get your prescriptions you are on and check your insurance card. They didn't even check my ID or ask for my phone number so if you want them to know something they haven't asked you, you have to speak up and verify they understood what you said. Trust me on that. Last Gyn wouldn't take my new medical insurance and this gyn does. I accidentally hit unsure if you have to make a medical appointments. You do have to make an appointment here. They take your weight and blood sugar here. I did like not having to not fill out a new patient packet which is a pain in the butt but they need to ask more info.

Don't judge a book by its cover because you may miss out on a great experience with a caring person. She was very pleasant and she made feel.extremely comfortable. I'd highly recommend her to anyone. My only issue with the visit ((which wasn't really an issue)) was the wait time. I waited about 30min to be seen and another 15min once I was in the back. In addition to that, the front desk receptionist are kinda unprofessional. They weren't rude. Just a little ratchet which is unacceptable in a drs office. Today, is my second visit. I'm currently waiting. Its 953am and my appointment was set for 9am. I've given my urine sample and had my blood taken; however, I've yet to see Dr Fung. I'm here for issues with my fertility. Today I'm scheduled to do the 21 day ovulation blood work. Puzzles me as to why when I got back here the nurse tried to give me a depo shoot. If I'm trying to conceive, why the hell would I need a birth control shoot. She didn't even ask. She just prepared herself to do it. I asked what she was doing because, I'm familiar with the way blood work is done so, I knew this wasn't right. Thank God I knew because, had I not been knowledgeable, she would've given me birth control. Again, I recommend Dr. Fung ... Stand clear of the Asian nurse though.

What's pushed me over the edge is that I'm going through fertility treatments right now and am supposed to go in during my cycle. If I can't go in at the ONE appt they have on this day, I miss an entire month of treatment. THIS IS NOT OK - they said they would help me get pregnant and now they don't have time? If they truly didn't want to help, they should have referred me elsewhere...now I'm loosing a month of treatment as if this wasn't emotional enough. Find a place that cares.

I just want to say that I feel Dr. Arona as a person is sweet and most of her staff is also…read more Unfortunately as a doctor I no longer agree. I was a patient of Dr. Arona for a short time but after moving to NC and being treated by my new Physician and 2 weeks later endocrinologist because of abnormal TSH levels, I realized one of the disorders I have could have been diagnosed with Arona. I last came in in Dec. I'm mid 20s and up until a year and a half ago was in perfect health. Within a year I gained 50 lbs, diagnosed with depression and developed pain, fatigue and irregular cycles. When I went in with Arona after having already moved to NC and being emotionally overwhelmed, I was giving a transvaginal ultrasound, blood pressure taken and a prick on the finger to test for iron levels. When she came in to see me she did make it clear I had clots on one ovvary, put the depression and stress on my move despite the irregular cycles starting 6 months prior and made me feel like once I finished taking the 10 day medicinal regimen and lost some weight I'd be fine. It was lazy work for a busy day because she refused to diagnosed me with PCOS solely because of my history of regular cycles and never even asked me about other PCOS symptoms that I had and had she drawn blood to confirm both of our gut feelings, she would have discovered my androgen and TSH levels were sky high and that I do in fact have PCOS as well as Hypothyroidism Which I discoverd this week, 2 months after seeing Arona. I think what disturbs me most despite all of that, is that instead of taking constructive criticism for your practice and making adjustments, honest reviews from Google, health grades and zocdoc mysteriously disappear or somehow is not factored into the average rating which I know because I've monitored them, and this gives an appearance of being a 4.5/5 star gyno when in reality yelp is the only one that's accurate because their policy doesn't permit rating adjustments. LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS. No matter how young or old even if an illness doesn't fit the cookie cutter symptoms because humans don't have cookie cutter bodies. Just because I had clots and no abnormal cyst was not a reason not to diagnose me or at least run a blood test because I do have PCOS and fortunatley becuase I do love myself enough to be my own advocate, have since been given the proper diagnoses.
