Would highly recommend this location. My daughter who is in 4th grade is struggling with math and was behind with just the basics. This place worked very hard to get my daughter to master the lessons she was behind on. Very pleased with the outcome and will keep her enrolled here even for the summer. Probably like many out there, my kids have had a difficult time staying on top of their academics during the pandemic. I have a daughter going into 10th grade next year and another going into 7th. Although the schools have done the best that they could during this Covid craziness...I don't think it will surprise any parent to learn that in general, there is a lot of academic ground for kids to make up. And that's where Mathnasium comes in! :) The manager Chase (Rhodes Ranch location) and all the amazing people who work for Mathnasium do a great job of helping today's kids meet and exceed the scholastic challenges in math. Whether it's learning new skills, honing old ones, or having help with homework - they've got you covered! My younger daughter started at Mathnasium in the middle of the first semester last year because she felt she was struggling to learn math online with her class. After a couple of months, my daughter became much more comfortable and confident with math. Enter the high schooler... She was determined to learn math on her own through the online curriculum last year and she tried mightily to understand it, but to no avail. After enrolling her as well, my high schooler has become a lot more comfortable in her ability to do math - including honing skills that she should have mastered in middle school but hadn't. She is beginning to enjoy doing math like she did years ago, because her confidence has grown so much! Mathnasium has also saved my daughter's best friends (one of which who failed every since class in her first semester of high school with distance learning) and helped pull her back up again. This place exceeded my expectations and did a great job teaching my son math for his college placement exam. CCSD failed my son completely and his math skills were very bad going into 12th grade. I took my sixteen year old here and she's having trouble doing multilevel Calculus because she wants to accelerate her skills in all areas but math is my daughter's main focal point. My husband and I were thrilled after reading so many great reviews regarding manager, Chase Watson, and is in fact one of the best tutors I have ever been given the blessing of being in the presence of. Mathnasium at Rhodes Ranch has been an important part of our life throughout our daughter's high school math classes. Her success has been a direct result of a lot of hard work between her and all of the tutors. Some of the things I really liked: skilled tutors and a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone has been so nice - Alex, Laurie, Laura and several of the tutors she worked with on a regular basis. I like the open hours and convenient location. I have a 5th grade daughter that struggles with math. Before enrolling in Mathnasium of Rhodes Ranch, we would spend our evenings in a stressful state trying to work through homework she didn't understand. Her math grade at the time of enrollment was a D. She was quickly losing confidence in the subject and saying that she hated math. We needed help! We were so lucky to find Alex and the amazing staff at M of RR! The system is so supportive, with flexible scheduling and drop-in sessions, it was perfect for our busy family. My favorite part is that the teachers help her complete her homework too! (No more stressful nights!) I am a student at UNLV and have been going to Mathnasium for a little over two months now. Lori and Alex are absolutely amazing and have worked around my schedule so that I could fit in my tutoring into my busy scheduled. They always showed support and interest in how I was progressing. Alexis was my tutor for the two months and cannot explain how much she helped me in these past two months. She broke everything down for me and would use visuals since I am a visual learner. If I did not understand something she would find a different way to explain or show how to approach the problems. Mathnasium at Rhodes Ranch is a wonderful center. Our son struggled to maintain his grades in Algebra II. He was frustrated and would spend hours studying just to get an average grade. My son did not learn the math skills he should have learned in middle school. He was not prepared when he went to high school. Before he started at Mathnasium in Rhodes Ranch last school year, he had failed his first math test. After going to Mathnasium for one week, he got a B on the next test and went from an F to a C in the class. In one week! Three test later, he got 100% on a test and had a B in his Geometry class. My son had classmates going to him for help with their math. From struggling to tutoring after a month at Mathnasium! It was awesome! The tutors teach in a way YOUR child will understand. His confidence skyrocketed, and he begin doing even better in other subjects, also. We think Mathnasium is great and worth every dollar paid. AWESOME team at Mathnasium - Summerlin & Rhodes Ranch. My daughter is starting middle school, and has been going to Mathnasium since November 2016. We started at Summerlin, then recently moved, and are now closer to Rhodes Ranch (same owners). She had A's in Math throughout 5th grade, and even won a $100 cash reward in their drawing for students scoring 90 or higher on school math tests. Students also earn stamp cards to turn in for rewards. The rewards are really cool stuff and not cheap junk. Stamp cards can be saved for bigger rewards, however my kid uses every card on food. Anyway, the instructors take a genuine interest in her. They guide her to solve problems in ways that she understands. They help with homework. This makes life easier because teaching math at home was no fun, and definitely not easy, as my patience is limited. The instructors are patient; they encourage and teach with kindness. The owners and directors are courteous, very responsive, and accommodating. Huge THANKS -- you guys are AWESOME at what you do! read more

I realize this place is geared toward younger children, but if you are genuinely struggling, no matter what grade or age you are, this is such a beneficial place to go. I'm a student at UNLV and I was in dire need of a calculus tutor and after just one session with their private calc tutor, all of my questions were answered and I immediately felt more confident. He took the time to explain everything to me and when it took me a couple times to understand and concept he didn't get frustrated and instead tried a different way of explaining. I would also love to commend Alex Estrella for outstanding customer service-I've never met someone so happy, enthusiastic, helpful, and kind in the Las Vegas valley. Although I was only able to complete one session, I would give this place 10 stars if possible. That being said, if their tutors could help me understand calculus, I'm more than confident they could help your child understand any grade level of math, or you yourself if you were looking to seek help with higher level math. Although a bit pricey at about $75 for a private session, I think every penny is worth it. read more
