This is the best place to do test prep and college consulting in Las Vegas, hands down. I did Elite's SAT boot camp WAY BACK in the day and a few years ago my younger sister did too. I improved my score by 200 points after taking the boot camp and she improved by 110. Both of us got into Johns Hopkins (I ended up choosing UCLA) but I know that getting my SAT score up had a huge part in that. But just be warned, these guys are SERIOUS. Elite has DOMINATED the test prep scene in California for the better part of three decades and their summer boot camp is no joke. It runs 8 weeks long, 5 days a week. (Yes, you read that right.) But the results speak for themselves. What I didn't know at the time (and have since come to realize) is how underrated Elite is for its college consulting. The director here, Jay Park, has helped hundreds of students get into TOP schools (like, make your asian momma proud type schools). But what I love most about him is how much time he takes to really get to know his students. You can tell it's not just about running a business for him--he really wants to help students make the best decisions so that they can have the best options possible. I've talked to him for hours without him charging a dime, all because I was already a part of the Elite family. as a parents to Trinity, Our first exposure to Elite was through a postcard through mail when our daughter was at her 2nd year in high school (2020). As an immigrant family and without any college application experiences, we made appointment to meet with Mr. Jay. The decision was easily made after the first 10 min of the conversation - "this is the right place". Mr. Jay carefully explained to us the pros and cons of the current high school education could offer, what type of students the top universities were seeking and what Elite can offer to help our daughter to be accepted by the top universities. He was patient, knowledgeful but mostly importantly, he cared about students. He customized the class schedule for individual student to better improve the overall grades and strategically advise how to prepare the application to be noticed by the top universities.
