I am very impressed with Mathnasium. The instructors are very friendly and keep my son engaged somehow despite him typically drifting off in other environments. My son initially didn't want to keep going after a month, but now he is happy to go and has been attending for 3 months. He always leaves with a big smile on his face. Wow- well, I have a 7.5 yr old who Begs me to sign him up for MathnAsium and for 2 hour chunks at a time! Granted, he is working towards getting the Nintendo Switch, but hey- their incentive structure works! My son showed a very special talent for math when he was 6 years old and I had no idea what to do with it: Get a private tutor? So pricy. Send him to Kumon? So joyless and rote. I certainly have no talent in math and wasn't going to be of any help. Finding MathnAsium was the perfect solution- it's filled with other kids, has a fun table of toys to work towards getting a prize, and seems to have kind/fun tutors to help guide my son along his journey to success. It will be interesting to see how MathnAsium works for my two younger children someday, but so far- thumbs up all around for our experience! read more

Our daughter has been going to Mathnasium (4S Ranch) since July 2023. Not only have my husband and I seen incredible progress, but her confidence has increased substantially. Every few months we will receive a copy of her assessments. The assessments indicate the percentage of her overall improvement, provides a breakdown of what concepts have been mastered and what is still being worked on to achieve 100%. These reports have been so helpful for us to track our daughter's progress. The online booking system works great! You can book your sessions one at a time or you can book multiple sessions in advance. It's simple and quick. We spent a school year at Kumon and while it is half the price we also experienced no results. Also at Kumon you do work with very little help. At mathnasium they help the kids along with encouraging them and rewarding them. In 5 months my daughter who has struggled for 2 years caught up on 2 years math and went from not passing 6th grade math to getting an A- It was worth every penny! read more
