It's worth calling out clearly that this is not the same school or leadership. The school closed and reopened under completely new ownership and administration. Our experience reflects the current team, not what's described in those older reviews. We have two kids enrolled. One started just after turning 2 and is now 3.5, and the other started just before 5 and is now 5.5. Both of them genuinely love going to school. There are plenty of days where pickup turns into a negotiation because they don't want to leave. The teachers are engaged and do a good job tailoring learning to each kid. Our older child is on track to be very well prepared for kindergarten, and our younger one is developing quickly across the board. From a safety and communication standpoint, we've had 0 concerns. Staff is attentive, administration is responsive, and we've never had any issues with how the school is run day to day. The community is also a plus. Good group of kids, normal and engaged parents, and an overall positive environment. Bottom line, if you're reading older reviews, just make sure you understand they reflect a different version of this school. Based on our experience with the current team, we would absolutely recommend it.

Great space, active and attentive teachers, small teacher ratios, and my kids are getting a great social and academic experience. I have no safety concerns with their protocols and have had a wonderful preschool and Montessori educational experience with this school!

We observed children enjoying themselves and interacting playfully with teachers and other children. The center was clean and displayed artwork from many of the children. It was clear to me that this was a great place to bring our child. We've been very happy with our decision to work with Little Learner. Its been several weeks now and we have ZERO complaints. I'm glad that poor behavior is not tolerated and good behavior is rewarded. Positive reinforcement is a good thing. It seems to me that other reviews may be a little one-sided.

I am wildly enthusiastic about the Academy of Dance in the Spokane Valley. This is an authentic…read moredance studio with serious instructors, disciplined dancers and a healthy rapport amongst all dancers, parents, instructors and owner. The instructors are attentive to proper training and development to prevent injuries. In the 6+ years that I have been associated with this studio I have not seen any eating disorders or unhealthy practices. The performances are FULL productions at the beautiful Martin Woldston Fox theater. The Academy of Dance is also the home of the non-profit Spokane Youth Ballet. Dancers from the entire area are welcome to audition for the productions and performances at the FOX Theater. These productions are original choreography and never disappoint.

They didn't smile and were speaking very monotone. To start off I have never known that kids could be dripped off at daycare and not cry when they go. My 2 year old granddaughter has never cried and willingly goes in on her own. I love getting photos or videos during the day through the app as well. Such a neat feature! They show what things they are working on so I can continue to ask and with her at home. They check the kids in at the door taking temperature and wearing a mask to keep things as safe as possible. All the teachers and leaders there seem happy and are so loving to the kids. You can tell they actually love kids and enjoy being there! No wonder my granddaughter loves to go. I love to go and interact with them as well! We had issues with West Valley School District and felt our only choice was private school or homeschooling. I am so glad we chose to try VCS. It has been an exceptional experience for us these past 3 years. Moving into Jr High, we see no reason to expect anything different. I'm not saying they are the only good school or that it will be the right fit for your circumstances. But, if you are researching options, they are definitely worth a look.
