Due to my anxiety about dentistry and trust in medical professionals, I was taken advantage of for years at this office. This dentist will scrutinize your insurance and then convince you to have unnecessary procedures so that he can secure as much of your insurance money as possible. For example-he convinced us to redo an already existing crown that had no issues simply because it was old. I questioned him about it, and he admitted that it was not medically necessary. That was the last time my husband and I ever had anything to do with this office. Additionally, his skills are outdated and his equipment is antiquated. His skill level was discovered by my new dentist that was mortified at the quality of his work that she saw when she examined both my husband and my teeth. We have since found a competent dentist, and are astonished at the difference an actual modern, smart, kind dentist is actually like. It is entirely my fault that this happened to me and my husband. I should have been more diligent, less trusting, and more questioning. I'm glad I finally got wind of what was going on and urge anyone contemplating getting work done here to please seek other dentists. There are many choices and you only have so many teeth. It is clear that this dentist does not care about his patients and their dental health. He cares about how to use each patient as a commodity which I feel is unethical and fraudulent.

My grandmother on the other hand hates dentists but would still go to Dr. Roberts. She was NOT an easy patient but Dr. Roberts treated her with kindness and respect. His staff would spend extra time getting her teeth cleaned just right since she would forget to brush and floss regularly. We would recommend Dr. Roberts and his staff to anyone.

From the first time I called to make my appointment for a cleaning the receptionist was so polite in answering all my questions about insurance, etc. The hygienists here are all so nice and gentle. I am a big baby and as many people are very nervous about going to see the dentist for even a cleaning. But I was quickly put to rest and felt very confident I was getting top notch advice from Dr. Tessier and care from his staff. When I switched to this office I had a list of extensive dental issues I needed to address. He was very helpful in recommending specialists for me to see, and coordinating repairs through them and also his office. I appreciated his conservative approach to what needed to be done. In between her and her assistant, you'll get great service at great rates (we were able to pay for all our fillings out of pocket). Nothing fancy about the location, its a small office sporting little more than the necessary machinery. I imagine a lot of people pass this place up because there's no fountain in the reception room or any ivory statues of Herculean men with heroic jaws to inspire confidence in the institution, but if you know what you want you can get it here. It'll be done well and it'll be done much cheaper than most places, and she wont try to scare you into buying services you don't need (something i've seen a lot of dentists do). I don't have dental insurance, and was looking for a general dentist who does a good job who does not charge an arm and leg... and I found one! For $50 you get quality teeth cleaning... not like the ones I've been to in the past who just brushes your teeth with fancy dentist equipment and charges you $100+!!! Although she has heavy accent and quite difficult to understand, it didn't really matter because as a dentist, all she needed to do was help you, and help maintain your teeth... She's not into marketing services either, if you don't need it, she will tell you... This is not a fancy dental clinic, so don't get your expectations up... There are no LCD TV's or fancy waterfalls in the waiting area... Perhaps, this is how she keeps her fee low... She is also understaff compared to other clinics... There is just her and an assistant... My 5 stars was for the great service she gives... its nice to know that there are still dentists who does a good job, and does not scream $$$ all the time... I am so glad I found Fallbrook Village Dental because I have finally found a place that really cares and takes great care of their patient's. Dr. Stephan Barrington is my new dentist and I am so grateful I found him and this office. He and his assistant took great care of me and never seemed rushed or distracted. I was able to get a crown and a filling all in one appointment. The permanent crown is done that day! No waiting weeks with a fragile temporary. The entire staff is great and very good about answering any questions I have. I even received a call today (Saturday) from the Dr. to check and see how I was doing. At the end of cleaning before you leave the hygienist, Jennie asked if I wanted a fluoride rinse and said it was covered by my insurance. I agreed. Then she gave me five cents worth of rinse in a cup to swish and a month later I get a bill for $21 because insurance did not cover!! The dentist seems nice enough but he tells you that you have all kinds of dental issues and then they give you an estimate with billing codes that don't exist and each treatment charge is in the thousands that are mostly not approved by your insurance. GET PRE-APPROVAL FOR EVERYTHING before agreeing to have anything done. Delta Dental Which is heavily lobbied by the American Dental Association will look the other way and will not advocate for you. You will end up paying out of pocket for most of their bogus charges. BEWARE!!

I let my self get into a bind, and had a bad tooth, but wasn't worried, because I could just call up ol' Doc Levin and he would fix me right up. Well, you could imagine how upset I was when I found out he had retired without any notice (thanks Doc) and sold his practice to Corporate Dentists! Fortunately, I found out which Dentist Dr Levin uses, and I went to them...Matthew Miller. I have to say Dr Miller is every bit as skilled and honest as Dr Levin, and I am very pleased.
