Henry Zuniga, the owner, was responsive and provided an estimate of $2200-. Additional materials needed raised the price to $2304-. Henry and one assistant came on time and spent a day working on the half-bath. They tore out and replaced the subfloor and installed a new LVT floor over it. They removed the old vanity and installed the new one. However, they could not install the vanity faucet plumbing. Henry said the drain pipe broke when they removed the old vanity. He said they could try to fix the plumbing but he didn't sound confident so I said I'd have my regular plumber (All Clear Plumbing) do that. Henry left before the job was complete, leaving his assistant to finish replacing the casing on the bathroom door. They had to remove it to install the vinyl tile floor. After his assistant left, we found two damages to the wallboard - one gouge and one actual hole punched through it. The casing had broken when it was removed but Henry's assistant reinstalled it anyway. We called and Henry said he'd return to re-do it. He charged us for the replacement casing but not for labor. When I pointed out the sloppy job his assistant had done and said it was not professional quality work, Henry's response was that he hadn't seen the finished job. It's his company - he certainly should have checked the finished work. All Clear Plumbing's technician needed less than half an hour (and $293-) to connect the vanity sink plumbing. In my opinion, Henry should have offered a partial refund for the plumbing they were not able to do and should not have charged us for the additional casing needed because his assistant had broken the existing pieces when he removed them. They're hard workers but not as skilled or careful as they could be. I would not hire them again.

Bill Jacobs did not try to "upsell me" over the phone, telling me possible solutions that were less complicated than I anticipated. He assessed the issue, evaluated the drainage piping issues and suggested least expensive solutions first, with further review once accessing the drain pipes. He communicated extremely well around appointment times, during the project, even showing pictures to explain how the progress was going. He made improvements over what the builder failed to do, burying gutter downspouts and connecting all drainpipes around the house. His crew unfortunately cut my underground electric dog fence, which was my fault as I forgot to indicate the lines. They told me what they had done and fixed it themselves the next day. After the job was completed, they cleaned up the site perfectly and threw down hay until grass regrows. Bob then took me around the house explaining all that he did, and answered all of my questions. I really wanted to use L&G so I questioned the gutter cost that was near double the lowest price point, as well I asked why we had to remove my current wood panels to install the siding when 5 other contractors felt it was better to install over the wood. Basically I was told my house would not look right and that the gutters were the lowest without them losing money. I reconnected with the other contractors and questioned the removal of the wood as I was curious if they were trying to save me money to win the bid and if that was actually best for my home. All 5 agreed it was actually better to install over. Fast forward, I went with a contractor who did not do gutters - so I waited to call gutter professionals when the siding was done. I collected 4 estimates as well as some to roof a barn shed. Ironically all these quotes were half of L&G's gutter quote which is what I found with the other siding contractors. One contractors who didn't do roofs suggested I reconnect with L&G. I did. I explained why I didn't use them and told them I was looking for the cheapest solution (product) to roof the shed. I asked if they would consider coming out for a fair estimate without any fluff or unnecessary add ons. The shed is nothing that need a spectacular metal roof and precision shingling. L&G declined coming out to provide a fair estimate and related they would not be the cheapest.
