​I am absolutely disgusted with the level of customer service and management at Matt Blatt Nissan. During my first visit to look at a vehicle, the salesperson assisting me was highly unprofessional and treated the entire interaction like a joke. I left immediately because of the blatant lack of professionalism. ​Against my better judgment, I decided to give this dealership a second chance. Prior to returning, I responded to a text message from their staff, confirming a 2:00 PM appointment and specifically requesting that the vehicle be pulled up front and ready for a test drive. ​I arrived ten minutes early, only to find the vehicle was nowhere in sight. I went inside and asked for the sales manager I went outside to wait and see if they were bringing the vehicle out front. A man came out and introduced himself as sales manager and had the nerve to tell me they were "so busy," and that when he got a chance, he would have a salesperson bring the car around to the front. Frustrated by their failure to be ready for a confirmed appointment on top of my previous bad experience, I bluntly told him I wasn't there to play games or have him "blow smoke up my ass." ​Instead of apologizing for the delay or providing basic customer service, the sales manager took personal offense to my straightforward manner of speaking. I made it clear that this is simply how I talk and that his personal sensitivity is not my problem as a paying customer. Rather than de-escalating, he rudely told me to leave the premises and buy a car elsewhere. ​When I demanded to speak to the General Manager, this individual smugly claimed that he was the General Manager then laugh and again demanded I leave. I then asked for the owner, and he dismissively told me the owner was "in France," that there was absolutely nothing I could do, and to get off the lot. ​Here is the absolute worst part: Matt Blatt Nissan lost a guaranteed sale today. I walked onto their lot with a cashier's check in hand, fully prepared to purchase the vehicle outright if I was happy with the test drive. Instead of closing an easy deal, a so-called manager chased away a ready-to-buy customer simply because his fragile ego was bruised. ​If you want to be treated with respect and professionalism, avoid Matt Blatt Nissan at all costs. I brought my Vechicle there for service because I wanted a certified Nissan mechanic to repair It. I spent $900.00 on a repair that would have been done someplace else for half. I was in paying for a certified tech. They had the nerve to charge me the 3.5% credit card processing fee. That is total greed from their service department after making 25-50% markup on parts and charging a high labor rate. The Service manager told me that everyone is doing it now. I reminded him that Nissan always paid the 3.5% and should eat it like all other dealers. I could see if they were struggling like smaller businesses. We bought our vehicle a used Honda Accord Cross Tour over a year ago. The after-sale customer service was horrible! We purchased the extended warranty and when I had a problem with the alternator the woman in service was rude and condescending. She asked why I was bringing it back there since they are a Nissan dealer and the car is a Honda. I told her I was having a problem with mechanics willing to do the work under warranty. I bought the warranty from them and expected them to honor the warranty. We then had an accident with the car in January 2023 and the car was totaled. I submitted forms for reimbursement of a prorated refund of the Extended Warranty and the Gap Addendum we purchased when we bought the car. I have called the finance department at least 20 times trying to get a response on the status of the refund. No responses! the operators are useless and have no clue so they hang up on you - under the pretense that they are transferring me! I spoke with James a few hours ago. He told me he was a sales manager and he would DEFINITELY get back to me in an hour. Well, again no response! I would think they would be more helpful knowing we will be looking for another car soon! I would NEVER return to Matt Blatt. From the initial after-sale contact in the service department when we had an issue to now being ignored for a prorated refund on warranties and Gap insurance. I am looking now into contacting the NJ better business bureau and how to file a consumer complaint. Please if you are looking at a car go to another dealer that will be responsive AFTER the sale also! read more

Hands down the absolute BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A CAR DEALERSHIP! Working with the sales manager, James Torrez, and sales associate, Shaunice Small, was amazing! They made sure everything was 100% approved, in our price range, found me the exact car that I wanted that I didn't even consider before with NO HIDDEN SURPRISES (other than how incredible the car was) and did it all before my husband and I even came to the dealership! I was super skeptical as I've had pretty bad experiences at car dealerships before, but they made me feel comfortable, REALLY LISTENED to what my wants were and what our financial needs were but not only that, they even listened to personal details. I would avoid this place at all cost! I went in to look at a new Titan Pro-4x that I saw on the lot. The salesman said that it was available but was heading to a sister store for a potential transfer but in reality AJ was driving it and by time I got to "make an offer" on it there was over 1k miles on the "new" truck and they still wanted new truck price for this truck that had been beaten on (8 mpg average meaning he did not drive it nice). Truck was all muddy and had his shoes in the bed of the truck and the passenger side heat/cooling in the seat didn't work but they still wanted the sticker price for it... fast forward a year the truck is still on the lot and they still wanted new truck price because although there was over 1k miles on it at this point the truck had never been registered so it was new... I finally see they sold this truck and I feel bad for the guy who bought this used and abused truck for some new price but I'm sure they put profits first. read more

If you enjoy the uneasy feeling of going to a 3rd world country and being shaken down by an army of locals the moment you leave the airport this is the place for you. My mom went in to get her speedometer certified (1 sheet of paper, 30 seconds) so she could pay off her lease and they took her keys and kept her there for hours while scumbag after scumbag tried to get her to turn over the car to them and either let them process it (for $2k more). Like an endless video game very time she defeated one of these high school drop outs they would go into the back room and a new boss would appear that she would have to defeat. Luckily at 80 years old she's smarter than all them but F all your lives for trying to rip off an old lady and waste hours of her time. Shame on all of you.
