I drove her car to check it out and realized her brakes were in dire need of replacement, metal on metal. Mom was planning to go back to Philly on Monday, but now that didn't look like it was going to happen. Many shops were closed on Saturday, and some were booked out for a few days. I was not familiar with Riverside Auto Repair, but on a recommendation, I checked them out. I was told that it was best to text Larry, the owner. I did, Larry immediately responded and said to bring the car over Saturday morning. My expectations were exceeded. Lary performed a full safety check on the car and pointed out a few items that needed attention. He sent me a detailed estimate for repairs with pictures, and I could respond and pick and choose which items I wanted him to fix or replace. I responded and in a matter of a few hours, the car was fixed with ice cold air and new brakes and rotors. Larry also fixed an item and didn't even charge me for it. My Mother was thrilled. I used to be in the business, and I am familiar with the cost of repairs for autos. Larry was polite and provided extremely quick service at a reasonable cost and the repairs were perfect.
