I'm pretty sure this is the worst I've ever been treated by a dealership. We made a deal over the phone after test driving a Sorento plug in hybrid a few days prior. I discovered before we picked the vehicle up that it had two recalls from 6 months ago that were not completed. I called my salesman Mike and told him I didn't want to pick the vehicle up until the recalls are complete. He said it would be taken care of. When I came in that Saturday to pick the car up only one of the recalls were completed because they were waiting on parts. I also noticed there were these pretty bad scuff marks in the cup holders that I wanted fixed. We agreed they would fix the cup holders and do the recall and I could pick the vehicle up when all that was done. I got a call from Tom that Tuesday and he said the cup holders were fixed and looked perfect. I asked Tom if I could leave a deposit for the vehicle and he said he would let Mike know. Mike called me later in the day and  told me the parts for the recall would be in on Wednesday. We set up a time on Friday for me to pick up the vehicle.  I'm thinking we're all good. Mike calls me that Wednesday and tells me the vehicle was SOLD on Tuesday. How does that happen? How could you treat a customer that way? I just can't believe a dealership could treat a person this way. I forgot to mention Tom called me after I left on June 7th and was really trying to minimize the damage to the cup holders. I was mostly happy with my salesman but the sales managers that let that car go out the door are the most unethical people I've ever dealt with. read more

The last time they messed up her rims and told her they would replace it. She brought it in this morning at 10 AM, and she still waiting for it more than two hours later. Had my Kia SUV serviced here. Asked for Oil, oil filter change and tire rotation. Paid invoice for above when getting into car noticed tires were NOT rotated (I marked the Tires prior to the service) and lug nut lock key was missing. When I inquired about not rotating the tires they said tires did not need rotation but I was still charged for the work. They lost the lug nut key and never told me and were letting me leave without the key until i noticed it was missing. Service Dept. is Dishonest, incompetent, not trustworthy, and falsified the payment receipt. They charged for service not performed and returned vehicle in unsafe condition. I would not use this dealership for service. Service manager was Jeff Thomas who made no attempt to correct the problem. His response was welcome to corporate America. read more

I purchased my K5 back in 6/23. Absolutely love the car. The service is another story. I always wondered why there was never a line of people waiting for their cars to be serviced. Maybe it is because of the fact that you can never get through to an advisor. Everything is done by text. I find this to be completely unacceptable! Emails that offer any specials on service (oil changes, tire rotation, front end alignment) are nonexistent! You would think that being a first time KIA buyer, that they would want to make a good impression. In fact, I still receive more emails from Boardwalk Honda about their service specials on my vehicle that I traded in! Needless to say I will be bringing my KIA into my local mechanic for service. I purchased my first Kia sorento in April. It was "brand new" when I left the lot. It hasn't sounded right since day one. I take it in for my first oil change which I was told, was free when purchased. Well it was not free, it was 101 dollars and they also told me there were 4 recalls and my alignment was off. It would cost another 130 to fix alignment. They added on some other random stuff trying to price gauge me for unneeded things. When I called to make the appt I was told I would be in and out within 15 minutes. When I showed up they told me it would take over an hour for oil change. It ended up taking closer to two hours. If I knew it was going to take this long and I would be paying for my first oil change I would have gone to a place MUCH closer to home and MUCH quicker. People are rude not helpful and they are crooked. I lease new cars every 3-4 years and this is the first one I will say has been absolutely awful. Every other lease with different companies also gave tons of incentives. This company, absolutely nothing, and tries to rip you off in everyway possible. I should have known better but I thought I would try out Kia and give it a chance. NEVER AGAIN! Plenty other cars and companies out there. read more

My grandmother was originally in the market for a used minivan under 50K miles. They had just gotten it in so they didn't have all the information on it but although it was cute, we got the feeling it was a repo (Matt told us the system wasn't letting him purchase like it normally did, plus there was a Womens purse on the front seat among other small odds and ends. Plus they hadn't even gotten a chance to go over the car, etc). Then Matt started telling us about the 2018 vans they were clearing out for about 10k more and sold it to my grandmother for a price she couldn't refuse! I purchase a new car every two years and this is absolutely absurd..they said they eould like to me meet me then we can possibly get the vehicle to the store..if that is not profiling, OMG. Purchased my used 2017 Nissan Rogue from Matt Blatt this past May during the Coronavirus. Santino, my salesperson was helpful without being pushy. I had chosen the car on line on a Saturday evening and picked it up that Monday afternoon. Everything went flawlessly. Had the first oil change done today. I dealt with a young man named Alan who was absolutely wonderful. He was proficient, professional and patient (I had a complaint about one employee ) but Alan more than made up for my displeasure with that individual. What a scam. they charged me $400 to change a fuse claiming it took 2 hours in labor to perform the job. good lord, what a rip off! My car is just past the 5 year warranty period and the mileage is only 34k. The fact that Kia doesn't cover this is a separate issue but the fact that Matt Blatt gouged me for 2 hours labor on top of a $250 towing bill is quite the middle finger. they charge $160 just to look at the car so once I had committed to that, there was no point in taking the car to a regular mechanic who wouldn't rob me blind. I'll never set foot in this sorry excuse for a business again and I strongly suggest anyone reading this stay far away from them. We all know dealerships are more expensive than most private mechanics but 2 hours labor to change a F****** fuse is over the top. Heres hoping they get what they deserve and go bankrupt in the recession. I was met by Aaron Wilkinson who was so kind and professional. He listened to what I wanted to do and applied ZERO pressure and showed me different vehicles. I immediately gravitated towards the 2023 Kia Forte GT-line. I decided on this particular car and wanted to get a quote and see where I stood with down payment, etc. I had enough equity that I didnt need a down payment. Tom McClellan, the senior advisor came out and explained that I could walk off the lot with it today if I wanted, but to take my time to decide. Again, NO PRESSURE. Both of them made me very comfortable, didnt push anything on me and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to meet my expectations. The whole process was quick and didnt take hours. I drove off the lot that day with a brand new car. The best thing? I receive a quick phone call everyday the 1st couple days asking if im enjoying the vehicle and if there are any questions. My daughter has a 2013 Kia Soul .It kept stalling When stopped in traffic. She called and made an appointment with the service dept. At first the couldn't find an issue with her vehicle,then they called her to tell her the alternator and throttle body injection system needs repair. They had her vehicle for 4 days and made repairs at A COST Of 930$ . After driving it approx 3 days the same Issue again with the vehicle stalling. I tried calling the service manager today at 530pm but he went home . Pretty positive experience buying a used Honda car here. No hassles. They negotiated down nicely, not that they were giving the car away by any means. I had no trade in so no experience with them in that regard. Process was quick. I negotiated a timing belt service into the deal just to be safe, which they did with no problems.
