I never ever write reviews unless the service was outstanding or horrendous. Luckily the service I received from Mathew Dillard was not only outstanding, but it totally changed my entire look. i got the brazilian blowout, which I had never heard of before I went to Mathew. He was very thorough in explaining every detail that the brazilian blowout entailed and even made recommendations as to what type of brushes and hair dryers to use. Now I'm a very skeptical person and take the advise that most hairstylists give me with a grain of salt, because most of the time they don't know what they're talking about. That is not the case with Mathew. He's very educated in his line of work and made my hair silky and shiny, which is a pretty tough feat to do. I had curly and frizzy hair, but after he was done with me my hair was silky smooth. No, it's definitely not cheap, but good quality never is. And I can honestly say you will get top quality and professionalism with Mathew Dillard. Sadly I don't live in Dallas anymore, but if I ever move back or even come back to visit I will definitely be in to see him. read more

Matthew Dillard is a hidden gem that I am so lucky to have found! recently moved to Frisco from Chicago and was looking for a new hairdresser. I came across Matthew Dillard's website and the reviews were so amazing I decided to schedule an appt. My first visit was a simple haircut, that I must say I was very pleased with. Matthew doesn't try to push a haircut on you that you may not like, He listens to you and understands where you want to go with your hair; be it a cut or color. My latest appt with Matthew was color change. Now let me explain.....my hair was very dark (almost black) and I was going for a light brown with some honey highlights. Wow...Matthew is seriously a hair god! My hair was seriously..well, just bad. Matthew did a color correction and totally transformed my hair. For the first time in 10 years I left feeling completely satisfyed and relieved that I have finally found someone that can deliver. My friends and family were floored when they saw me! have searched all over Plano and Frisco and have been to several stylists. I travel for a living, so it's hard for me to find someone. I found Matthew through another review, and I am glad I found him. He is incredible. He fixed my color, and spent a great deal of time teaching me how to fix my hair the way that a stylist fixes it. He taught me the right shampoos to use, which products to use and why because of my hair type, and answered questions regarding my hair even when it was not my appointment time. I have tried every top salon in the Dallas area and was recently referred to Matthew by a friend. I have never been more impressed by a stylist and I so thankful I found him.
