Years of loyalty, but no response after X-rays and insurance claim…read more I've been a loyal patient of Dr. Joanne Butler for many years and always appreciated her care, but this recent experience has completely changed my view. Over a month ago, I went in for a maintenance visit and a crown had broken. She explained that she would submit the claim to my insurance and, based on coverage, either repair it or refer me elsewhere. She also took X-rays and an impression for a bite guard. Since that appointment, I've called several times and have not received a single return call. (On one occasion I managed to speak with Ed her husband/office manager but still no callback) Its extremely disappointing to be ignored after so many years as a patient. If the problem was that my insurance didn't pay enough, that should have been discussed honestly--not avoided. What's worse is that X-rays and other services were billed to my insurance, yet there has been no communication, plan, or care provided. I expected better treatment and respect from a practice I trusted for so long. I'll be taking my care elsewhere.

I had the root canal done by an endodontist in July and then it took months for her to finally get back to me and booked an appt for late Sept. When I arrived at the office, she had an elderly man as her reception who is actually her husband tell me that I had to pay out of pocket $1050, or she cannot see me. My insurance requires no copayment as she is a in network provider with my insurance co. I told him I want a copy of the bill at that time I seen she billed and was paid for service that I did not receive. I contacted my ins co and filed a grievance against her. I have also read on google, Healthgrades and other sights of other patients with similar bogus experiences with her. I wish I would have read her ratings before going to her. If you have experienced her scam, please contact your insurance co, don't let her continue to get away with billing for service she hasn't rendered or over charging.

One cavity was so deep that a crown needed to be put in. To save a whole shpiel, Dr. Bral filled in all the cavities like it was nothing, and the crown he put in was perfect -- indistinguishable from the other teeth. He did a great job and was incredibly professional. Not much more needs to be said. Would recommend 100%. Great guy.

I went in to have the female short haired blond dentist check a crown that has been feeling sensitive when I bite down on it. I was seated in a room quickly but then had to wait forever until she finally came in the room. I told her what I was there for she and said I needed new X-rays, so they did that and I was sitting there waiting again. Finally she came back and just started filing down my crown to adjust it. I literally pushed their hands away because I was in pain and had tears rolling down my face. She then asked if I wanted her to numb it, which I thought would've been obvious from the beginning, I said yes so she gave me that and I had to wait 10 minutes for it to take effect. 10 minutes passed and I had to ask how much longer she would be. I was told she was coming. She didn't come for another 10 minutes. When she finally walked by and heard me asking again when she was coming. She stood at the door and said "what's the problem?" That set me off and I complained about her having me wait so long and just walking back and forth and I asked her why she didn't numb me in the first place knowing my tooth was hurting and she said that it wasn't obvious to her that she would have to. The dental assistant also chimed in to say that she wasn't just walking around. After they finished and I left I made sure to tell the front desk to make a note that I didn't want either one of them working on me again.

He did half the job and charged me $250.00 although I had Insurance. (The fee was never discussed before the procedure.) I paid the amount and delayed seeing him till yesterday. I called his office on Tuesday, the 29th for an emergency visit and was granted an appointment at 12N. (July 30,2025) I reached there around 11:30 as I was parking my car I received a call from the receptionist informing me that my appointment had to be rescheduled because they have "equipment problems". I said I am already at the door and all I needed was for him to look at my tooth (10 seconds) to see if I am infected. I was in pain. She agreed and I walked in. There was one patient waiting, she was taken in, and as I am sitting there, two more patients walked in. One after the other they were taken in. The "equipment trouble" was a big lie. I sat there for two hours and finally walked out and called the receptionist and told her how I felt about the situation. She apologised to me. If the Dr. did not want to see me due to any reason, all he had to inform me was he was busy. I went there with an appointment. I always felt that he was very unprofessional and rude and no manners. He is an immigrant like I am. I do not know what I did to him to hate me. He is hungry for MONEY. If you notice, majority of the positive reviewers are all females. The dentists I had been to previously were very judgmental and not at all sympathetic to my emotional needs. I had so many bad dental experiences that I had almost given up hope. What first struck me was his kindness, warmth and reassurance. Other dentists I had been to were condescending, but Dr. Levy was uplifting in his approach. He spent a huge amount of time with me and fully answered all my questions and concerns. All my options were explained in detail. No other dentist had ever done that before. He is the first dentist that ever did a thorough oral cancer exam on me. His office staff is wonderful and greets you with a smile. The office is spotless and clean! All latest technology is used. Dr. Levy is the extremely professional, gentle and is a perfectionist. I highly recommend him!
