The air conditioner was not working properly and it needed oil BAD so they put the oil which was great but the AC problem was not fixed. We called on a Thursday afternoon and were given a Monday morning appointment. A short time after dropping the car off, Joe called us and explained exactly what was needed and why. During the same phone call he gave us a cost breakdown for materials and labor and disclosed what the total amount would be. Once we gave the go ahead to do the job we received a phone call back within a few hours advising that the work was completed. The cherry on top was that the total price came in under the price quoted. And, the BEST part is that the air conditioner now works like new. I've used this shop for close to 10 years at this point. On the first occasion they told me to check with my insurance company first, and on the second occasion told me to check with my dealership, stating that they suspect the issue is covered by some sort of warranty. Their advice were correct on both occasions - following their advice saved me a lot of money on the repairs, even though they lost the business by turning me away. Based on these experience I consider this shop as very honest and have continued to use them through out the years. Their prices for routine stuff like oil change and state inspections, as well as other repairs, are much cheaper than my dealership. They also have a quicker turn around time and do offer rides if you ask them. The employees have been courteous in all the times I've dealt with them. We called in advance to ask if they fix Priuses. Now, they are saying they don't fix them, and we need to take it to the dealership. We stopped using them years ago, because they fix something and charge you $1,000 without asking for approval. So, if you go there for inspection, they charge you to replace a radiator which breaks within a year. Another time they fixed the wrong lock in our door. They made us pay for fixing the locks on the right and left hand side. Plus, they made us run to the locksmith and get the parts. It took them a month to fix our car that time. We live super close, and we could have parked our car in our driveway for 2 months. Dave won't accept responsibility, and he just blamed us for our car being parked on the street and not getting fixed. He has the only set of keys for the car, so I'm not sure what he thought we were suppose to do with our non working car.

Don't look for frills, but recognize the efficiency of how well this couple runs their business. I arrived at 4:30 sharp, but no appt is necessary. I presented my (required) registration/insurance cards to the kind woman and I sat down. He finish the car ahead of me, then I pulled my car up next. While a gentleman did the inspection the kind woman proceeded to verify my info and do the paperwork. They work very effectively together. The whole process took 15 minutes and cost $70. I paid cash. I believe she said you can also pay another. When the inspection was finished the gentlemen suggested I soon purchase one new rear tire and I was on my way. I also noticed they do other things like clear your yellow head lights, oil changes, flats and I think they're even mobile. These kind people will get my money every year.

Note that I am a real consumer, not the usual shill who is really the owner, employee, or someone who gets paid to post fake five star reviews for crooked companies. Unlike most if not all other car repair joints, Kelley's owners genuinely care about their customers. Try them and you will see what I mean. Kelley's always keeps their promises and gets repairs done on time at the quoted prices. Their rates are the same as everyone else's but you will end up saving a fortune because they only do necessary repairs and often discourage repairs if it is in the best interest of the customer. I have never seen any other auto repair shop do that. Just this week, I told Eric that I would be willing to pay more than $2,000 to fix my old car but he talked me out of that extensive work and into a mere $360 fix, which by the way worked and even got the "Check engine" light to turn off, an unexpected and wonderful bonus! Kelley's has ASE-certified mechanics and cutting-edge equipment, so you cannot beat their expertise and effectiveness. The neighborhood is safe and clean. There are many million dollar houses within a block of the shop! My one complaint is that you are required to make an appointment two or more days in advance because they have such a loyal following. But overall, you ain't gonna beat Kelley's with Aaron Judge's bat. All claims made in this review can be verified by getting estimates from Kelley's and two other ASE-certified shops for the same repair. Kelley's will always be competitive and likely be the cheapest due to their refusal to do unnecessary repairs, which is how most shops make a killing.
