On a recommendation by my chiropractor we stopped in today to purchase a new mattress. Jim (Manager) and was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He didn't try to pressure us into the most expensive mattress. He listened to our back issues and asked appropriate questions about our sleeping habits. OK so I'm back again, 4/2/2014,third time and literally a year to the day since my bother bought his bed, and like I mentioned before my dad was in serious need of a new bed, went in around 11ish and was greeted by Dustin, again he remembered us and asked if it was my dads turn for a new bed, he showed us some great beds and had my dad try them out, he tried out about 4 or 5 and finally decided on a full bed, its literally the same style bed my brother and myself have bought from Matthews Mattress, we ordered it up and was delivered today, will continue to be a proud customer of Matthews mattress and let people know where to get the best priced beds. read more

Started with Matthew's Mattresses because of their excellent reviews. We live in Napa so went to the Napa store. Dustin was superb, no hard sell, let us try everything - even the things we would never buy - and pointed out our perfect mattress. We ended up with our perfect mattress, it was delivered on time, and if I ever need another mattress I will head to Matthew's. But I probably won't need another mattress because the one I bought has a 20 year, 3/4 inch problem, which won't happen. Last mattress I'll need and thanks, Dustin! Based on my price range and desired characteristics, he helped me narrow down my search. Trying out mattresses can be difficult in a pushy environment. Not once during my visit did I feel rushed or pressured to purchase. Tony was knowledgable, attentive, and respectful of my decision making process. When I purchased the mattress, Tony gave me a tempurpedic pillow that I was planning to purchase at no charge. Moreover, the mattress was delivered to me within 4 hours. We are new to the area, so after reading the outstanding reviews, we decided to try Matthew's Mattress. We could not have been happier with our decision. I'm someone who feels a little bit of anxiety going to places like this where you feel they will try to up-sell you or pressure you to buy. Dustin helped us out, and was nothing but easy-going, helpful and genuinely wanted us to find the mattress that was the best fit for us. We even told him that we came to the store because of all the great reviews that mentioned his name. His response? "Nah, you should come on the weekend - my coworker is WAY nicer." Because of Dustin's knowledge and recommendations, we made our decision in under 20 minutes. We went right back to fill out the paperwork and as we sat with him he made great conversation, had a few hilarious jokes. We were out of there in 45 minutes and had our mattress the next day. I went out mattress shopping looking for something cheap and quick as i had been sleeping on a couch. I went to the two other stores in Napa and was disappointed in selection, quality, and price. The salespeople were pushing certain mattresses and not listening to what I wanted and liked. And they all seemed way overpriced. I had decided I would probably have to go to a department store, finance a bed, and wait 6 weeks for delivery. Then I went to Matthews Matress and the store was clean and inviting and Dustin was friendly. He listened to what I liked instead of pushing a mattress I'm supposed to like based on how I sleep. He encouraged me to try out several matresses and let me know which ones were the most popular. And their prices were the best in town. I was able to get a mattress that will last me for years instead of the cheap and quick one I had in mind. He gave advice on what affordable options to get now that will make sense for me in the future. He made sure I knew I should get a matress protector since I have 2 cats and told me where I could find higher end ones, cheaper ones, and about the ones they carry. They have name brand mattresses with a warranty for a great deal and it was delivered and set up the very next day with flexible time frames. Great experience! read more
