This fee was never communicated to me until I had left the facility and was within 5 minutes of home. The scheduler and management had ample opportunity to advise me of the cost at the launch when we spoke just an hour earlier. Was this withholding of valuable information accidental or calculated? I don't know. What I do know is that all information must be available to make a rational and informed decision. Had I been apprised of a $300 fee to move the boat at launch you had best believe the boat would have been moved from the slings directly into the slip, avoiding a completely unnecessary $300 fee. I e-mailed and phoned management to request a person to person meeting to discuss my concerns but my attempts to reach out were never returned. My message to boaters travelling and staying in Deltaville is that you might want to look into other marina options in Deltaville.
