I stopped into this carpet store / antique shop and ordered some carpet for an outdoor front porch…read more I think the husband runs the carpet business and the wife runs the antique business, and the son-in-law is one of the carpet installers. How's that for a local family operated business! It took about 7 days for my special order carpet to arrive, then due to it being a bit chilly and rainy and this carpet going outside on a covered porch, we had to wait about another 30 days for the weather to be right to get it installed. The installers came and had it done in about 6 hours, and this included tearing up the old carpet and hauling it away. The new carpet is very soft, easy to clean, feels great on bare feet, has a 5 year warranty, and looks great on the front porch. The very old (30yrs??) worn carpet was one of the first things seen by anyone walking up onto the porch, and now it makes you proud to have people come to your front door. They did an excellent job, acted professional, and all seems to have been done very nicely and correct. To cover the porch with 1 piece of carpet and avoid having a seem, I did have to order a larger, most costly, piece of carpet. But with it being outdoor carpet I was worried the seem would give in a year or two and cause issues, and I will just use the leftover carpet elsewhere. The cost was right at $500 total for everything. Approx size of 8ft x 16ft, very high quality carpet.

It was simple and easy. They were not pushy or overbearing trying to make a sell. After everything was set up and I decided what I wanted, they were up front and told me that it would be about 8 or 9 months for the furniture to come in due to COVID. So, they asked that I put half down on my furniture and pay the remaining balance when the furniture comes in. I normally would be a bit hesitant to give that much money to some businesses because without getting the product. However, I felt comfortable doing it with them and did so without hesitation. During the wait, I called a few times and they gladly gave me updates on my sectional. They called me right away when it came in. It was a month earlier than they had predicted. They offer a delivery service for a fee, I think like $150 or so. But I could not wait and just rented a U-Haul and got a buddy and went and picked up the sectional myself. The process was seamless and pretty easy. The only issue, which was out of their control, was the long wait. This business is run by a wonderful couple who is very knowledgeable about furniture. They made the sometime daunting task of furniture shopping easy and enjoyable. I recommend checking this place out for your furniture needs. They are honest, upfront, and friendly.

The problem is you get locked into their exchange policy where you get a single exchange and no refund option unless you cancel your purchase before they order it (e.g. 24-48 hrs). If the exchange mattress is cheaper you only get store credit back. Communication was also pretty lacking. A week went by after ordered our mattress and no updates. I had to call to find out they were getting tracking numbers the. No updates for another half week even after they got the number or the anticipated delivery date, they just call to schedule once it's in store. We ended up not liking the Helix so exchanged for a Leesa which isn't once of their vendors so they had to reach out to the company and again no updates for another two weeks unless I called. The company that exchanged our mattress went smoothly and people showed up when they said they would. Overall, i like supporting local businesses but I honestly would've been better off just ordering from Helix's company directly since i would've gotten a full refund regardless of what my subsequent mattress ended up being and would've gotten tracking numbers directly instead of a middle-man. This place would be fine to order from if you're in love with the mattress but if you're hoping to trial a mattress for a few months or ordering from a online retailer, you're better off somewhere else.

Yes, that is correct.....the employee was sound asleep on one of the mattress against the wall! He was so sound asleep that we heard him snoring!! Obviously the door chime did not wake him up when we walked in. My husband and I both turned around and left the store in shock! The door chime went off again as we walked out, I have no idea if that woke up that employee??? We got into our car and left to head over to another mattress store to make a purchase. They gave me a bad back up unit~ So.... sell me a POS machine, replace it with a POS and then tell me tough~ So Not cool~ You would think they would actually care about the people who buy multiple times. I am in a team of about 30+ landlords and they don't care~

Found this in place thru the yellow pages and so glad we did! We bought everything we needed for our bathroom (9 cabinets of different sizes) AND ended up buying three sets of cabinets for our laundry room. You don't know what they have in stock - they get it from places going out of business, etc. But there is a very large selection there, and apparently they can also order some missing pieces you may need. Everything is new. Prices vary from 40%-70% off retail. Most of it is finished, although they had a small amount of unfinished cabinets. We purchased maple cabinets for just a little more than you would pay for the cheap, unfinished oak cabinets that are for sale at the big box stores. And the guy who helped us was terrific to work with - very patient and very knowledgeable . He also drew up on the computer a design for the cabinets to make sure we got what we needed - just like they would in a regular cabinet store! So glad we found this place!

He was very helpful with his suggestions/recommendations. For example, I wanted cordless top down-bottom up cellular shades, but my windows are tall and I can't reach the top, thus would not be able to use the cordless top down feature easily). He also worked within my budget, as he offers a wide variety of brands/styles. My shades arrived quickly and I was scheduled for installation within a week after they arrived. The installers were professional, friendly and fast. I was not only impressed by the quality of the product, but also Jerry's measuring skills. Each one is a perfect fit! My custom sliding door drape took a bit longer, but through no fault of Abda's (the finials were on an eternal backorder). However, once they arrived I was scheduled within 2 days to have it hung. Overall, an excellent experience!…read more Before purchasing our bed, I telephoned Bedder Way with questions, and the customer service was great. My call was answered promptly, the person I spoke with was knowledgeable, patient, and cheerful. There was a delay in the bed's arrival, which left us scrambling a bit because we had broken down and gotten rid of our old bed in anticipation of a timely delivery (no room to get the new one in without the old one out). That said, the delivery folks kept us informed about the progress of our delivery. On the day the bed did arrive, the driver was very kind and careful with the handling and placement of the very large (!) box outside because it was too big to deal with inside our tiny home. It was a challenge opening the box and unpacking the bed parts, which was a decidedly Good Thing. All of the pieces were expertly and very solidly packed using wood and solid/strong styrofoam(?) pieces to prevent any scarring or scratching of any of the components. The directions for putting the bed together and installing it were very detailed and useful -- and my oh my, it is so comfortable - much more so than our former bed even though we used our existing mattress. We sleep on it every night, often closing it during the day to give us more room, plus it keeps the bed nice. I am small and 70 yo and can easily handle taking the bed up and down. There are two slight challenges: one is remembering that the legs at the foot of the bed stick out a bit when the bed is open, so it can be tough on your shins if you aren't mindful; the other is changing the bed -- it's a bit difficult (but, of course, doable) to get the fitted sheet on at the top of the mattress because the enclosure does not leave a lot of room to maneuver; and, caution is needed when one lifts the bottom of the mattress to put on the sheets and tuck in the bedding because the bed frame pops up in an effort to close because there is no weight on it at the moment. The only disappointment was the lights, which are add-on purchases, and not built into the bed itself. The "neck" on one of them isn't sufficiently stiff to hold the lamp in position. That said, it was not enough of an issue to bother Bedder Way about it, and we are managing. :-) [Bedder Way saw our review and sent a new lamp!! Another feather in their cap!] All in all, the Bedder Way Murphy bed was the perfect choice for a senior couple who radically downsized and moved into a tiny 1930 build duplex to be near family and within walking distance to all the necessary amenities (stores, medical offices, public transportation, etc.). We are now considering a Bedder Way side cabinet when we are able to manage it. :-)
