Multiple calls, many days of not being gotten back to by "district" manager and then an obstinance and arrogance like none other. I went online fill out a form requesting the owner call us to discuss the situation not once but three times. Each time I receive a someone will get back to you. NOTHING! Ownership might be local and happy go lucky in their commercials but their lack of action to their customers shows their true colors. UPDATE: Another strike, they delivered a mattress and hauled the old one, charged for hauling, even though hauling was not required, since the location was apartments, any apartments have a furniture disposal location on site, same as where waste and recycling is taken. Friendly sales service from Vern. Sold me a Beautyrest Black, extra firm based upon the one in the showroom. It came - it was as hard as cement. I went right back next day - saying they would have to take it back as it wasn't the same as the one in the showroom. I was told I would have to break it is (literally suggested I put it on the floor and walk on it for a few weeks). Then said it was the best mattress for back sleeper. I had clearly said it was for side sleeper - and he sold me 2 pillows for side sleepers. The only option was to pay another $600 for next step up plus several hundred for thinner box spring ( since next step up is a ticker mattress). Oh, and it was all based upon the computer because they didn't have any of the next step up mattresses on the floor. And, can't exchange if not happy, can only do that one time. Last red flag was that the mattresses on the floor have all had the original tags removed so it wasn't even possible to confirm the mattress I had gotten was the same as the one I tested in the show room. I shop with this brand to support our local, but had a really bad experience. I left this review as encouraged by store manager. Before my story, my suggestion is: if you are 100% sure what you are buying, go for it. Otherwise, don't waste your money since they won't provide any professional consultation or service. I shopped an adjustable base for my bed frame with drawer at the foot. To avoid making mistake, I always told sales person at first since I know most of the base cannot work with storage beds. I got recommended on this one. As they said, this would work perfect with my bed and provide high-end functions. However, it seems totally absurd and ridiculous when I got delivery and saw it in real. Could you imagine to float on a board having 15 inches gap all surroundings? I was wondering if I can return since it not works as suggested. It totally not works with my bed. I also offered to pay delivery and restocking fee. However, what I got is "NO", which is the first time someone told me this is final sale. I have many shopping experiences and all the merchants would love to make sure you aware of "final sale" before making payment. Seems like their goal is to keep selling without customer obsession, uh? I argued, in many ways, all I got is the answer "no, we can do nothing". THE STORE MANAGER SHOUTED AND STORMED WITH HIS RED NECK, LIKE A BULLY. NO CONSOLE, NO UNDERSTANDING, NO PROFESSIONAL. I even asked "do you think its a reasonable base, having such large gap with your bed". GUESS WHAT I HEARD??? Their store manager said "Yes, it's reasonable and I am very like to sleep on it". I'm usually pretty prompt about my YELP reviews, but this one I needed to wait on. It's one thing to review a restaurant ( order, eat, done ) , it's clearly another to purchase a good bed. It's been over one year since my purchase and here is my review : First, the store is located near the Bellevue Goodwill, Asian Food Center and Seattle Lighting. Parking on the weekend can be a challenge but is well worth the effort. We had done our homework before looking and I was pleasantly surprised when our salesman echoed what we had read and heard. Our salesman was Andy and he was the perfect mix of great personality and knowledge about what we were looking for. I never felt like we got a big, high pressure sales-pitch. I felt like we had a good conversation. In the end, we chose an Englander Latex mattress. We had read-up on these products and learned a few new things from Andy, as well. It had a quality look and feel and seemed to perfectly fit our lifestyle and need. Mattress Depot is not a fancy place and I was glad for that. They had a great selection and a clean, bright store to shop in. The reason I decided to wait on this review is simple. A bed always feels great when it's brand new. It's after you've had it awhile that the true test comes. I'm happy to report that we love it as much today as we did the day we first got it. I am glad we chose to upgrade our old bed. It wasn't cheap, but that's really the point ... it wasn't "cheap". The quality is amazing on so many levels. Delivery was perfect. The guys were helpful and professional. I read a couple other reviews here and it feels like they were talking about a different store. Our experience was even better than we had hoped. Andy was a pleasure to work with and I would happily refer friends and family to visit this store. We will definitely be back if we ever decide what to do about that pesky guest room ... ! read more

I wish I could give them one thousand stars. We came in to test a Nectar mattress about 10 minutes before they closed. We were disappointed in the Nectar, but blown away by the friendly service we received! We ended up staying past closing time (so sorry!) as Spencer and another super nice guy (Mike? maybe?) showed us basically every mattress in the store. We didn't end up making a purchase that day, but didn't feel pressured at all. A few weeks later, we came back and worked with Kim, a beautiful moonbeam of knowledge, tried out basically every mattress in the store AGAIN and ended up settling on the one that Spencer had initially recommended (thanks, Spencer!). And thanks, Kim! I hate being sold anything, and everyone we talked to was great about educating without overselling. We definitely didn't get the most expensive mattress in the store, and never once felt pressured to try something more expensive. We've been sleeping on this majestic beast of a mattress for three nights, and I've been getting such good sleep that I've woken up with a puddle of drool on my hand literally every morning. Also, more than once in the past few days, we've laid down in the middle of the day 'just to try it out" and have fallen asleep. It's that good. Oh! I almost forgot about how how amazing the delivery went! Kenny and Myrin were here right on time and set up our mattress and adjustable bed base in what felt like 30 seconds flat. Then they very patiently answered my many questions about how to work the remote. Mattress Depot is a local, family-owned company and we felt it in every interaction we had with them. They treated us with nothing but warmth, care, and respect -- which is not always the case when two queers go mattress shopping. read more

Bought a new queen mattress with a BedTech adjustable base. The electronics in the base died after less than a week. Since it worked on the day of delivery Mattress Depot wouldn't accept a return or exchange. Sent me to lodge a warranty claim with the manufacturer, who said they didn't know when the parts would be available. read more

Never buy anything at this store! They don't tell you that nothing can be returned! Bed accessories and mattresses, none is eligible for return. They don't tell you upfront and rely on fine prints to get customers. We bought two pillows and didn't sleep on them but changed our mind, they won't return nor exchange. The store manager Vinh actually laughed and said we never allow return for anything. On Amazon, we bought pillows and can return without reasons for 60 days. For mattresses. We were looking for tempur-pedic mattresses, don't buy at Mattress Depot USA at Bellevue location! In Bellevue downtown, there is a tempur-pedicure flagship store. People there will tell you that anything purchased in their store is returnable or exchangeable with 90 days! In today's world, who would buy from a store that doesn't honor returns and don't tell customers upfront that nothing is returnable!!! I don't recommend buying anything in this store read more

We were having problems with the bedframe that we ordered with the mattress we got from this place. We were consistently following up because we need the bed at a certain time because we had a visitor coming. They always say that they will call us back but never did, until it was too late to order in another establishment. We filed a complaint to Better Business Bureau about the case, and guess what? Their response was harsh and condescending, truly unprofessional. They called us pathological liars that needed to be examined in a mental institute, and harassing idiots. Please, to all people reading this, they don't deserve your business. There service and smile stops after you have signed the contract. I was in dire need of a new mattress. I was sleeping on a bed with about 2 inches of clearance (spring to box). But, I was happy for a few years with this because it was a queen and I was a twin man all through high school and college. Quantity over quality my first purchase. This purchase I wanted both quantity and quality. Mattress depot was a hot link in my Google mattress hunt. It seemed simple and reasonably priced. The store is what you think it would be, which is a bunch of mattresses. You get to lay on them, roll on them, etc Salesman was actually SUPER nice, and legitimately funny! He definitely had a smooth touch that only comes with years of sales, but he did not pressure me. Price was a bit steep, but I got the best bed on the block! I can honestly say they BOTH have great customer service and knowledge. They both offer free delivery and removal of your previous mattress. So why this and not the other store? THE PRICE. They guarantee to have the lowest prices... And in my experience that's true! My KING SIZED mattress from Mattress Depot cost about the same as my FULL SIZED mattress I got from the competitor. So what's the first argument going to be? Quality right? I'm no mattress expert. But I'll say this. Like many other mattress stores, the have up to 120 day guarantee. I know the type of bed I like (soft top with firm support ^_^) and the beds I tried felt just as comfy as my overpriced bed from the competitor. Finally, don't forget the coupons! (I didn't see this until afterwards). We were on the search for a new mattress, and decided to step in here during the Memorial Day sales event (everything seems to go on sale around 3-day weekends!). Our salesperson, Christian, was very informative and not pushy like many salespeople can be. I also didn't experience the creepy factor that has made me avoid mattress stores for years (why do so many of these guys make it obvious they enjoy watching a woman test out a bed!? ugh!). Anyhow, Christian explained many different features of different mattresses and helped steer us towards something that would work best for us... all in a non-pressuring way! We ended up with a pretty good deal due to the special weekend sale and didn't need to use other discounts. There is a guarantee for lowest price too so even if we did find something cheaper somewhere else, we wouldn't have gotten ripped off here. We went in to change our delivery date (and compare discounts) about a week later and all of this was a smooth process. The delivery team was efficient (and polite), but definitely not careful in our home. I was worried a light fixture was going to fall off the ceiling because of the way they shoved the mattress through the landing and bumped the fixture, and I noticed part of the bedroom door was chipped after the delivery too. At delivery, they do not set up the bed, but luckily even handyman-challenged individuals shouldn't have difficulty putting a frame together. If I were to buy another mattress, I probably would go back here because the prices and salespeople are so good. However, I think I would do all I could to have the delivery people in as little of my home as possible to avoid damage. read more

About 4 years ago I was mattress shopping and came into this location and remembered how helpful the service was, regretfully at the time I didn't end up purchasing a mattress from them but I always remembered the selection they had and how nice and informational the guys were here. Flash forward to 4 years later...my friend just moved to the area and needed a bed we stopped at a place prior to the Mattress Depot and they just give you the whole sh-peal (I hate that, it reminds me of a used car lot) anyways, I remembered my great experience here and took my friend here, he's a guy and was just wanting a simple, no frills mattress. Andy helped us out, he's extremely personable and comes across as someone you've known for years (I love that in a sales person) we were literally in and out the door (with mattress attached to roof) in less than 12 minutes! The following week, my other friend needed a mattress and because of the amazing experience I had had the week before I referred her to go see Andy, exact same pleasent experience and we were out in the same amount of time! I can't say enough positive things about Mattress Depot and the team they have here, they made mattress shopping fun, quick and easy and now both my friends sleep soundly and are extremely happy with their purchase! We have been buying mattresses from them for years because their price are reasonable and the high rise is great if you move a lot, but our recent purchase of their cheapest mattresses smells bad so I let them air out for 2 month, still not getting rid of the smell, when I bring them back today Dough was the guy who works there but he has really bad attitude and keeps rolling his eyes and threaten me if I have one more question he's not going to help me, then I have to come back and find who ever sold me those mattresses, he did admit the smell was really bad and those are for people who don't have money! And scoffed and wowed a bunch of times when I was making sure the amount was right and I want his name and a signature. Terrible attitude a sales person should have. We happened to chance on this mattress stores looking for a boxspring and bed frame. Kenn was very helpful from the moment we walked in - he gave us useful pointers on what we were interested in. A no point did he try to sell us on something we didn't ask for. He helped us load up the boxspring onto the top of our car (well actually, he did the whole thing because we clearly didn't know what we were doing!), and even gave tips on that process too! Tried to tip him after that, and he wouldn't accept it - talk about being committed to good service! The staff at the store was very knowledgeable about mattresses and the accessories. They were low pressure. There prices were very competitive. They were able to schedule delivery in two days. The delivery people texted me the day before delivery about the time range of delivery the next day. They showed up within that time range. The delivery people were cordial. That were quick in setting up the frame and placing the mattress. When done they showed me how to use the remote control to tilt the bed frame. Doug, who I believe may be the store manager, helped us last Saturday. He asked about our budget and once we told him what we were looking for, he never tried to up-sell us on something else. We found a really great, comfy mattress within our price range and have delivery scheduled for this Sunday. I can't say enough good things about this place.
