I have always purchased my beds at issaquah mattress firm. but after being treated horribly by one of their sales gals two weeks ago, I reached out to find an old familiar face who had transferred to another mattress firm in Bellevue. she has a track record of meeting my needs and restored my faith in mattress firm. I would steer away from the issaquah mattress firm store, after receiving half my order in a delivery, they refused to fix an order they had mistakenly made, then proceeded to blame me for the order and argued endlessly, refusing to fix order to a reasonable customers expectation. It was OK in the end. But the whole experience wasn't much fun. For instance, we bought a new Foster & Stearn's King mattress that arrived with two highly-visible stains on top. So we refused delivery. And then we got the complete run-around. I had to call the store multiple times to get help. And we had to wait--more than two days. We finally got a good mattress. The delivery team was exceptional. But the sales team (and customer service) should make things right immediately when there is a problem. They don't seem concerned about taking care of the customer here--perhaps they are just too big as a company to care about you individually. I would probably shop somewhere else next time. read more

We purchased a mattress here in January. The salesman Freddie was great, was patient with all our questions, and provided a lot of honest information about the mattresses. We were told our mattress would arrive in one week. On the delivery day, no one arrived. We called the store and were told that the factory didn't have the mattress and that it wouldn't be delivered for another two weeks. This was disappointing due to the delay of course, but also because as customers, we should not have be calling Mattress Firm to inquire about the delay in the first place. Mattress Firm needs to improve their communication with customers. The mattress ended up being delivered one week later and they did call us to confirm the delivery. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. This store steals from its customers. And when confronted Sonny will call the police on you! They will absolutely take advantage of you if you have any form of accent or are female. It's literally been months since I've requested a refund for a mattress I didn't even receive and have had nothing but issues getting anyone to talk to me, let alone process my refund. Purchased a mattress from here on Saturday and received it on Sunday. It's super close to where we live which we love. The salesperson was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I believe his name was Tyler. It does take about an hour to do a thorough mattress testing and purchase but the day was hot, they had air conditioning and nice music so we were happy. The mattresses are not cheap, so be prepared to spend some dough. (They do, however, have interest free financing.) Feeling less pain and stiffness now and getting better sleep. What more could you want? Worth every penny. read more

I purchased a World Class Beauty Rest from this company many years ago. Unfortunately, the mattress was introduced to some nasty flooding and is no longer with us. Both mattress and company have served me well so I went back to purchase 2 more (spare bed room). Both Tyler and Melissa were amazing in their customer service and knowledge. They guided us enough for us to figure out what WE needed...not what benefited them the most. They were professional, respectful, and kept the experience light hearted when moments were right. The associate, Russell, knew the products extremely well and explained the features, benefits and alternatives. Too often in retail these days, you get the felling that as a customer you are interrupting the sales associates day. I bought a full-size mattress for my 11-year old son today at the Crossroads Sleep Country. Tyler Smith was the sales associate who helped us out. I had a lower price point that I was looking at and Tyler showered me several options. I had also shopped at Ikea and thought that Sleep Country would be too expensive. However, Tyler was really helpful and very knowledgeable. I ended up getting a mattress, box spring and metal headboard (metal frame was included for free). Delivery and setup is also included in the price and they will be bringing it over tomorrow. All in all, I was super impressed with Tyler and the products at Sleep Country. Tyler didn't try to up-sell us or put any pressure on us. He just explained everything in a clear and friendly matter and I was able to get what should be a really good mattress to last my son through his teenage years. I will definitely go back there when it is time for my husband and myself to replace our own mattress. read more

Freddie the manager of this store is incredibly nice. I purchased (or tried to) buy their memory foam King mattress. The Nadia, which is a firmer memory foam model. Also bought the Leggit and Platt adjustable base, one pillow and their mattress protecter. After the transaction was completed, Freddie noted via his computer the first delivery date would be in 2 weeks. Odd, as with most mattress sales, usually delivery is next day. So, ok. I was not happy but will wait the 2 weeks. Delivery is offered from 9a.m.-6p.m and you do not know the 2 hour window until the night before delivery. Not easy for those of us who are self employed and make our schedule a week out. I was told the day before I will not receive my mattress. No one knew why at that time. As my work day was canceled to be available for this delivery, I had them deliver my adjustable base and 2 other products so my day off work would not be a total loss. Freddie rescheduled delivery for 2 weeks and once again I took the day off of work and the day before delivery, I learned once again, late afternoon after I called the store, NO mattress. I contacted Simmons (Atlanta) who reached out to Mattress Firm, Corporate and my issue was sent to their customer care and I got a case number. Never received any call or email from customer (we don't care) service department. I had to do all the legwork trying to get to the bottom of the issue. Decided to start looking at tempurpedic and was going to cancel my purchase at Mattress Firm. Long story short ended up talking with Freddie's area manager who offered a discount if I would hang with them. So, I canceled my original Mattress Firm mattress order and re-purchased the same mattress with the discount, through another Bellevue store (Bellevue Way) which is the store this area manager managed. It is now 10 days and although the refund on my original order of over $4800.00 was approved, NO refund back to my credit card has been issued. It is now Sept. 10th and I am still waiting to see that refund. Nice of them to hold on to about $9000.00 of my money between the original purchase and re-purchase. Back to the main issue, I learned there was a shortage of material for this particular mattress, contacted Simmons again and they did not care about the delay, now were just upset I knew the reason why there was a delay. So, it ended up as corporate finger pointing and not giving a whit about the customer. The area manager/store manager rescheduled the delivery for Sat. Sept 9th. The area manager/store manager promised she would call me on Sept. 8th to confirm it was going to be delivered or let me know if it was not. Never heard from her so I called the Bellevue Way store and spoke with Spencer who stepped up, called the warehouse and told me the delivery "may" happen as scheduled. Very nice sales person. I will say, the area manager/store manager did issue the discount due to this lengthy delay which I appreciated. I was skeptical about the new delivery date since I have been lied to or strung along for 5 weeks. Lo and Behold, Spencer called me late afternoon on Friday and told me I would actually finally get my mattress and it was delivered yesterday. Jeff, the gentleman who was part of the delivery team could not have been nicer and was incredibly professional. All they needed to do was take out my old mattress and bring in the new one but he checked my remotes and made sure everything was in order. Thank you, Jeff. So, my suggestion is if you want this memory foam mattress in a King make sure the delivery can actually happen in your lifetime before you hand over $4800 (tax) of your money. I was told there was a problem with the Cal King size as well as the regular King mattress and it was a nationwide problem, not just the Seattle area. Also, ask your sales person how long it takes for a refund should you not like a product that can be returned. Bases and pillows cannot be returned. As my transaction was a credit card and not a debit card, I was told 3-5 days to see that refund. Another lie, not by the sales person but how it is handled by the accounting department. Try to get ahold of customer service outside of your sales person and good luck. You will not get through. They make it difficult to impossible. I am hopeful your experience with the company has been or will be better than mine. Again, the sales people and delivery guys were wonderful. read more
