We ordered a California King split head adjustable bed over a year ago from Sleep Number. Sales…read moreperson at the South County location was awesome; great in store service. I call it the Cadillac" bed because of the size, features and COST. Sleep Number beds are very expensive. Heck, our sheets now cost close to $200 a set. Good bye TJ Maxx, JCP and Tuesday Morning sheet bargains. To adjust the bed, it requires the Sleep Number phone app. The night bed was delivered and set up, app didn't work. Sleep Number shipped a remote to us overnight (which is what we'd requested in the first place but told would be an upcharge). The bed is supposed to automatically adjust to the individual when they change sleep positions. Like you see on the commercials, right? The "Cadillac" has stopped this feature. Hubby underwent knee replacement surgery a few months afterwards. The bed was a great benefit since it assisted him with keeping his leg elevated. With him being bedridden, noticed that the inflation within the mattress on his side totally deflated. No matter what level we corrected it to, it deflated. Flat-like a flat tire. Called Customer Service and they instructed him (the postoperative patient) over the phone "a fix". Didn't work. Made an appointment for service crew to repair the inflation tubing that had come undone. We were charged over $200 for that repair. Our bed was beyond the "warranty". The bed was not even a year old?? Sleep Number, this is sooo very disappointing. We purchased a luxury model bed and have been receiving economy level service. I would not recommend anyone make such a large investment with Sleep Number. I think we got a lemon!

We were pleasantly surprised that they had a queen-sized Sealy Hybrid plush for half the online price with one small black spot on the side, which was disclosed prior to purchase. The spot did not bother us, and we were thrilled to learn they could deliver same day ( maybe because it was on the weekend?) and would get a discount for providing 1 person to assist delivery driver with removing our old mattress and installing the new one.
