We purchased a couch from them last September. It has a rip on the seam so. I called them to find out my options. I was told I didn't purchase a protection plan (which was never offered); however, there's a one year manufacture warranty on the item. This is a 3 piece sectional mind you. I then went to the website the same day and filled out the ticket (or whatever they call it) and sent pictures. We closed on our house on September 13th last year and the furniture was delivered on the 18th. I made this claim on the 3rd of September. When contacted by Will via email he told me the item was past the one year warranty, it was not. after me sending proof of the purchase and delivery dates he did not email me back. His number was on the bottom of the first email so I called and left a message with no response. I then called again 2 days later, giving him the option to return my call and he answers. At this point the unprofessionalism truly kicks in. He was not only rude by cutting me off every time i tried to speak, he also argued with me that tje item was more then a year old. He told .e he would contact Ashley furniture and let me know what they said. No joke today UPS drops off material on the front porch of my house for ME to reupholster the caise myself?!? If anybody out there is honestly trying to buy great quality furniture at true clearance costs, its time to end that quest! You've found it here in the heart of St.Charles county and the furniture outlet is locally owned. My wife and I have been here multiple times and each time has never been a disappointment. The deals are just fantastic! There's nothing fancy here as this is how they save you money. By that I mean, there isn't fancy walls and demo bed and living rooms. The product is up front and there's no b.s. The sales team is casual and professional... It's comforting. I feel like we're on the same level. I really like how this place is locally owned. It's very important to support our communities local businesses. It stimulates the local economy, you get better deals, it's personable, and the American thing to do! Yesterday, I got the best deal ever! My wife and two kids stroll up to the front door and are let in by the owner. Who by the way is a real great guy. He's asks if he can assist, I say I want a couch. Leads me to the couches, I see the one I like. He says, let's make something work. I make an offer. He pauses for thought, extends his hand and says you got a deal. I buy it on the spot, and walk out the owner of an awesome modern sectional sofa all in about the span of 15 minutes. It was super easy, and hassle free. The best part, after 5 min of leaving, the owner calls to see if I want a better deal and asks if I'd like the sofa delivered to my home in the next 30 min! Free of charge! It made my day and my overall experience much better. Now don't go expecting deliveries to always be free... That was just a great incentive to come back for more. Our experience with Midwest Clearance Center was terrible. My wife and I are not going to buy another peice of Ashley's furniture or shop here again! We originally bought a bedroom set in Dec 2020 and was given an estimated delivery date of the end of January. This was understandable since Ashley's was way behind on furniture orders due to having to shut down earlier in 2020 due to COVID. We didn't hear anything until a few days before our items were scheduled to arrive. I had to call and ask if everything was received and I was told that the items are going to be late. Some of the items were coming in a few weeks late and the bed set wasn't going to be in until the END OF MARCH, basically 2 months later than anticipated. I told them I wasn't happy waiting that long and that was that. There was nothing they could do, Ashley's wasn't doing their part. After finally getting our furniture in March, we noticed that 2 drawers on the dresser were messed up. They wouldn't shut correctly. I created a service ticket and received a call from Mark, one of the owners. Mark ordered 2 new drawers from Ashley's and that took another 2 months to be shipped to our house. After that, we had 2 separate service calls happen where they couldn't figure out the problem, it wasn't the drawers. Eventually, they said that the dresser is twisted and we needed a new one. A brand new one from Ashley's came in a few weeks this time. This week our new dresser was delivered. There are 2 drawers that wouldn't shut correctly and were all wobbly. The screws holding the drawer glides in were STRIPPED, so the drawer glides would wobble all around when you tried to open/close it. I don't even get how Ashley's could ship this out. I called Midwest's service department and the guy said they hand-checked the dresser for problems. I don't know how anyone could miss that the 2 drawers wouldn't open/close correctly. It was going to be another week to get service guys out there. They were ready to order another dresser from Ashley's. That'd be another month of waiting and it'd likely have different problems! Finally, I went to Lowe's and bought some wood and replaced the wood supports that hold the drawer glides. It took a total of 9 months to get all our order handled correctly. And even with that, I had to end up fixing the dresser myself because I was sick of waiting! I had to keep calling them constantly throughout just to get updates. I felt like no one had a clue what was going on. I would NOT recommend you buy your furniture from here. If you want to buy Ashley's, go to the million other places that sell Ashley's. However, I would just say stay away from Ashley's in general. It may look nice, but it's cheap, crappy furniture underneath. read more

Bought a mattress. No sleep guarantees like other sellers. However the mattress we bought which was fairly expensive started to buckle two months after purchase. Called the district manager and he said sure we can help. So I was good then he suddenly disappeared. So I was left a crappy mattress. Ordered over 2,000.00 in furniture and was told an estimated delivery date of the 5th (also were told it could change, understandable). The 5th came and went and we received no communication. We Called and were told the couch would be pushed back to January. We called again and spoke to the original sales person and was told that was incorrect and there was a mix up it would probably be delivered by the November 20th. We just called again to verify and get an update. Now the couch is once again pushed to January 30th 2021. So we went with another color of the couch that is "in stock" but can't get a delivery date. So who knows. Horrible customer service. I understand covid has complicated shipments and can cause delays. But the lack of communication from the company is not acceptable. Very helpful sales staff. Went to Fairview Heights, Illinois location. I came in knowing what I wanted, and the sales staff was very accommodating. As stated in other reviews, this place is not fancy. But you can get the same product for much cheaper here if you don't mind waiting a week or two to receive your furniture. I reviewed their website prices and didn't even really push the sales staff and he gave me a $30 lower quote than the website on a $500 loveseat. I wasn't expecting more than a 10% drop, so that was really nice. I'll be returning as I hunt for a kitchen table! read more

I recently went into the st louis outlet malls looking to pay on my layaway at Wholesale Mattress and I thought WMC had moved to a bigger better location in the mall. I went in and was disappointed not to see Bryan who always is friendly and helpful. I was greeted and told I needed to pay on my layaway. The salesman was about to take my money when I looked out the door and saw Bryan walking into there store down the hall. I took my money back from the salesperson and told him he should be ashamed. This place is one of the coolest furniture stores around. They have a very anti-rip you off vibe. The owner spent personal time with me and helped me find exactly what I needed for my new place. At one time he had three people on their computers trying to find the exact entertainment center I wanted. When they found it he offered to get it for me for half of what another company was selling it for. They can order anything you've seen at another big name store for way less. If you don't mind driving out of your way (only about 5 minutes off hwy 79) this place is so worth it. Their customer service and professionalism can't be beat! read more

Ok now that I have my furniture I can finally leave an honest review. Buying our sectional was very easy we were in and out really quick. When we bought it she told us 2 pieces would be ready right away and the third would take a week. That's fine. Week passed and we called and dates got pushed back a month, this happened over and over til we finally got two parts of our couches in April, when we were supposed to get them in February. Then I called about the third they said it will load on a truck and be at the store that week, great, called on the day to pickup someone told me they didn't have it and it wouldn't come til late July. So now it's late July and I FINALLY got all my pieces. The customer service with orders is severely lacking. I didn't get any updates at all unless I was the one calling. But when my last piece was ready someone called me everyday to let me know, why didn't that happen when my order kept getting pushed back?? Also when I got frustrated on the phone a lady told me that I should b grateful because they have some people waiting a year still for their furniture, and they can't spend their time calling all the customers to tell them that their orders have been pushed back. What?? They seriously need to change. Good prices if you want to wait 5 months for your furniture. Not worth it in my opinion. read more

We were extremely please we found MCC when purchasing our new bedroom furniture. We had found a similar design set at a famous name brand furniture store and the price was much higher. We got exactly what we wanted, at MCC, with excellent quality, and helpful employees. Also get the delivery and set up beside those guys were great as well. I would highly recommend checking them out. Do not be put off by the name, or the showroom... It's not a fancy furniture showroom. It is more like the inside of a warehouse- but that is ok. Went here back in 2017 to buy furniture for my 1st house. Being in a budget that had some decent priced furniture so I bought a couch and a bed room set. Bought the warranty as well. Upon delivery the moving guys handed me a paper to sign saying the weren't responsible for any damages they do to the house. I figured these guys were professional so sure I'll sign it. First piece they brought in they broke the glass covering to a light fixture in my hallway. They guy called his boss in speaker told him what happened and the boss responded "well are they mad about it". Ibtokd the guys I wasn't happy but it what ever and their boss responded well don't worry about it. I don't think he realized he was on speaker. These guys claim they have Ashley style furniture but doesn't feel like it. After a year the paint started fading off my dresser and night stand and I don't abuse my furniture. When I bought my couch the guy explain the warranty covers pretty much everything. Wear and tear, pet scratches, even told me I can cut my own couch before the warranty is up and I could get a new one. Come to today I go to look at my warranty and read it and it doesn't cover shit. That's guys are scam artist who sell shitty furniture that falls off a truck and shitty warranties. I hope enough people read these and they shut down. read more

It brings me great regret that I have to write this review. I've dealt with this company on numerous occasions in the past and I typically had great things to report. I've sent them more business than they even know. However I am extremely disappointed with the customer service on my most recent purchase. Not sure if it's different management or what. I bought a table a chair back in August. I received them at the beginning of October (COVID). No problem there. The problem is that I was sent the wrong base for my chairs. I contacted them immediately and have yet to have any resolution. I have had to repeatedly follow on progress when all they needed to do 3 weeks ago was order a new set of chairs. Just as recent as yesterday, I contacted them for the status, yet again, was promised a call back within 20-30 minutes. Whelp. I'm writing this review because I heard nothing. I'm ready to take their merchandise back and black ball then from any more referrals and business from myself and everyone that I know. What horrible service! read more

I was in the market to buy a single seat rocking recliner and thought to check out in midwest clearance center in St.Peters based on the reviews in google. But I was completely disappointed and the store does not even deserve 1 star! When I entered the store, there was a sales person (sorry, don't know his name as he never introduced himself) who was sitting/lying on a recliner sofa with his legs stretched and even though he saw me he completely ignored me! He did not even have the courtesy to wish the customer or check if I was looking for something specific.. I approached him and told him that I was interested to buy a recliner and asked him where I can find them? He pointed me in a direction still lying on the recliner and told me to come back after I decide on something. I looked for couple of recliners and could not find the price tag on any of them and went to the same sales person to check if he can help to let me know the price. He was very arrogant and rude in his reply and told me he will let me know the price only If I have decided on something. How can anybody decide without knowing the price? I also asked him if there are any deals or discounts going on and he gave an analogy of grocery store and sarcastically asked me If I buy Ham in grocery store, will I go ask for deals or discounts?! I hope this review reaches the owner of the store and I can let him know/describe who that sales person was as just because of him, the entire store will get a bad name! Or who knows he himself could be the owner of the store! I would not recommend this store to anybody just because of the unprofessional behavior of the sales person! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The entire experience has been a nightmare. We financed over $4000 with them to fill our new home with furniture back in July. Among other issues, they told us the furniture would be delivered in 2 weeks. A month later & it finally got delivered, with the master bed having a crack running through the foot board. Every time we call the office we get the run around. Our salesperson, Ann, is one of the most rudest people I've ever had to deal with. Condescending & short. Doesn't give us proper information & then when things go wrong, she says she does to cover her butt. She tried upselling my boyfriend a bed that wouldn't fit for our space, while under the impression it was a twin. She even ordered a twin mattress to go with it....& when I did further research into it, I found out it was actually a full! When I called back (the very next day) to tell her we don't want that bed we want the original bed & that a full won't fit in the room, her entire tone changed & she even charged us a $150 restocking fee!!!!!!!! I bought a mattress from them in 2014 & never had an issue, but after this I will never do business with them again, and will tell everyone I possibly can to avoid them at all costs! read more

The display room is nothing fancy, but they can order the same brands of furniture that you can buy at other fancier (overpriced) stores. The furniture they sell you is brand new and not damaged goods. Gabe was extremely helpful in answering my texts inquiries, to price pieces when I found furniture online or in other stores. He will give you an honest, low price without haggling. Since we bought several rooms of furniture, he discounted the price even more than he had quoted. Our delivery went smoothly. The prices here are great. However, beware that it may take a while to receive your furniture. My husband and I purchased a sectional sofa about 2.5 weeks ago, and we still haven't received our sofa. We were told that the sofa would be delivered within 10-14 days. When I called again this morning to check on the status, I was told that the sofa won't be here for another week...making it a total of 4-week wait time, which is beyond ridiculous. I'm sure we'll be satisfied with the sofa once it arrives, but waiting twice the amount of time we were promised is frustrating. After spending $1600 We received a damaged couch and kitchen table with a gash in the top. Delivery people were two hours late after I had already been waiting for the 2 hour time frame they were supposed to show up in. The careless delivery staff was rough with the furniture banging in on the sides of my door and then damaged my coffee table taking a huge chip out of the wood. I don't feel the situation was properly handled. I demanded my delivery charge to be refunded for ruining my coffee table even thought that didn't cover what I paid for my coffee table...They did refund that. My couch had numerous tears and they refused to replace it, they just ordered a bunch of replacement panels. After weeks those arrived. Repair man only replaced two panels and used glue on the other spot "because it wasn't a big enough tear worth fixing". By now I'm so over this place...seriously ???! I spent over $1600 I expect my items to be in PERFECT CONDITION. They never did anything about my kitchen table the repair man said he would "bring a marker" which he didn't. Again they should have just replaced my damaged table. Sales man Cole who sold to us was unprofessional and was cursing multiple times to my fiancé and I because a two year old was sitting on a mattress in the store before he yelled at her to get off.
