I was having a lot of trouble dealing with a headboard that did not work with a mattress I already had that was not returnable. Allen and Chris were extremely helpful and able to get me what I needed to make my headboard and mattress work. I bought a boxspring, bed frame, and modi plate from them, they were not pressuring to buy me anything I didn't need to buy which is always my fear going into a mattress store. I will def. go back when I am in need of a new bed. Also, I loved that they all wore masks, and even had a sanitize station with masks right in the doorway before you entered. read more

I bought and paid for a mattress last week set up a delivery time, and they sent me an email the day before delivery with a 2 hr window from 1:15 to 3:15. I stayed at home until about 3, then called the store to say that I really needed to leave to go to work by 3:15. They checked the status of the delivery and told me it was going to be late, I said I could wait until 3:30 but I really had to leave. I left at 3:30 and put a not on the door, that because I waited 2 hrs plus, that I had to leave, I got a call at 3:45is from the driver who had finally made it to my house 1/2 hr after the cut off time, so I told them to just take the mattress back. If you give people a 2 hr window and they sit around waiting and you don't show up, that is disrespectful of your customers time. I have no idea if the mattress is good or not, I never got it and have asked for my money back. read more

Horrible experience. I bought a floor model bed but they delivered a different matress from the warehouse. Filthy and covered in stains. Once corrected, the delivery team refused to mount the headboard even though I paid for "platinum service" and bought the headboard from Mattress Firm. In addition the manager contracted Covid and the store was closed for cleaning. When I inquired, I was told the manager Chris was on "vacation" No information was shared about customer exposure or contact tracing . I spent $2,100 and ended up feeling hoodwinked. I heard several commercials on the radio and saw a billboard for Sleepy's, so we put it on the top of our list when we headed out to shop for a new bed. This activity ranks right up there with shopping for a car, with past experience of bait and switch and high pressure closing. Our experience at Sleepy's couldn't be any different. Our salesperson, John, was very professional and stated he was there to help educate us, which he did. We tried several beds and pillows and finally we selected what worked best for us. The bed arrived the next morning and Fernando and Richard did a very thorough job of explaining everything after the installation. We got an electronic base, which required a bit of education. We felt we were SOLD SOLD SOLD on FEATURES and SERVICE, but we were sorely disappointed. Let it suffice to say, that they up-sold us on a better mattress and motorized frame and when finally delivered did NOT fit our frame appropriately (salesperson Jackie - in our particular experience and opinion she is smooth salesperson, but does NOT really seem to know the product well enough - our experience was that she is polished but woefully underpowered on what mattress and fittings will work in your particular situation). After the delivery people literally stuffed the mechanical bed system into our frame, the frame was too low, and not supported correctly, while the delivery guys (3rd party, NOT affiliated with bed company!) admitted that this "happens a lot, the sales people never know what happens or how the product does or doesn't fit" as they stated. The store offered to install higher legs and shipped them to us and then never installed, they said "we had waited too long", although in our experience they are difficult to contact, communicate with and get results. It seems to us that once they sold us on the bed and frame etc. they didn't want to know us. There are a lot of reputable places to buy mattresses and frames out there, now we wish we had chosen another. Salesperson represented that she had been there a long time, but after the fact we got the impression that she was transient, like a lot fly by night organizations in the storefront strip mall bed business... It's difficult when you feel like there is no "care" after the sale. Very, very disappointing and frustrating. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I will try to make this relatively short but either way, you will want to read this. The reason I gave this one star is because the sales person Wayne gave excellent service as other reviewers have indicated. He also gave us a huge discount which I'll talk about later. My husband and I purchased a Tempurpedic. When we received our bed, it was very, I mean very soft, like it was already broken in. This was vastly different from the bed in the store, that should clearly have more wear than our brand new bed. We thought maybe our bodies needed to adjust so we waited a couple of weeks. By then, my husband was sleeping in the spare room because the bed was absolutely killing his back. We returned to Sleepy's and was advised that we had to wait at leastl 30 days for a comfort exchange. We tried to cope with this bed but to no avail. We began researching the different Tempurpedic beds, reviews, etc. We wanted to try a firmer model Tempurpedic but no one carried it. Wayne said he was willing to check with competitors to see if they carried the model. In he meantime, we went to an actual Tempupedic store and tested beds. These beds felt amazing! Nothing like what we had a home or tried at Sleepys....not even close. Tempurpedic informed us that the beds have been in the store for almost a year and receive tons of traffic being in a busy mall, so they are just about as broken in as they were gonna get. We began to wonder if we even had a Tempurpedic at home. The Temp. rep also said that their prices are static across the board and retailers are not to make any price adjustments. He said that if we received a discount, then the salesman must have been willing to use part of his commission to make up the difference. After speaking with the Tempurpedic reps over the next week, we were convinced that something was definitely wrong with our bed. We began to wonder if the bed had been used or damaged. We unzipped the cover that it came in to examine the mattress. The reps told us what to look for if the mattress is new or old and has been exposed to elements. Sure enough, the mattress had all the markings of an old worn out mattress. The top was fully yellow and the entire surface was cracked with tiny holes all over! Good and broken in before we even got it! We were (still are) repulsed. We took pics and brought them to Wayne and told him we knew the bed had been used. We politely requested a full refund and told them to pick up their used mattress and we will not be paying a $175 return fee. He obliged. Not only did he oblige but so did management, billing, and everyone without question! No one seemed at all surprised! No one denied it either. It was like, "Ok, ok, you caught us." As a matter of fact, when the delivery guys came to pick it up, they simply chuckled like it was an inside joke when we told them that they sold us a used bed. They actually re-wrapped the bed in plastic, the same type that ours arrived in (which should've been a Tempurpedic box). Now, we know how they were able to give us a 25% discount.
