You go into the store, see the styles of desks, bed, tables, chairs, etc. you like, and work with the store personnel to look at fabrics and types of wood etc. They use a wide range of hard woods. They pull up a price and give you an estimate of when the furniture will be ready. It is Amish handcrafted throughout a number of states. The quality and workmanship is excellent. Wait is usually 2 to 3 months on larger items. The products come ready to place...meaning that they are made and stained to the particular style you requested . You can either go to the store and pick up or have them deliver for a price. I've been there 3 times to purchase items over the past 2 years. While I was there, there were people who drove a considerable distance to purchase furniture from them and they were mostly repeat customers. This is not particle board wood nor is it mass produced furniture from China. It will not be WalMart or Target prices. It will be on the pricier side but not higher than what you would normally pay for solid hard wood furniture.

Have to go down two sets of steps to get to the door, then back up stairs to the main level... overall I think we climbed up and down six sets of stairs, and we didn't even go to the highest level of the building! And this is using a cane: I think if you had a wheelchair you'd be out of luck, unless there is a hidden elevator somewhere. Their stock really hasn't changed much in a long time, so I guess between that and the fact that I can't get around the shop easily this just isn't the place for me.

His wood was crawling with bugs. Adam kiln dries his wood to ensure that all bugs are removed and the wood is ready for use. I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for... His wood is beautiful and he goes out of his way to get you whatever you need. He will also make furniture or whatever you'd like and has a great eye for design. His wood floors and furniture are incredible. No, I am not related to Adam - He and his guys are just really that good.
