My bedding delivery was awesome! However, within 90 days of purchase, the mattress began sagging in the middle so badly, I have to sleep with a pillow in the divot! I filled out the warranty on the website, had to take bed apart to take required pictures since they had no one to come to my house and assess. I'm not as young as I once was. Well, I waited and waited to be contacted with nothing.. no call, no voicemail, no email, for 30 days. Now I log back into my account and it shows 'Determination made' but doesn't show what it is. Again no communication with me. I will NEVER ever order from Mattress Firm again! When I am able to purchase a real mattresses, I will go anywhere else. This mattress sleeps like belongs in a flop house! FYI, placed warranty after 90 days, warranty advertised for 120 days! read more

I like easy. Do you like easy? I like to go to a store, find what I want, pay for it, and leave with it. Price isn't always the determining factor, but I'll rarely buy anything at any price if I know going into it that it'll be a hassle. So, I write this review for those who are too busy for (or just don't appreciate) a "hassle" The shopping experience was OK. There were only a couple other people in the store and only a single salesperson on this weekend day. She was assisting another customer, but did break free long enough to tell us to look around and explained a bit about the way the store is organized. I was fine with a little wait since we wanted to look around a bit anyway. Shortly after we came in another couple with kids followed and did quite a bit of yelling and bed jumping, but not the store or salesperson'f fault. At any rate, we had long since picked out our mattress by the time the associate was free. But, I figured it was all downhill from there. I was right. It went downhill. As we sat down with the sale associate after having told her what we were interested in, she started in on her sales pitch. It was shortly after President's Day and she literally told us she was going to give us a deal that she's "Not supposed to". Why? I thought. I mean, I hadn't ask for a special deal. I hadn't even gotten to the negotiations on price yet? I supposed she just liked my shoes and accepted the "just for you" price. We were told it would be 3 weeks for delivery, which I also accepted but looked forward to with great anticipation. As 3 weeks passed and my scheduled delivery date neared, I thought it good to give a call to make sure all was still on schedule. I called and gave my name and was quickly assured we were still all set for delivery that day. I was a little surprised that she knew my last name and delivery date off the top of her head, but figured that my shoes had make such an impact on her when we were in that it stuck with her. I proceeded to let my supervisor know that I'd be taking off early to go meet my new mattress. Ring Ring. "Sorry, the base didn't make the truck" and immediately into "Salesperson cover your ass" mode. Just the longest stream of excuses rolling out of her mouth faster than I could even question her about them. Oh they don't know what's on the truck, the bases are so popular and comfortable they're sold out everywhere blah blah blah. I found this odd, too, since she had told me not 30 minutes earlier that we were all set. Fine. "How long?" "2 Weeks". "Fine... I'll wait..." I'll bet by now that you already know the base didn't arrive 2 weeks later. It didn't arrive 3 weeks after that either. After 8 weeks of "re-scheduled" deliveries, I finally cancelled the base altogether. The mattress had been delivered on the 2nd re-scheduled delivery date, so I made other arrangements for the base. Honestly, so happy I did too. I'll always remember this adventure and the trip into Mattress Firm in Montgomery that cool Spring day as my first.. and certainly last, visit ever. read more

If you are looking for a new mattress, stay away from this place! We stopped in on a Sunday and dealt with sales tactics that reminded me of a used car salesman from the 1980s. Everything is marketed like it's being given as a unique, special deal. I overlooked the irritating sales gimics because they do have a decent selection of mattresses, and it is nice that the products are color coded by firmness level. We decided on the most expensive mattress in the store, and also liked the most expensive adjustable base. With a $6600 price tag, I'd expect quality customer service. Instead, we were told that we would need to wait 3 weeks because the base was on back order. We heard the sales rep ramble on about the back order- it was because of their excellent sale prices, and how she was giving us the sales price when it didn't apply to a king size. Even so, we continued with the order. Our delivery date approaches, and we contact the store. Becca informs us that the delivery is still scheduled. Later the same day, she calls again to cancel delivery. The base is still not in. Her response "It'll be worth the wait"! 4 weeks after we ordered, the base is still not available. At this point, we request just the mattress and a refund on the base. It took two days and multiple calls with various employees to get a refund. If you want to plan ahead for a new mattress set, and not wait until your current set is uncomfortable, the service here would be fine. No one wants to wait for a product like this, so I suggest going elsewhere! read more

Came in to get a new mattress for my mother yesterday. The store was a little busy but Belinda was very attentive to all shoppers rotating around to help everyone with their questions and mattress preferences. Not only did she attend to everyone with a sense of urgency, she was friendly and personable enough to learn and remember every customers in the stores name. By the end of the trip, we got a GREAT deal on a mattress my mom was excited for. And it's getting delivered tomorrow for her, just two days after purchase. Next time I need to upgrade my own mattress I know where I'm going. read more

My girlfriend and I came in and were immediately greeted by Maggie, the manager, with a warm welcome. She went over all of our options, pulling numerous beds out for us to try and slinging them up onto the box springs. She advised us on some ways to save money, got us a free box spring for our California king also. Maggie was one of the most genuinely nice people that I have met in a while and was even very sweet with our 10 week old. read more

This store is horrible and the manager of the store Tim is even worse. He has terrible customer service skills and was totally rude when I called with questions. Besides being rude, he was very demeaning. I was told I should not expect help from the store on a warranty item because it was purchased 4 years ago. When I told him it was I lifetime warranty, he still said he could not help. He didn't offer my phone numbers or email addresses that might help me solve my problem. Instead he kept interrupting me and would not let me talk. I finally had to tell him to please stop and let me talk. I will never, ever purchase another product from this store. My wife and I worked with Rick to purchase a new king mattress. The organization and selection in the store is excellent with comfort levels and price points to meet the needs of any shopper. Rick was helpful, but not overbearing and helped us select the right mattress at an honest price without a lot of pressure for extras. I usually walk out off big purchases feeling uneasy- not this time. Even better... same day delivery on a Sunday! Will certainly be back for future purchases. read more
