Kudos to Juan, the store manager, for his professionalism and friendliness. He spent a great amount of time with my wife and me as we hopped from mattress to mattress. We had to return back to the store to finalize the mattress we wanted and ended up loving the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate but Juan wasn't at the store at that time. We were helped by Riley who stepped right up, answered our questions and made sure we had what we needed. We've been a customer of Mattress Firm before in year's past and they have always given us great service at great pricing. Juan made sure that the price we paid for our bed was right in line with the competition and even credited our delivery and setup fees to make sure we were happy and satisfied. You can purchase with confidence and you do have 120 days to determine if the mattress you received is right for you. Though they will take that mattress back and exchange it for a mattress that might be a better fit, you will have to pay a restocking fee. But, mattresses do not "break-in" until after maybe 60 days. The "new" mattress you receive will NOT feel like the one at the store which is pre-broken in for customers to try out. It's a small price to pay for a good night's rest though. I purchased a mattress from here and now has a large sinkhole in it and broken springs. Never have I ever had this happen.

I bought a mattress from Mattress Firm in February. By April, it developed a large sinkhole and bump. It was replaced with another mattress which has bedbugs. It was delivered on a Sunday. On Monday, I called the store I bought it from to inform them. I was told my call would be returned. It wasn't. On Tuesday, I went to the store to complain and to show the bedbug bites to them. Again, I was treated dismissively. I was told the manager would call me on Wednesday. I demanded the mattress be removed from my home immediately. I was told this could not be done.I spoke with another person from another store who said someone would call me in 24-48 hours. In the meantime, bedbugs are proliferating in my home. NEVER AGAIN with this company. Worst experience of my life. read more

Have you ever seen The Little Mermaid? For the purpose of this review, let's go ahead and say you have. (And if you haven't -- shame on you. Its like, the best movie ever and Ariel is totally the best Disney Princess. No debate necessary.) So, in the movie, Ariel is totally crushing on Prince Eric and after watching him longingly as he plays on the sea shore with his trusty dog, Max, she walks back into her room, entranced with adoration and love. Completely content, she hops into bed. Scratch that. She SINKS into her bed. It engulfs her. I've never seen someone look so comfortable. Ever. She is in love, y'all. And her bed is the comfiest. Romantically luxurious. So, seeing as though she is content in love and comfort, I knew that's the kind of bed I was on the lookout for. A MERMAID BED! Mattress Firm is like the Starbucks of the bedding realm -- there's one on every corner, so I knew I'd be comfortable exploring this place. The company has to be doing SOMETHING right. There are definitely a lot more mattress stores out there than I ever realized, but after doing some intense research between Mattress Firm, major department stores and local competitors, I also saw Mattress Firm is continuously named one of the top businesses to work for and can beat any competitive pricing. Knowing that, I knew the employees would be happy and well taken care of, which in turn, would indicate they'd make sure their customers are well taken care of, too. I was right. Andrew and Barrett at the Bee Caves location next to the World Market are the jam. I had no idea what I was looking for. And how was any self-respecting woman going to walk into a mattress store, full of plushy rectangles, and describe to the employees that I was looking for a bed fit for a mermaid? Regardless, I told Andrew I was looking for something soft and I blushed at the adjective, squishy, but he knew exactly where to direct me. He was patient and courteous. He gave me all the time in the world to try out the beds, which were sectioned by different comfort zones. Never once did I feel pressured to make a decision or go outside my budget. In fact, I got a stellar deal to boot. I opted for a Sealy Posturepedic Majesty. See? TOTALLY a bed fit for a princess! (Disclaimer: This was purely coincidental. I did not base my decision off of the name) Though it doesn't have the same cartoon effect of me flopping into bed with the mattress squshing around me (trust me, I've tried), its a comfortable bed and is exactly what I wanted. I would NEVER buy anything from Mattress Firm again. In my opinion their "120 Night Sleep Trial Guarantee" is a scam! We bought a mattress from them, they offered a base free with purchase. 90 days later we are not not happy with the quality of mattress so called for a refund within the period allowed for "full refund". I was told well the base is not returnable they will charge me $500 for that, that they will charge 20% restock fee and $95 pick up fee so the $1000 mattress purchase I would get a refund of $200, how is that not a scam. Buy form someone else with a real return policy not these Used Car Salespersons! read more

Two words: Sarah Priolo She is a sales manager we were lucky enough to talk to one weekend when we were interested in their YuMe Mattress (dual climate control bed). She worked up a fabulous offer. Even without the discount, we were blown away by her professionalism and friendliness. Her customer service is something to be modeled by any professional organization. I'll tell you why I'm so keen on her... Another sales agent involved made an error and flubbed up the order. It started to be a bit of a mess and started to get a little tense. She came back in and resolved everything instantly with a smile. I was very impressed with the way she brought calm to the situation, found the right thing to do and executed it on the spot. No complaints about the quality of the product, and the pricing was competitive. Service on the floor was border-line professional, but friendly. So we bought a new mattress for more than we've ever spent for one - and the after purchase service has been horrible. First they ordered and delivered the wrong head board brackets for the base we bought. The delivery drivers said this, but the salesman at the store said they were wrong, he had ordered the correct brackets, and scheduled another delivery team to come attach the headboard. 3 days later they arrived and told us again it was the wrong bracket set for the frame. The salesman didn't agree and said he would come install it himself. Guess what, he was wrong, it was the incorrect bracket. So he ordered the right set with a 2 day delivery promise. 2 days stretched to 7 days, with a promise to be here today by 4:45 pm latest. By 5:30 it took 3 calls to the store for them to find our order and track it down. Now we're told it will be delivered by 7:00 pm, which will hopefully happen, but has forced us to cancel dinner reservations we had. All of the good reviews here talk about how friendly the sales staff is - I'd take professional follow up service over friendly chatter anytime. read more
