Let me start by saying that the only reason I decided to go to this store is because of the great reviews even though there are so many other stores that sell tempurpedic matresses, offer the same or even more freebies as these guys. I have moved into my first new home & dint want the hassle of unsatisfactory customer service when I have hundred other things to take care of, so I chose this store. I ordered my mattress mid July, was promised a few accessories along with the mattress. The mattress protector was not delivered with the mattress, no one knew why. The $300 store credit I was promised was suddenly something I had to run around for. The store manager dint know what the sales person had promised. The sales person was never available in the store or on the phone. It took a few weeks to get a reply from her saying the mattress protector & the $300 store credit was ready to pick up at the store. When I went there to pick it up the manager was beyond rude & indifferent. His response to the cashier was "oh just give it to him". Excuse me? You are not "just giving" something to me! I have paid three thousand dollars to get everything I want!! I ordered a second sheet set with the store credit. Another mistake. First of all it took 2 weeks to be delivered. I got it today & its the wrong color! How hard is it to get a color right? I was very specific that I wanted a grey sheet set. The cashier ordered it right it front of me and told the manager that she couldn't select grey in the options. The manger said "he would change it later & she should just go ahead & put in white color". Clearly he dint change it later as I'm now stuck with white sheets. All this was on a weekday at noon when there was no other customer for the manager to take care of. I have no idea what he was so busy with that he couldn't cater to a customer who has spent thousands of dollars at his store. I have an infant & anyone with a baby will know how many times the sheets have to be changed. But I had to risk my new $3K mattress without a mattress protector or a second sheet set because of these guys. Its been more than 2 months since I first went there & its only been a colossal waste of my time & energy, and I still don't have what I want. Extremely disappointing. read more

The store has a convenient location, was very neat and organized, and has every possible chair and gadget for your back that you could imagine. Scott was very friendly, knowledgeable, and I never felt rushed or pressured into making a purchase. He made my sister and I feel right at home and was very helpful in answering all of our questions. After buying the lift chair for my mother, Scott was nice enough to inform us of the sales tax reimbursement we could receive if we got a Dr.s note prescribing the chair. I love the chairs that this store provides. I was disappointed that they didn't have the zero gravity patio chair their, but I understand once the guy explained why they don't have it in stock. He said that not a lot of people ask for it, even during the summer so for that reason they didn't see the need to be forced to buy in bulk for a rarely sold item. He said that if we bought it off-line and are not satisfied with it then he would buy it back from us for what we paid for it. read more

Stopped in to buy a cold pack for my husbands back and left with A plethora of products in mind to try out, if needed. the associates name is Bart and he was beyond helpful, not pushy and offered budget friendly solutions. Bart was educated about the muscle and skeletal components and knowledgeable about the products that would be most benificial for my husbands injury. He was kind to my 2.5 yr old side kick and even let him entertain himself with a stress ball while we looked at different products. I will definitely be back. I almost didn't go in, as I thought it would be out of my budget to shop for a mattress at Relax The Back. After all, I live in Bee Cave, Lakeway area of Austin where you can't throw a rock without hitting a mattress store. After going to a few of the local mattress shops I was shocked at how expensive everything was with no room for negotiations. I am so happy that I went to Relax The Back last. Not only did they beat the other area prices, the customer service & quality was far beyond what I experienced elsewhere. The two women employees working were so friendly and accommodating. I'm very happy with our mattress purchase! They also worked with us on holding our purchase delivery until we were ready with our new frame. 100% satisfied. I visited the Relax The Back store in the Hill Country Galleria several times over a period of three months while I was undergoing therapy at a nearby clinic. Scott Cameron was extremely helpful while I was evaluating car seat cushions, other seat cushions, zero gravity chairs and more. He took the time to understand my needs. He was not the least bit pushy in recommending products and he suggested products that would be best for me and they were not always the most expensive alternatives. Scott offered to let me try out the seat cushions in my truck outside to see which would be best for me. As it turns out, the cushion that I did purchase has helped me to eliminate pain while driving. A different cushion has worked very well for use in my home. I took a big interest in an expensive, mechanized zero gravity type chair and Scott did all he could to make the chair more affordable for me and he also responded to my concerns regarding warranty and in home service. I felt that we were working as a team to get the best result for me. Scott reduces risk by making it possible to return products if they fail to meet expectations. When it is time to purchase my zero gravity chair, I will do so at this store. It also helps that Scott points out opportunities to save using various incentives that may be available when you are shopping. He also will work with your doctor or therapist to help determine the best option for you. read more

I needed a zero gravity chair for my daughter who has a serious leg injury and will be living in a semi reclined position with her leg elevated for many weeks. I went to Relax the Back in Bee Caves to look at Tempurpedic beds. Scott, the manager, was amazing. He was so helpful in explaining to me the benefits of all the different mattresses while not being pushy. He was a wealth of knowledge about sleep in general and informed me of correct positions for best alignment etc. i learned a lot from him. He is passionate about his belief in their products and talked about everything with genuine passion. You don't see that often in the world today. While sleeping on the bed for a couple weeks, I decided a Tempurpedic was just not for me despite the fact it gets the highest ratings for customers happy with their bed (based on independent research I did).. It was not in any way related to anything related to Scott or Relax The Back. When I asked for a refund, Scott fulfilled his promises with the same professional manner in which he handled the sale. He treated me with ultimate respect and stepped up to their promises. I will definitely be back to shop for some of their other great products. I highly recommend them if you love Tempurpedic beds. We recently purchased new Temper-pedic beds from our local Relax the Back store in the Hill Country Galleria. The staff at the store were very helpful in making suggestions on the type of mattresses we needed. The delivery crew was fabulous and a continuation of the great service we received in the store. Brandon and Johnny took care in removing the old mattress and box springs, and used care in setting up the new beds. They were very knowledgeable in the operation of the bed bases and provided me with all pertinent serial numbers for a manufacturer's warranties. Both men shared examples of how I could altar my existing bed skirt since the new mattress used a movable base and lacks a box spring. It never occurred to me the options available. Both gentlemen were very polite and extremely respectful of my home. In today's climate, it's so refreshing to see customer service at its best.
