Mattress Firm is a well stocked store, which sells both high end Stearns & Foster with Tempur-Pedic® pillow tops, along with some more moderately priced Serta, Sealy, and Sleepy brands. We stopped here with our daughter who was shopping for a new mattress. The salesperson was both friendly as well as knowledgeable, and worked with us for nearly thirty minutes. I purchased a mattress at Mattress Firm at 74th Ave. and Bell Road. The mattress I selected was $1100, but was on sale for 50% off so I paid the 550.00. The set up fee plus the tax which came to approximately $934.00. The Mattress had early stages of sagging, so I went to the store in order to make a return and purchase a little better Mattress. The salesman told me that I would have to pay full price for another mattress because it was not on sale, The Mattress I found that would work for me was $1500. They would give me $450 credit and I would have to Pay an additional $650 plus tax, so my $550 mattress just went up to $1150. absolutely no consideration for the fact that I purchased the mattress at 50% off. Basically, if you can't find a mattress on sale, your return policy is totally irrelevant after looking on the comments on this site as well as Yelp and several others. Mattress Firm has a 2.5 out of five star rating with a lot of angry customers. Mattress Firm has found a way to keep the sham going for years, I would suggest going somewhere else to find a mattress that gives you a guarantee they will stand behind without penalizing you for returning it. read more

These guys seem to have a hard time telling the truth. We came into the store for a two inflatable mattresses. We were led to believe that they were in stock. After we went through the sale process they told us that they would be delivered to us within three days. After a failed FedEx delivery we were told that someone needed to be home to receive the mattresses. Really? For an inflatable mattress I need to stay home for work!!! Came in late Friday evening, I was greeted and instantly felt welcome in the store by Kyle. I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted or if I was going to buy a mattress but because of the customer service from Kyle is truly what what made me chose to purchase from this store. Kyle listened to what my wants were and helped me walk through the store to test out the mattress and went into detail about the different models and brands and pros/cons of both. He even showed me the hands on difference between tempreprdic models and how they've changed I've the years . If you are planning (or not planning) to get a mattress I would 100% recommend asking for Kyle. He's a family man , very easy to talk to , and very informative. My husband and I had been on a full size bed with our almost 2 year old for a while. Yikes! It was time for an upgrade. We went back in June and Jason was helping us out! He was so awesome! I'm picky yet indecisive and we hung around for probably and hour and a half while I just went back and forth laying on four different beds! Our daughter has a fun time trying them out too! Jason was so patient and truly the best kind of salesman, the kind that doesn't feel like a salesman and ACTUALLY wants what's best for you. He was even able to help another guest out while we were still bed hopping! We weren't planning on buying until the end of July so it was just a stop in a figure out what we want kind of a deal. With that, we settled on which bed we wanted, Jason got all our paperwork printed out so when we were ready we could come right back in and just ring it up! I think the fact that we didn't feel like we were being pressured into hurrying up and choosing a bed so we could purchase it that day really added to our experience. We were able to go through all our options and find something that really help us find a compromise between our two tastes in mattress firmness. We said our goodbyes, went home, and probably had the worst sleep of our lives. Seriously, a full size bed for two adult and a toddler was NOT IT. We marched our butts back in there and Jason was all ready to go! Made us go try it out again just to be sure. We had a few financial/system hurdles but Jason handled them like a champ! It's been a few months and we absolutely love our giant spacious bed perfect firmness for both of us. Our daughter would disagree though, it's not bouncy enough for her! Hahaha. In all seriousness, there was such a wide range of brands and mattresses to choose from and the costumer service was absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend shopping AND purchasing your next mattress from here! I really hope Jason is still around, or at least someone like him, next time we have to purchase a mattress! Went in and purchased 3 mattress and platforms, scheduled delivery. Delivery shows up and only has 2 of the 6 pieces I ordered. Drivers place two mattress on floor of new home we are moving into and say the rest is on backorder and leave. Not enough to sleep on with a disabled elderly grandmother and a pregnant woman. They had two weeks to get product in and tell us status. New product should be in in 7-10 days but seemed like the canned answer. So until this product gets in I have pregnant woman sleeping on floor and have to shuttle disabled grandmother to another home to sleep at since she can't sleep on floor. Absolutely ashamed of how we were treated. Manager Denise did try to give us a temp fix but not to our satisfaction. Go elsewhere. read more

I was going to wait until my bed was delivered before writing a review, but you know what? Good service should be recognized right away. I purchased a new bed, base, and pillow (all long overdue, just ask my spine) and Patsy was the one who took care of me. She was wonderful. We walked through everything, we talked, we laughed, she seriously treated me like royalty. That's above and beyond service. She really knows her stuff too, especially when it comes to Tempur-Pedic products! I'm not usually into Tempur-Pedics, but they had a couple of beds that I actually liked. Patsy is a great listener, and an even better saleswoman. I got lucky when I came in, because I was the first customer of the day and the only one inside at the time, so she had all the time in the world. Most places I go none of that seems to motivate a salesperson to even approach me, but Patsy was more than happy to take care of me. She doesn't pressure, she's just really into what she's selling, and it shows. That's what makes a great salesperson: if they actually like their products, then that's all you need to make a sale. This will be the second bed we've gotten from this location and it's been great, so I have no doubt my new bed will be great too! Prices are nice too, they've got a great selection of sizes and prices. Hi I bought a Posturepedic mattress and the frame that went with it my frame got stuck in the upright position and wouldn't work I have tried numerous times to send in all the information that they require for the warranty it's not even a year old I called the sales person who my bought it from and they referred me to the website two times I've taken pictures filled out all the information and nobody gets back with you so their warranty is worthless and frustrating their word read more

We had tried a Purple mattress at the Deer Valley location but they didn't have the original, just 2, 3, and 4, so we went to this one. Our salesperson, Vince, was very helpful in explaining the mattresses and the benefits of a power base, which they were having a deal on. The store sales person was helpful. Sleep America customer service after the sale is the worst I've ever encountered. The $1100 mattress collapsed on one side after less than 5 months. Customer service sent out an inspector who proclaimed the mattress as defective. After jumping through all of the hoops and being promised a replacement, the Sleep America "warehouse" decided we didn't qualify for a replacement because they "discovered" a 1"-2" discoloration in the mattress. A pretty lame excuse considering their own inspector said the mattress was defective, and the "stain" was located in a totally different are than the collapse. Bottom line: I'm out $1100 I will avoid Sleep America and advise everyone to do so, as well. read more

Went to this store to find a mattress. Immediately I was taken to the back of the store to the "discontinued" stock. OK no biggie. I didn't find anything I liked. I proceeded to browse the rest of the store. When I got to a certain area I was told by the sales rep that this particular part of the store was their top of the line most expensive sets. I thought OK. He then says, "I don't think you can afford any of these." WOW I would like to know how he would know how much I can afford, and even how much I want to spend. I told him at this time I was just browsing. He hands me his card and tells me to see him if I decide on something. I got to the front door of the store, and turned right there and tore up his business card in front of him. I told him he lost a customer due to his comment. He just gave me this look like what did I say. I went across the street to another store, found a mattress, and bought it. read more
