If there were a way that I could give zero stars I would. We found a bed that we really like on Facebook marketplace and messaged the seller to see if it was available. They replied that it was available and sent us the address and store hours. I sent my teenage daughter down to see it only to find that the bed that they are interested in is not on site and needs be ordered. It's unfortunate that my daughter drove 45 minutes to see something under false pretenses. Not only was she disappointed, but she's a teenager and doesn't have a lot of extra gas money. When I messaged the seller on Facebook to express my frustration, their response was.... " life isn't cheap. You'll be OK.." They advertise furniture online that they don't actually have in stock. I found a dining table and chairs I wanted, messaged them, and was told they had several available at the store. After traveling across town, I discovered they didn't have it at all. I even showed the employee that it was still being advertised online and pointed out the false posting. my experience with unique uniqueites was extremely frustrating and unacceptable from start to finish. if i could give zero rating that is my actual rating. my husband and i visited the store to purchase a couch, and before finalizing the purchase, we specifically asked--twice--whether the couch was in stock. we were assured that it was, only to later find out that no one had even checked their system to confirm availability. this was later confirmed by the employee responsible for handling deliveries, who admitted that the sales representative never verified the inventory before selling us the couch. we used the financing company they offered, trusting the process would be smooth. however, days passed without any follow-up until i finally received a call. during that call, i was informed--very casually--that not only do they not offer scheduled delivery (only same-day delivery with no planning options), but also that the couch i purchased was not even in stock. i was then told i would have to wait until may to receive it, despite having made the purchase at the beginning of march. when i attempted to contact the store to discuss options, my calls were repeatedly ignored. it was only when my husband called from a different number that someone finally answered. even then, no effort was made to resolve the issue or offer any form of accommodation for their clear mistake. when i requested to speak with a manager, both employees involved--including the sales representative and the person handling delivery--refused to escalate the situation or even consult management. when i finally reached the sales employee to cancel the order, she refused to cancel it on her end, even though that was all that was required--simply canceling the order on the store's behalf so the financing company could complete the process. instead, i was told i had to handle it myself through the financing company, which was completely inaccurate and contradicted what the finance company had already confirmed to me in writing. to make matters worse, the store continued to ignore communication--not only from me, but also from the financing company, who attempted to contact them multiple times via phone and email without success. it took nearly a month for my account to finally be closed due to their lack of response and accountability. this entire experience was stressful, time-consuming, and completely avoidable had the store simply been honest, communicative, and professional from the beginning. despite their affordable prices, i would strongly advise against doing business with unique uniqueites. the lack of accountability, poor communication, and disregard for customers is not worth the headache. for comparison, i had a completely opposite experience with nick's furniture on 53rd ave and cactus--i was able to purchase a couch and have it delivered the very same day without any issues. plus then gentleman who helped us was so kind amd professional!!!! do not buy from here read more

When they told me my couch would be delivered in 5 business days "if I order on Sunday since that's the day they need to send there orders." It was nearly 2 weeks before I got the couch. The reason I have a 2 stars is only due to I like the model and price for my dining room set. The seller was very attentive and nice. However, they told me one day (Friday) but Erika called to inform delivery was delayed, then I called Saturday and she said the same thing I went ahead and decided to go on Sunday and despite they didn't call me my furniture was there. I asked her to please I needed to measure the boxes to see if fits in my car and she got upset and throw the pencil to the desk of the seller. That was very disrespectful. I called before heading into the store and told rep that I was looking for memory foam. She told me there was a cheaper one at 160 for a queen size and a 179. I told her since it was for my disabled mother I would probably be wanting the 179 went into the store about two hours later told them I was the one who called, the sales rep pointed the other direction to what I thought was the one that I called about when I was looking at it and asked if I was able to test it out she told me there was a cover on it to protect it. I had been looking for a narrow, long and tall entryway table for weeks and had been to all the stores up and down Bell Rd to find one. One of my husband's coworkers told us about Uniquities, which is tucked away in a shopping center on 59th and Bell. I was super happy that we were able to order anything we wanted from the catalogs. There was a table that I found at Ashely and the Ashley store told me it would take up to 4 weeks to get it. Uniquities was able to order for me and it came in about a week. It was a fantastic price too! When we came to the store to pick up the table, the sales team were really relaxed but still helpful. That was such a welcomed change from all the high pressure, awkwardly lingering sales people at all the other stores. While I was waiting to load up my table I tried out some of the mattresses and looked at some of the other furniture. There was so much to choose from. I will most definitely be coming back to see if they can help me upgrade our other furniture pieces. read more

For the delivery I had to pay $60 for delivery the guy was not too friendly first he got lost and second he delivered and did not want to open the boxes( Its a gel mattress) so I had to pay him extra to do that he did agree for the extra $$. I got what I wanted after not finding it in stock at the store. Uniquities honored the advertised price posted over a two months ago. The queen frame I ordered came in a respectable time frame. The construction was solid wood pieces. Quality fabric and the design is nice. No heavy box or pieces, good hardware provided. Metal threading into metal hardware ect ensuring a tight fit on all corners... I really was expecting to be somewhat disappointed in some fashion with the construction but I am not. Great value for my 150$ considering other frames I considered with similar looks costing 2,3,400$+ just for the frame.. Construction time was about 45 minutes, taking my time and tightening everything again once it was together. Following the instructions, I ended up with a nice sturdy frame. Amanda answered the phone each time I called. She was very prompt and professional. The salesman who I met on a Saturday morning was very professional and made the order process simple with no pressure. I received a call when my frame arrived. At first I was incredibly impressed with this business. They had very nice furniture for a very reasonable price. Customer service was wonderful with the sale and helping load all the furniture into our vehicles. Because my home was under construction, I was unable to check the merchandise until the work on the house was finished. Once I opened the boxes and put the beds together, one of them had 3 different parts that did not match up that support the bed. It is at a point where if somebody were to sit on the bed or lay on the bed it could collapse. This is a danger. I have been trying to call the business all week. Six times between Monday and Friday. I keep getting their answering machine and leaving messages but no one is returning my call. Very poor business on the back end of the sale. If they want me to recommend them to others they should be calling back to make good on the sale. read more

Bought a bed frame from here 3 weeks back. That was my first mistake and the second was that I picked up the bed frame without opening the box and checking it out. I was told by the salesman Danny that if any defect is found, they will replace it at their own expense. And guess what, I brought it home opened up the box and found two big tears on the headboard. It's been 3 weeks 6 emails and countless phone calls that I've made and I still not received any refund or any replacement. Bed frame is cheap quality. All have been excellent quality and all have lasted a long time. While there showroom is small they carry a huge variety of furniture options for every budget range. They have a catalog that you can purchase items from different furniture manufactures. Personally, I like the look of a lot of Ashley Furniture- which they carry! At a lower price! Basically it seems like anything I saw in the Ashely showroom, they could get as well. Very happy with our multiple purchases from here and would purchase from them again in future.
