Awful. High pressure sales. Mattress did not last and they don't back up their warranty. Stay away.

Efficient and knowledgeable. Happy with our new mattress. May not be the best price around.

I was in the market for a sofa, as I had just purchased my first home…read more The first floor is full of overstuffed chairs, love seats, in a variety of contemporary styles (only). I made my way upstairs to the 2nd floor where they have sofas and mattresses. I selected a boring "green" sofa. I found it to be weird that I would choose a "green" sofa, but it looked nice in the show room and seemed like a safe, neutral choice. I asked the salesman several times, "that's green?". He assured me of the color. So, I cough up the $600 in cash and was looked at like I had two heads when I requested a receipt. I inquired about delivery, and they do offer it, for like $40 or $60 bucks or something. I was mostly confident that my husband and I could heave it up the 20ish steps or so into my living room. So after a confusing trip back and forth to the warehouse, the driver seemed confused as to what couch/color he was getting and where it was located, hence my desire for a receipt. We loaded it into my truck, completely wrapped in cardboard and plastic. The driver looked at the tag and confirmed it was the right one. Sooo. We get it home and my husband and I have the delightful task of carrying the beast up the stairs. We get it into the house and I am anxious to cut the wrapping off. I start peeling away the layers and slowly to my dismay, realize the damned couch is BROWN. I can't believe it. I was so fussy about deciding on GREEN, that I get it home and it's the wrong color! I am shocked, covered in sweat from moving it so I immediately call P&S and tell them the couch is BROWN. They confirm the color I purchased is correct and that is what I got. They suggested that I bring a throw pillow from the couch back into the store to check the color. SO, I go back down there, bring the pillow in and it magically turns GREEN. Apparently, there is NO NATURAL lighting in the store, only fluorescent. I end up keeping the damned thing, but I was forced to paint the living room and remove the existing carpeting because it looked so ugly with the brown. I recommend taking a pillow or fabric sample OUTSIDE if you are particular about colors. Otherwise, save the money and hassle and buy the same cheap Ashley sofa at BIG LOTS for around half the price.

I don't understand the bad reviews...this place is awesome! We chatted with Miranda, the owner's daughter, and she was so nice. Prices are typical for many antique stores - a mixture of bargain pieces and high end. We went there looking for a headboard but ended up leaving with a really cool lamp, side table, and a ton of books. No complaints here on prices or the experience. We can't wait to go back. AND there's two adorable shop dogs -- what more could you want?! :)

Its a sucker trap..Stopped in over the weekend. Jam packed with used furniture...antiques??....NOT…read morereally any.....lots of NEW items mixed in . Low quality and high prices. Found a vintage table that I knew all about-a good piece....on a good day at a reputable auction like Wright-which specializes in this era - it might go for $1-1500 (one just sold this year there for below its estimate...estimate: $1,500-2,000 result: $1,260). Of course there was no price on it, so I asked. Well the "expert" owner started to give me the big sales pitch..."Well its handmade from Italy (its marked SWEDEN) and its .........$10,000. I kinda ran out of the store when I heard that. The place is purely for disposable income types that don't care about prices or what they're buying.....anyone looking for quality or bargains shouldn't waste a second here.

We love our new furniture--but the customer service experience was disappointing…read more My husband and I were excited to purchase a new bedroom set. After comparing prices, we found that Burlington Furniture was quoting us $2,000 more than a California company, even with shipping and assembly included. Still, we wanted to support a local business, so we returned to Burlington Furniture, and they agreed to match the competitor's price. We were given an estimated delivery date of 4/30. When we followed up, we were surprised to hear that our furniture wouldn't arrive for nearly two more months. We understand that delays happen, but we were frustrated by the lack of communication. I called the manager to get clarity and was told that the employee who gave us that update was no longer with the company. She promised to follow up--which she did--but she didn't provide a new delivery timeline. Instead, she told us the order wasn't actually delayed and that deliveries typically arrive two weeks after the estimated date. It's unclear why the original estimate wouldn't account for that window, and what's worse, I never heard back from the manager again. Ultimately, the delivery company brought our furniture just five days after the estimated date, which we appreciated--but the poor communication and lack of accountability from Burlington Furniture left a bad impression. We're happy with the product, but extremely disappointed in the service. Sadly, this experience has cost Burlington Furniture a customer.
