Still hunting for a new mattress, bright and early I met with the sole employee, Kanitta, in the Mattress Firm showroom. Over forty mattresses of various brand name companies line the floor of this Davie store. Kanitta explained some bedding options including their ten year warranty but I was smitton to the BeautyRest Black California King - it was so soft. The Queen was only on display for $4,000.00, but need to physically see and touch the king before paying out much more than that. During my mattress hunt, I noticed that most showrooms due to the price of sqare feet, do not have kings on the floor or maybe only one or two at most. They do have a "Value Zone" that provides discounted mattresses at the rear of the store. No sale today and the hunt continues. read more

Paid 4000 dollars for a Black special Mattress, It was shipped to our home in Punta Gorda, We have slept on it maybe 30 to 40 times, Its sagging on the side, We cannot believe it, Have purchased numerous mattress's over the years, But none this expensive, We will see waht they do about it tomorrow, They warrantied the Bed Frame when the motor quit workin after 10 days , We only go to this home about 5 nights a month . I called the store Monday night at 7:20 pm and I spoke to Jose, I told him what kind of matress I was looking for & asked if he had any in stock. He was very friendly and said yes they did.. I told him I would be there within a half hour. When I arrived I was greeted by Jose and he showed me the matress. I tested out the matress and it was perfect. I then told him about my neck issues and he was very knowledgeable about pillows, and mattresses.. it definitely makes a big difference sleeping on the correct bedding.. The only reason it's two stars is Hensky. He's a sharp and attentive salesman who knows his mattresses. Gio the manager does not seem to care all that much about customer satisfaction. After hearing our mattress would be delayed, he offered a perfunctory apology but was more concerned with the fact we "cancel promptly" if we were going to. Which only reinforced that that was probably all too common an occurrence anyway and he doesn't seem to think it is all that big a deal. Given the lack of any kind of assurance when our bed would arrive and the demeanor of the administration of the store, I felt we could do better. Simmons is a wonderful mattress-maker. They make for nice beds. We would have went with them but the whole experience with Mattress Firm soured us on that option and we found better, nicer service and options sourcing the mattress locally. It's a shame that this is the company that bought out Mattress Giant (a local legend!) I would not recommend this location or company and only can see ordering with them if you have a month or more to wait and can be home 9am to 9pm (their delivery window.) read more

Jarvis was the BEST sales associate I have ever worked with anywhere. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and professional during our time with him. After trying out a couple mattresses, we found the one we wanted and he offered us a great deal. He knew every feature and specification of each mattress we tried and he was able to explain everything so that we knew exactly what we were getting. He explained the different hybrids, pocketed coils, coil counts, mattress protectors, adjustable bases, pillows, frames, headboards, delivery and the financing options that were available. We took some time to think about our potential purchase. We even went to other Mattress Firm locations and furniture stores nearby searching for a better deal - but we ultimately came back to Jarvis because he had the best price and the best service. When we called to let him know we were running late, he kept the store open an extra half hour just to meet with us. If you are looking for a mattress, go to this location and ask for Jarvis. He will make your buying experience effortless and even ENJOYABLE!!! There was no stress! I also could not believe the amazing delivery service the next day (they delivered on a Sunday!!) - the delivery men put on booties so that they wouldn't track mud into the house and they were very polite and expertly brought our king sized mattress up the narrow staircase in our townhouse. Within the 120 days I'm to be charged over $70 for an exchange and after 120 days there must be visible signs, for a warranty claim. Make sure you don't buy the mattress protector, they do not stand by the promise that it will protect your mattress. I called to say that our new mattress protector had let something leak right through it and was told that I didn't buy the one that is guaranteed. I purchased the 80.00 mattress protector when I called and explained the situation I was told if I wanted I could come back in and buy the top of the line for another 80.00 as a consolation for having my new mattress stained. read more

I purchased a mattress last week at this Davie location. We, as in my husband and baby, showed up late at night searching for a memory foam mattress. LJ immediately greeted us at the door and offered his assistance. The following reasons are why LJ and mattress firm gave us exceptional service: 1. LJ was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of mattress purchasing (from comfort, use, individual preference etc) 2. He made sure to explain the various options (especially those geared to what we were searching for in specific) 3. My experience was different from other people's reviews. Jose, the salseperson, was a great help, knowledgeable and gave me no pressure. I walked in there 3 times over a span of 2 days and spent over an hour each time. He allowed me to check out the mayoresses, lay on them for 20/30min to allow me to figure out the best one for me. When I wanted to purchase a mattress, the store was out of stock. So he called another mattress firm near by which had only the mattress. He called them and made arrangements to reserve it for me, so I went to pick it up. I went with the Sealy Ashlin Posturpedic mattress innerspring. It'd firm just the way I like it. Also, Jose was able to hook it up, he got me free shipping. I was hoping to get free one day shipping, but I came in after 2pm. Note: they don't ship on Wednesday cause its inventory day. So the mattress spring and frame came on Thursday. The shipping guys were great, called me ahead of time and was flexible when I was running late. Great experience overall. read more
