We knew we had to get rid of our old mattress but I was scared of the process of finding the perfect new mattress. There's SO many options out there and it's super confusing. I started researching and seeing many great recommendations for City Mattress Factory from my local "go-to" neighborhood page. I woke my husband up one morning and told him we HAD to be there when they opened (they open @ 8am!). I knew we didn't have to look anywhere else. Norm was so patient with us! We brought our own pillows and blanket and I made my husband spend at least 10 min on each mattress we were considering. I knew the Legacy was for us when my husband feel fast asleep on the Legacy. Staff is outstanding, personable and friendly both times we've come here. We had come here pre-shut down, so around 2018/2019 to get the bunk bed my oldest had wanted. We hadn't needed to shop for a bed for my youngest due to timing working out that we had my nieces crib/mattress, a friends car bed for his toddler stage, and my in-laws moved out of state in 2020, they gave us their guest room twin bed so they didn't have to haul it with them. Though that twin bed didn't come with a mattress for the pull out. We finally decided to find a 7' mattress for the pull out this year and remembered Heavenly sleep shop when we were pricing out our choices. They had two options that worked for us at $100 & $80, both good options for a mattress that won't see regular use but not as thin & uncomfortable options that we had seen for similar prices at places like Ikea. My 8 year old has been obsessed with the fact he now has a bed under his bed, and has regularly been pulling out the pull out to hang out on when playing video games or watching a show. (Even though his regular bed is still right there!)

However, we were helpless against the combined powers of super-knowledgeable and helpful Justin AND the incredible comfort of the Purple mattress. We walked out of the store that night without purchasing anything, but after sleeping on it (pun intended), we came back the next day to buy our new bed. Did we spend more than we had originally planned? For sure. But we got a great quality mattress, which came with an adjustable base and a ton of other extras.
