We decided to completely strip the wood to reveal the natural wood grain, re-glued, and reupholstered both pieces. All the work was done in approx two weeks, and all correspondence was answered promptly. We are over the moon with the results. Unfortunately due to water and environmental conditions the bottom rusted and leaked, necessitating replacement. Abt could not have been more helpful, in this time of need. The Abt office (Nathan) immediately and fully addressed the situation. The Abt plumbers delivered fast and truly excellent replacement with a new Reliance 50 gallon hot water heater and installed all the necessary copper pipe, valves and fittings---including full labor at no charge. The plumbers (Russell Cartwright and Tyler Fite) installing the unit were very meticulous and highly competent in every detail. They also were extremely helpful and courteous. I have used Abt exclusively for over forty years and recommended their products and service to numerous other home owners--no one has been disappointed. Their appliances and equipment are always top quality but their service and commitment to stand behind and service these products is both outstanding and exemplary.
