We passed ladies at the desk who never spoke or made eye contact and two men within the store who also never spoke. They were not busy at all! as I parked right in front of their store and only saw a few people looking around. I don't need to be babied but at least speak or smile at people. I left there and went to Smokey Mountain Furniture where we felt welcomed and actually purchased several pieces of furniture... and they were extremely busy but still spoke and helped. I wished I'd never wasted my time or gas driving so far out to Lindy's. Never again! Doesn't seem they want to sell anything anyway!

Upper management doesn't actually care about it's customers or employees. They are so far behind with basic things like online payments, decent internet connection for employees not at the corporate office, up charged and sub-par furnitire, etc. Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT spend your hard earned money at this place! They don't deserve any of your money or time. Don't apply to work here either. They have crazy turnover with employees because, once again, upper management doesn't care about its employees so no one gets adequate training to do their job. They're just thrown into the fire to try and figure it out. And unsurprisingly, most people don't make it more than a couple months because the stress and pressure of maintaining sales numbers gets to be too much. Stay away from Kimbrell's at all costs!

We started at Lowe's but decided to shop around for a few more options because my mom wasn't seeing anything we liked. We were looking for a dryer with a steam cycle and large capacity for bedding. We went to Queen City since my dad bought a tv from them previously. They were friendly and helpful and some different options on their floor compared to Lowe's. They knew more about the machines on their floor - we got the "look it up online" answer from the Lowe's employees which is true and easy enough but not quite as helpful as them just knowing the answers. We found a beautiful black dryer with all the features my mom wanted and because it was labor day they had a great sale on washer/dryer pairs. Then we spoke with Gregg and he gave us an even better deal than the labor day price, knocking the pair down another $300 (the price ended up at 650 each!) compared to $730 each online for the same washer and dryer. We did their 18 months no interest plan and they're going to deliver them on labor day. My mom was super happy she got a great deal and I was super happy that they were so helpful. Positive experience for us and we'll be recommending them to friends and family.
