Once I walked in, a staff member approached me and asked how he can help. I told him I came in looking for a Purple Pillow and he showed me where they were in store. Nice place and girl was helpful.the one we have in SC does have better clearance items.they seemed to have none, so my daughter paid about 170 more than the one we got her in SC. I had the best experience with John Puccio. I first interacted with him at the Seekonk store where he was very helpful and knowledgeable on the mattresses. When I was ready to narrow down my choices, he happened to be working at the University store a day that was good for me. So I went to the store and what a pleasant buying time I had. He was very professional and he took his time to answer all my questions. I ended up getting a Tempu Pedic bed with an adjustable base. Great sale going on because of Labor Day. I like the bed I got here. And the delivery people were really excellent. James was the sales associate, and he was talking too much at first, but then I asked him to stop talking so much, and to just give me the answer that I asked for, and he did. He was very respectful. He just was a little talkative. And I was a little overwhelmed with all the new data. So I'm glad that he respected my wishes, and I'm really really glad that he showed me the bed that has the raising feet and head. Because now I wake up in my back is not in pain anymore. That's the best part obviously. But I also feel really good about working with positive people who really care about doing a good job, and that's the experience I got especially from the delivery company. Jerome gave excellent customer service. He was bordering on too polite! I haven't received my mattress yet so I can't speak to the delivery and the quality, but I do think that he deserves a mention. I don't usually write YELP reviews, but Mattress Firm warrants one. I ordered a mattress online but spoke to Manuel Arias in the Providence location to work out some details. He responded quickly and professionally and the company followed up with email communication every step of the way. Mattress ordered on Wednesday, arrived Sunday at exactly the beginning of the time frame promised. Delivery staff was helpful and professional. We originally ordered a "mattress in a box" from another company ($400 more!) and after 3 weeks waiting, STILL with no clear delivery date, we called Mattress Firm and they made it happen! THANK YOU! This is the most pathetic store experience I ever had. This is the first review of my life, you can imagine my frustration. I am never coming back. Reasons for rating super low: 1. BAD PRODUCT QUALITY: Stinky memory foam mattress , never buy a memory foam mattress especially from sleepy's , definitely from this one 2. FUCKED UP CUSTOMER SERVICE: I went to exchange the faulty product within time limit but they asked me for extra money (fucking $129 ) just because they cannot deliver the new product within 30 days time limit. Store people just gave me customer care number to further complain as if I have all the time in the world to do their shit job 3. NOT TRUSTWORTHY : I was informed that I can return the product within 30 days and get full refund, then when I went to return they told me i could just exchange. Then they are checking their idiotic computers and telling me that just because they cant deliver the product in time, I have to pay extra. 4.THEY THINK THEY ARE A CHARITY: By comparing price to ikea, they feel like they are "helping" people ( not doing their fucking business ) 5. INSULTING CUSTOMERS: After they cant sort out your problem, they will do a "courtesy" to provide a customer care number as if you are too dumb to find it online! read more

We were looking at a very nice pillow top mattress, but simply could not afford to have that luxury, We were near the door contemplating if we should just walk out, but Raul was so nice how could we be so rude. We went to say goodbye to him and he asked "what happened", which we advised we love the bed but need something more reasonable. Raul was very helpful to find a similar bed in our price range. I had a surprisingly pleasant time purchasing what I needed at Sleepy's during their Memorial Day sale. I ended up saving at least 75 dollars over a comparable purchase elsewhere, due in part to the assistance provided by the customer service representative Jerome Edgerton, who worked with me on the logistics and made sure that i was satisfied before I left the store. One small caveat: Sleepy's should make every effort to modernize their computer system--it took a bit longer to process the sale than it needed to. read more

Wonderful experience. Completely professional. Clean and just an overall awesome experience. I strolled in on the last day of their presidents sale. The sales rep was extremely helpful and friendly. I'm fussy and was having a hard time picking one out because after my terrible experience with Bobs I wanted to make sure I got something good. He asked me how long I planned to use the mattress, what my price range was and what position I sleep in. We narrowed it down to two mattresses. He told me to lay on each one for 5 minutes or longer and that'd I'd know. Sure enough after 5 minutes on the first one I layed on the second one and knew it was the one for me! Wonderful! Reasonably priced and I got a 6 month 0 interest financing even though the bed was only $400. And this mattress is of great quality. We've had nothing with problems with our mattress purchase. The biggest being a mess up on our charge which we cannot seem to get fixed for a month now. No one is calling us back, and everyone is pretty incompetent. Jerome who is the manager is a nice guy but is the one who created our mess and cannot seem to resolve it. We had a very positive experience shopping here. Unlike the huge box stores, this particular store is intimate and doesn't overwhelm the customer. Neat and clean - which is a big plus to me!
