I grew up very close to Amish country, in Northeastern Ohio, and my parents and grandparents both had interactions with the Amish. My parents had them do some woodwork in our house because they were known for their fine woodworking skills. We entered the store intending to just check it out but they had exactly what we needed and the prices were reasonable. Our sales person was very knowledgeable and she explained the pieces and how they could be customized according to our needs. She explained that each piece was custom made to order by a single craftsman and that each piece was individually made. It was definitely not your cookie cutter Asian imports carried by most furniture stores, even high end ones these days.

I was able to purchase a dining room table and a couch for a reasonable price. The deals were definitely dealing this day and I think I scored a decent deal. I wish they would've worked it down to a little bit less, but I settled and still took the furniture anyways.
