It was time for an upgrade. Again, if you want a high-end adjustable base for your mattress, this is the place to get it! The base we bought is adjustable at the head, feet, and lumbar regions, and with a push of a button on the remote, users can set two favorite combinations of these three settings. There is a massage feature, and the base even reports your sleep habits directly to your phone. There is a white noise feature, and an anti-snore feature that either adjusts your position or vibrates (or both) to stop the snore. One of the more amazing characteristics is an alarm feature that gradually wakes you up earlier than your alarm if you're not fully asleep but leaves you alone if it senses that you're in a deep sleep, waking you up at the moment you've set the alarm. You can control everything from the remote or from an app on your phone, and the base even connects to your WiFi and Amazon's Alexa if you have one! I came across their website and decided to visit their Hermitage location. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a delightful gentleman named John. I explained to him what I was looking for and the issues I had with my previous mattress shopping experience and he was happy to help me. Even more impressive was that I showed him the tag from the mattress in my guest room that I really like that was 10+ years old, he was able to tell me all about it and while they don't make them anymore, he was able to tell me about all of the improvements they have made on the current models. They had a large selection of mattresses and John was able to show me the ones he thought I would like based on my preferences, and even explained the differences between the various options. He was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. *Tip* If you sign up for their "Outlet Pass", they'll email you a voucher for an additional discount off of your mattress. Mine was already marked down to a great deal (less than half of what you would pay elsewhere) and they were able to take an additional $100 off. Boy was I wrong, and my back paid the price. The next day, I showed up to Marks Mattress Outlet and was greeted immediately upon arrival by Jerry. He asked me what I was looking for and was able to find the perfect mattress (pillow soft, firm, mix, etc.) for me. Not only that, but when he heard I was in pain from sleeping on an air mattress, he called his delivery people to see if they could deliver the same day (unfortunately they were booked with deliveries all day which speaks to how well the store does). I thought I would be dropping thousands of dollars for a brand name mattress, but it was incredibly priced and next business day delivery was impeccable.
