I take sleep VERY seriously and appreciate the system they have to narrow down their selections. Edrees wasn't pushy, took his time to explain what he was doing when having us test out like 7 different models & their features, and then left us alone for a few to make up our own minds. It was a good processes and we felt good about the decision. This brands are all solid and well-known, and their process seems pretty tight. Give yourself an hour or so if you go, it's no surprise these things aren't inexpensive and you're going to spend a quarter of your life in bed, so make it count.

My family and I are big advocates for supporting local businesses rather than big box companies. However, we expect from all, big or small companies, respect and exceptional customer service. This is not what I experienced at this store. I went into the store looking for a sectional and possibly also a dining table. The salesperson was very attentive and willing to answer my questions. Before purchasing the sectional, I decided to check out other stores that same day to make sure I was getting a relatively good price and wasn't missing out on something else. I returned to the store the next day with the intention of buying the sectional but this is when it turned.... I asked the salesperson if the price for the sectional was the best given I saw another couch very similar at another store for less. He told me to speak to the owner regarding the price. I told the owner that I saw a similar couch for less and he told me they weren't the same. Of course I knew that! I asked him what the difference was and he gave me a short response - the quality. Ok... that was a general response so I asked further, "what about the quality?" He answered, I don't know how to explain. After a few seconds, he said.. the fabric.. warranty. Alright so then he asked me "is this your first time buying a couch?" And I said, yes. He then looked at the salesperson and said, "you see". He then said, "how old are you?" I responded, 34. He then he said "you're researching like you're 17". I was dumbfounded. It was insulting as if age had anything to do with this. He was alluding to my ability to purchase furniture, lack there of. I walked out and will never return. He tried to say that I "looked 17" which was even worse given I am a grown woman and want to be treated as such. Age has nothing to do with shopping for furniture!!! If I didn't sound "informed".. take the time to educate me, your customer, as that extra step may take you a long way! Maybe it will get you more business vs. losing it. Respect and customer service is key!!!

Sue before we were leaving had us fill out a form with our information and email address and she mentioned she was going to send me a proposal or draft invoice with the pricing on it via email . When I asked when I might receive that, she suddenly says we do not do that here. What I do not understand is if you are offering me an email with a proposal or draft invoice, why bring it up in the first place if you do not offer it. We wound up purchasing our sofa and chaise at a competitor in Columbia, MD. who had much better service and the pricing was less expensive. I would have to say if you are looking at high end furniture, please visit this store for comparison shopping, but I would not recommend you purchase here or expect someone to ask you if you need help. The white couches were also dirty but I assume those cushions slip off and you can send it to the dry cleaner for cleaning. What a horrible disarray this showroom is in if they don't care about the merchandise! White fabric furniture should be covered in plastic.
