I have had very good experience here but this business appears to be closed - signs were down when I drove past.

I had to tell Edrees to keep it down because I was trying to sleep on some of the luscious mattresses he was showing us. A very comfortable shop all around. I take sleep VERY seriously and appreciate the system they have to narrow down their selections. Edrees wasn't pushy, took his time to explain what he was doing when having us test out like 7 different models & their features, and then left us alone for a few to make up our own minds. It was a good processes and we felt good about the decision. This brands are all solid and well-known, and their process seems pretty tight. Give yourself an hour or so if you go, it's no surprise these things aren't inexpensive and you're going to spend a quarter of your life in bed, so make it count. read more

I had been waking up with debilitating back & hip pain for months, waking up unable to walk for about 30 minutes. The only way to avoid waking up this way was to sleep with a pillow under my lower back & hips. My Hybrid mattress was at least 8 years and despite it "feeling" nice, it clearly was not giving me the support I needed. I had planned on going to chain retail stores like I had always done but discovered there was a local mattress store called The Mattress Connection very close to my house. After reading the phenomenal reviews online, I decided to check it out. I met Edrees on Sunday and explained the pain I was experiencing, and the condition of my Hybrid mattress and I told him that I needed a firmer mattress but with some softness due to my arthritis. The store had newer versions of my current mattress - firm and soft. Edrees explained that you need to take time and relax when trying mattresses to truly see how your body feels/reacts when lying on it. His approach is like that of eye doctors - option 1 or 2. What I loved most about Edrees is that he's not a salesman; He's an educator on how to get better sleep! He is extremely attentive, telling you not to think and instead feel how your body reacts to each mattress. While pulling information about how you feel, he explains things such as how a firm bed does not automatically mean that you'll have proper alignment. This allows you to better understand what your body tells you when you lie down. He will ask if you have a budget, but I can't encourage you enough not to let your budget guide you. Let your body decide what bed works best. He explained that when we find the right bed, if it wasn't in my budget, we could find something similar that was in my price range. I tried nearly every bed in the store, from the cheapest to the most expensive and my body decided that both were not the mattress for me. Most people think that a more expensive mattress means that it's better - it's not true! I tried a $6,000 mattress and I immediately knew that it wasn't for me based on the feel. During the process, I explained to Edrees that I was also going to check out SleepNumber as my rheumatologist suggested I try it because I could adjust the softness/firmness as needed for my arthritis. He encouraged me to go and try it! He said that while he stands 100% behind all of his mattresses and his mattress selection process, he wants me to also feel 100% confident in my decision. This is the type of service I value! Someone that isn't trying to just make a sale but instead takes time with you and is visibly invested in finding what's best for you. I went to SleepNumber on Wednesday, tried all the mattresses with the same approach (bed 1 or bed 2) and chose one. After I sat with the sales rep while he wrote up an estimate, I decided to spend 10 more minutes on the bed chose. It was then that I realized that it was not the bed for me. So, I went back and tried the other bed that I thought could work. I was so happy that I tried them again because I would have wasted nearly $5,000 on a mattress that would have caused me pain. I immediately drove back to Mattress Connection and I asked Edrees if I could lie back down on the bed I chose on Sunday. He encouraged me to do so - and I realized that it might be too soft. I asked if I could try one that was a bit firmer. He encouraged me to take the time that I need and pointed me to a bed that I had tried on Sunday. After spending 10 minutes lying on it, I asked if there was a bed sort of between to two. He pointed me to another bed that I had previously tried. I spent the next bit of time spending about 10 minutes on each bed eliminating them one by one. I ended up purchasing the third bed because the mattress was supportive for proper alignment but had some pillowtop to avoid pain on my joints. After trusting Edrees and his process of elimination, I bought the best mattress for my body and to my surprise ended up spending less money than I had budgeted! If you are in the market for a new mattress, I highly recommend Edrees and The Mattress Connection - you won't regret it! read more

I came in looking to buy a new mattress. The salesman was amazing by knowing what I needed, giving me a great price, and getting the mattress to me in just a couple days. He didn't try to oversell me, talk my ear off, or judge me and my current situation. Couldn't ask for a better experience. The crew at The Mattress Connection were some of the best people to work with when it came to buying a King mattress for our master bedroom. We visited the store on a late Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly greeted by Joe. He listened to our wants and needs and was very patient with us as we laid down on several different beds well past their 5pm closing time. It was clear that Joe was a knowledgeable professional who has been in the business for many years. He was not pushy at all and made us feel comfortable the entire time. We ended up purchasing our bed right there on the spot for a price that was in our budget and by far the best deal for such a high-quality mattress. I had also fallen in love with one of their moveable bases but we didn't end up purchasing it that night because it wasn't in our price range. The next day Joe called my husband and had found not only the moveable base at a price that we felt comfortable with - BUT - he found one that had an upgraded feature of three different massage functions! I was ecstatic and could not wait for our bed to be shipped. When the day came, the team who delivered our mattress and base were super sweet and got us set-up in no time. The entire process was almost effortless on our part. The positive Yelp reviews led me here. On the positive side, Mattress Connection had a good variety of mattresses from all the various brands so I was impressed with that.. I had done quite a bit of research so I had a good idea of what I wanted and was pretty well educated on the various differences between mattresses, so I was able to tell when things were being features were being embellished or real (both here and other stores). The store was easy to get to and very clean inside. I deducted one star for the frequent bad-mouthing of the competition. It's a turn off. Leave that to customers and sites like Yelp. Also, it comes across as condescending like we didn't do our homework. Unlike other reviewers I DID feel rushed... very rushed. Hence another star deduction. I got there a just before closing which I realize wasn't ideal, so that's my fault. My sales representative clearly had somewhere to be but didn't want to lose the sale. He came across as a bit pushy, frustrated, hurrying me through the purchase process because he had to go. I offered to come back and he said he couldn't honor the price the next day. Honestly, at that point I should've left... and I truly regret not doing so. That's not a good look for any company, especially now that I know the promotion is still going on (I've now learned by looking at other websites), so I feel that either the deal should have been honored the next day or I should've received a little more patience. I had a quote for the same mattress for only $30 more (which I'm sure they would have matched) and given how I felt after I left this store it would have been worth it to pay a little extra. I was really happy to support a local company , but in the future, doubt I would shop here again. I can't recommend a better mattress store. My fiance and I had been looking for a mattress and went to the typical Mattress Warehouse and Mattress Firm and had randomly come across Mattress Connection with the help of Yelp. When we walked in, Joe was already with another customer but he made sure to acknowledge us while other places we have been to, the sales rep wouldn't even speak to us if they were with another customer. Joe allowed us to take our time going from mattress to mattress trying to find the right one and ultimately, we couldn't find a reason to say no. Joe worked with us to keep us within our budget and we purchased on the spot. Delivery was smooth and we hit a small snag when one of our twin box springs didn't fit in our bed frame. It was a Saturday close to 8 and I knew that the store closed at 8 so I left a message assuming that I would receive a call back the next day. Was I wrong. Joe called me back after 8 and we figured out that one incorrect size was sent to us in error. I had assumed it would take a few days for the box springs to be swapped out but nope, I was wrong again. Joe was kind enough to come himself that evening (keep in mind this is now after hours) and he took the wrong one and delivered the correct box spring. My son's bed was in horrible shape and I needed to replace it immediately, not wait for delivery. I called Idrees and he talked me through options and gave me a recommendation. WOW! Truly the most helpful customer service experience I've had in weeks at any business of any kind! We needed a box spring delivered same day. A back related medical issue. I called every mattress place that said they did same day delivery, and they make you give a ton of info only to tell you they can't deliver until tomorrow. Mattress Connection was maybe my 10th call. But the minute Edress Malkawi answered the phone he was determined to make this happen.
