My mom who is 85 years old back in…read moreDecember purchased a new mattress, motorized base and headboard from Mattress Firm in St Lucie West to the tune of around $6000, this was not the first time she had bought mattresses from this company and felt them to be a reputable company till today. We started to notice that the headboard was starting to pull away from the wall and heading towards the bed, upon checking the frame we noticed that when the bed was assembled(by Mattress Firm techs) that all the screws/bolts weren't used to connect the head board to the frame. We figured this would be an easy fix, just contact the Mattress Firm location and they would take care of it. Boy were we wrong!!! Mom reached out to the St Lucie West location and spoke to Matt, the conversation started out nice but spiraled down from there. Mom explained what the issue was and Matt immediately started to deflect with, it's furniture or you put it together wrong, anything to get out of it. The problem was the headboard was bought with the bed and it was assembled by the team that Mattress Firm sent to put it together. Matt was not concerned that there might be a danger to an 85 year old woman that this headboard could possibly come down on her head, he just held the company line. Another example of profit over person. Matt could have said let me speak to my manager being you spent the amount of money you did(not like she bought a pillow) and see what we can do. He would rather have a very upset customer who knows everyone and a really upset son with a Yelp account!!!! I think it's time for Mattress Firm to realize they don't run a business in a bubble, that they rely on the good will that they are will to share with their long standing customers.

I noticed that there was a little water near my machine, so I called for service. My appointment was made quickly and a technician named Jared came to my home. He was very friendly, explained everything that was going on with the machine, and found where the leak came from, explaining it to me . Jared wrote up a work order and told me the part had a hairline crack in it. He efficiently put the machine back together, cleaned up the little water, and told me the part should be coming in soon. I called Jetson up a couple of days later and they stated the part had just come in. I asked the lady on the phone who was also very very sweet, please send Jared again. She made the appointment for a day or so later, Jared came of course with a nice big hello, and proceeded to start working on the machine. As he's working, he's explaining it and finished up quickly. He did the test run on the machine to make sure it was not leaking and that everything was OK. Jared even showed me a couple of buttons on the machine that I wasn't aware about because I'm a person that does read the manual! I was so pleased with Jared and his work ethic that I called Jetsons to speak with Joe Kissler. He was not in when I made the call, but I made sure I left a message about Jared's performance. To my surprise, Mr. Kissler called me today (that doesn't happen too often that they call you back) I expressed my pleasure with Jared's great work, his wonderful demeanor, and that he really knows his craft. Jared gave some credit to Mr. Kissler for his knowledge, as he was his protege when Jared was learning the ropes. He also stated he studied quite a bit about the appliances to better his knowledge. Hopefully in the future, I won't need service, but I'm comfortable in knowing that if I do, I will ask for Jared to return.

The driveway entrance can be a little tricky to spot but once you are in there is lots of parking available. The employees at Weatherbee Nursery are very knowledgeable and helpful. Frequently at check out they will have great tips for the best ways to keep your plants thriving. I really appreciate the knowledge and kindness they show to us. The nursery itself is quite large and they have lots of native trees, shrubs, fruit trees, cover crops, flowers, herbs and veggies. Off to the left side when you checkout they have soils and fertilizers to help keep your plants thriving. The prices are a good value as well I've found. I'll certainly be back to Weatherbee Nursery. Great people, great plants and great service.
