These people don't gave 5 minutes training from what I can see. Having been to the Tempur Pedic store i wanted to compare to other mattresses. The store display models were dirty snd covered in lint. My "sleep expert" clearly had no meaningful training. He didn't even bother to show me anything then Tempur Pedic beds , which I've already seen. Basically I was being steered to Tempur Pedic which means they're trying to unload the TP inventory. A google search showed that Mattress Firm lost their contract with TP and only a few of their stores are even allowed to still sell them. It looks to me as if Mattress Firm wants to unload some aging inventory, which is why I was steered away from non TP mattresses. Oh, and get this, I let my "sleep expert" write of a quote. He's showing an inflated price, then starts deducting all the costs that they'll waive with the result that the price is, to the dollar, exactly what the TP is charging retail, before their rebates and stuff, and the TP still gives all the same free stuff that Mattress Firm claims they normally charge for, but will give me for free if I act right away. No, no and no. Stupid and gullible I am not. A sales and marketing professional I am.

Daniel who assisted me at Mattress Firm was by far the most knowledgeable on the products. He was professional, courteous, friendly, and there was no pressure to purchase nor steering to a higher cost product. I was fairly certain I wanted a temperpedic due to back issues and I was delighted to see they had all the models to try! Daniel explained the difference between them all, encouraged me to try all of them, and answered my many questions. As this was going to be a pricey purchase I needed a few days to think on it and go back and revisit the store and retest the mattresses. The second visit service was again phenomenal with Daniel. I did purchase a Temperpedic mattress and I am looking forward to delivery this weekend. Daniel went over all the warranty info in detail. Truly top notch service and made this process pleasant and stress free! I had an opportunity to talk to the other reps at the store while I was trying out mattress and all were friendly, courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Tech drilled into new couch to move connector and improved Top appearance but bottom of couch offline. Noticed two days later that the corner piece (next to) is now off line and huge gap on top of couch. Customer Service Crystal called and said that "meets manufacturer deviation" so would do nothing to correct and refused any type of refund. I spent alot of hard earned money and according to Levin I just have to deal with. Would love their sales and customer service to work hard for money, receive crap and just be stuck with it. We stood for 20 minutes at least while watching him get increasingly frustrated with the fact that something in the system wasn't working, and although multiple other associates walked by to check on him (including the manager), no one helped us until Nicole stepped in to take over (thank you to Nicole - she was the only good part of this). This was an utterly horrible shopping experience and I would highly discourage shopping here if this is the treatment we received for buying something as simple as an overpriced set of sheets.
