If you buy a hot tub from NEFD you better hope you get lucky and get a good one because their service department leaves a lot to be desired, to put it mildly. Our $11,000 tub leaked from day one. The first time we put water in it was in early March of 2026. It leaked and as of this writing on 5/29/26 it is still leaking. They have been out twice to fix it, unsuccessfully, once even damaging it more than it already was. Worse, the service dept has "ghosted" us over and over, not returning calls. Alex talks a good game on tv but we have been extremely disappointed with our experience. This was not a $100 purchase, it was $11,000. Doesn't matter. They just don't care. read more

Do they have good prices? Sort of. Do they have good customer service? Not even close, very unsatisfactory in fact. Bought a sauna from them and had it delivered and installed by them. It was damaged. The installers took pictures and sent them in and said someone would contact me to get this resolved. A week later no call, so I contact them. Well, they can't help me out because they want me to contact the manufacturer. It's their in-house brand NEFD Home Wellness. They don't service or fix their own stuff. I call the manufacturer, and they have no record of me purchasing the item. NEFD said they would take care of it, they won't. I would have refused delivery if I would have known that I have to call the manufacturer, arrange delivery and assemble it with the new part. Plus there are runs in the finish all over the place. BOTTOM LINE - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS. The $100 you may save isn't worth it. read more

I paid $699. and the mattress sunk down on the first day, the stitching is so terrible the ribbing digs into my leg getting out of the bed and now I'm feeling lumps. I'm not one to leave reviews but I feel compelled to leave one for this business. Purchased a hot tub 2 weeks ago(which is not that much of a savings, if any). They called, as promised, and delivered it on a timely basis. Along with the hot tub came a box of what I consider "stuff" as I've never had a hot tub before. They left without one explanation to anything. We were told that we would get a "pool school" following the installation. We've yet to hear back from anyone. We are put on hold consistently to no avail. Dustin, who sold us the hot tub, has yet to return a call. So, here we sit, with a $17,000 hot tub and thus far unusable, 4 days later. Don't be sucked in to the "savings" and the attention you get while buying, only to be left with empty promises. This place is a scam. Once they've run your credit card, you're invisible. We went during the big garage mattress sale to get a mattress and new bed for our daughter. When we made the purchase, they said it wasn't in stock so it would be ordered that day and they would call us in 10-12 weeks to deliver to our house and set up. This was in September we placed this order and the week after Christmas we still hadn't received a call. I called to find out what was going on with the order and was told it wouldn't be coming in till the end of February/beginning of March. Seriously??? I guess if you like waiting for your furniture for 6 months or more then this is the place for you, but they were not helpful at all. The best they could do was try to bump it up a few weeks to deliver near the beginning of February. We will NOT be shopping here again. The prices may be decent but the customer service is not and waiting almost six months for a mattress and bed is absurd! read more

Very tedious experience since we not only had to deal with Northeast for the cabinets, another company for the countertops, another company for the installation of the cabinets and still another plumber for connections. We had to do way too much co-ordinating. After all was supposedly done, we are still waiting for parts to complete the kitchen. Still the finish is not complete as you can see from photos. All-in-all, "a headache". The kitchen is beautiful, but not happy with all the issues. read more

Ottoman was separate and was received in the warehouse a week and a half later as promised. I had been searching for a new bathroom vanity, and was happy when I remembered that Northeast Factory Direct, that I hear advertised on 92.3FM all the time, probably carried vanities at a reasonable price. She listened very carefully to my needs and went to her computer in order to provide me with my best options. She was kind and not in the least "pushy," for which I was grateful. NORTHEAST FACTORY DIRECT REVIEW Absolutely abhorrent! Went there to check out mattresses. The first thing that struck me was how EXTREMELY CHEAP the furniture was. Now I'm not above buying cheap merchandise at times, but the cheapness of THIS merchandise was beyond belief. I ventured forth to check out the mattresses. I only needed something adequate. I found a cheap one for $199. Now I'm aware that I couldn't expect much from it at that price, especially now-a-days when mattresses have become a scamy market item across the board. I laid on it. It was nice and firm and comfortable. But I knew it wouldn't last long at that price so I was hedging about actually settling for it. So I asked the salesman, Greg, what the warranty was. When he said 5 years I said I'd buy it. It was the sole reason I bought it. The next day, after I set it up I realized that NO WHERE on the invoice or receipt did it mention ANY WARRANTY AT ALL in terms of YEARS. So I called the store and talked to Greg, the salesman. He told me he "made a mistake" (baloney) and that the warranty was only 3 YEARS! I told him that was illegal, misleading, and sharp practice. He became indignant, and said "too bad," and got me into a trick-bag by telling ME to bring it back. I told him I'd make sure the store got a bad review. End of conversation. A few minutes later he must have become afraid and capitulated and called me back.To my surprise he offered me a partial refund. So I accepted THAT as the remedy. I shouldn't have had to go through this in the FIRST PLACE. But it surely was NOT a nice smooth transaction nor a pleasant experience shopping there. AND...I STILL DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING IN WRITING PERTAINING TO THE YEARS OF ITS WARRANTY! DO NOT SHOP THERE! AVOID! In my opinion they are scam artists. read more

If you are looking for reasonable pricing and selection then Northeast may be the right choice for you. If you are looking for Customer Service and feeling good about your purchase you may want to move on. I was using the same Company for years and decided to give Northeast a try and ordered 2 bedroom dressers for my kids online. The delivery was on schedule but when they started putting everything together they realized that the drawer handles did not have any screws so I asked that they go back to the warehouse and return with the screws and complete the delivery. I got a follow up call that they would not be coming back but rather would be ordering new handles and have them shipped. Not my choice but I accepted and 1.5 weeks later I have a non functional dresser and no delivery. When I contact no one seems interested in going that extra step and get some screws from Home Depot or Lowe's (we don't have screws in our warehouse) and coming back and doing what should have been done originally. I don't think that is asking too much, if I wanted to put a dresser together myself I would have ordered from Ikea. read more
