I am a saavy shopper and incredibly picky when it comes to items that are going in my home for my family to use - that being said we are loyal NEFD customers. We have worked with Tony a few times and he's always been top notch / stellar - yup I said stellar and that is not something I throw out easily. He is customer focused, telling you the truth even if you may not like that that "truth" costs you a little more up front but for a better longer lasting product. His staff is friendly and personable as well - high marks for Heather too - super nice in person and on the phone. From a lovely Ashely sofa, to a set of dining room chairs to now a gorgeous navy leather power recliner - he will always be my first stop. Dont buy from NE Factory Direct. I never give bad reviews but please read this before you go there. Wife and I ordered full bedroom set with two nightstands and two lamps 6 weeks ago. When we purchased delivery was said to be 3 weeks. 4 weeks later they called to deliver. Ok not a problem with me because it was just a week late. I had no furniture but it was fine. They showed up and forgot a side of our bed. An entire rail was missing. Instead of finding a way to get the rail with underbed storage here promptly, I was told we must wait another 2 weeks. I was obviously upset since i have pieces of our bedroom set in my room now for two more weeks and no bed. Delivery guy showed me invoice and salesperson simply forgot to order it. A bed is a rectangle so three sides isnt gonna cut it. I get a call now that they are coming with our replacement rail....but ordered the WRONG replacement rail! It doesn't have storage and may not fit. Im sure it will be 2 more weeks and I am so disgusted by how they guy who sold this made it like it wasnt a big deal. He got me a few bucks off 2 weeks ago but once again screwed up and didnt even have balls to call me. The delivery company (who isnt them) had to call me and he cant believe it. Ahhh! What an amazing experience. we came looking for a king bed that would match our existing bedroom set and there's no shortage of inventory. We had lots to choose from! After some executive deductions we found one at an AMAZING price!! A nice gentleman got us checked Out and said our bed would be delivered Ina week and a half. The next day we get a call saying it came in and would we like an early delivery. Umm Yeah!! The bed is flawless came in original packaging. So beautiful and so inexpensive. This is my second time purchasing from Tony at Northeast. The first time we had a small bump in the road but he went above and beyond to make the situation right. We have been to other furniture stores and always leave in a bad mood because of the pushy sales people trying to get you to spend 1000's of dollars on the spot instead of letting you sleep on it. We never had this problem with Northeast both times we have bought from them. Horrible service! We had to wait and wait for someone to help us. Finally we get someone to help and re told we will have the chair in three weeks. After three weeks we call to find out where this is and are told the guy handling this is on vacation or something and we will ha e to wait to hear from him. We call back (their call system is terrible as you have to press this number or that number and eventually it rolls to someone's voicemail who never calls you back) and go through their call system and it took us forever to find out where won't chair was. It should not be this hard to purchase furniture. You need better customer service and not be condescending on the phone. We will not be back. read more

NEW EUCLID LOCATION If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. I've had the WORST EXPERIENCE as a customer. I purchased a mattress as well as a bedroom set. I spend a lot of money and I wish I had never spent a dime! Don't waste your time here! You'll HATE your experience. FIRST the delivery of the box spring and mattress and metal frame ....upon delivery the store shipped a DEFECTIVE box spring....so I called the store later and described the issue...after what seemed to be an inconvenience to the store it was finally resolved later that evening a disgruntled store associate brought a new frame and unhappily installed it... Then today my very expensive bedroom set was delivered. GREAT delivery guys (of course from another company not northeast) and they were so nice..... the delivery guys said the hardware for the bed ....so AGAIN I'm 2/2 in Detective products...Northeast Factory Direct has a perfect delivery record with me just like the Cleveland Browns! So again I call the store. I talked to Dustin Lowry, the assistant Store Manager.... Dustin tells me that maybe the Delivery Guys lost/misplace the hardware....yes the guys that are here to install things and leave on purpose took or lost the hardware so they could waste their time with me all evening... Dustin continues that because on my order paperwork that it said delivery was 2-4 weeks and since I only ordered 9 days ago it was ok... have a 90% complete Bedroom set, all except the Bed, but I guess that's not important to this Company. Dustin did say he would eventually get back to me on a date when ORDER NEW HARDWARE and have it installed.....I won't hold my breath. Dustin also gave me the option to have the delivery guys just TAKE BACK all the furthjture....great option really taking care of customers.... This Company could care less about customer satisfaction and giving the customers the products they ordered correctly and completely. If you enjoy terrible customer service and receiving damaged and defective products by all means shop here! Waited for 2 weeks for recliner, when it finally came, it was the wrong color, even though both mine and their receipts show the color I ordered. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for the correct recliner and just hope that they get it right this time. read more

Bought an entertainment center for my living room earlier this year. The piers were supposed to light up. Dealt w multiple pple to FINALLY get the plugs to light them. One is lit, other is still missing the part! Horrible follow up, they dropped the ball multiple times. Owner, Alex, won't respond to an email or call! Had I not called repeatedly I'd still have only one pier lit! FOUR MONTH issue and still no lit pier. Beyond frustrating! read more

Our salesman Greg was great however, that is not enough to get me to come back. The delivery company they have contracted to deliver the furniture is probably the worst I have EVER dealt with. First delivery of the couch & bedroom set we ordered the couch wouldn't fit through the door in our house so I had to listen to the 3 workers cuss & drop more F-bombs in my front yard because they had to put the couch back on the truck. After they were done with that they said & I quote "you're not getting your headboard because it's busted". No explanation nothing just told me to call the store & order another one (3 weeks later we got it). And the worst thing of all is that every time not only did they leave their shoes on to come into my house they refused to take them off. No coverings, no nothing so after they left I hand to clean my floors & the carpet in our bedroom. Not worth the hassle to save a few bucks. read more

We've been there twice...the first time was a few years ago to buy bedroom furniture, and then again this weekend to buy living room furniture. Both times have been great visits- we got what we needed at a great price, and the sales team was very helpful. Alex (the owner) even followed up directly with us. Even better, this past weekend we also wanted to look at patio furniture. When we didn't see something that fit with what we needed, there was no pressure from the sales guy (Matt). My experience with NE Factory Direct in Euclid was absolutely awful. I purchased a bed and dresser from them. These items arrived two weeks later in which I took off work to receive. The headboard was cracked from top to bottom. When I called the store, the girl was short with me and expected me to receive the items and "they would see if it could be repaired". I rejected the delivery except the dresser. Three separate times they said they would call me back and never did. They attempted to re-deliver three weeks later (now at 5 weeks since I placed the order) and when they arrived, they had only a headboard, not an entire bed. When I called the store, I was placed on hold for 15 min. and then got disconnected. When I called back, the girl was short with me. I called a third time and asked to speak to a manager and the guy that answered would not put me through to a manager and kept interrupting me every time I tried to speak. Then they told me they had lost the rest of my bed. I told them I wanted a full refund and was told they would not accept the dresser back. I want a dresser that is going to match a bed and since they are not providing the bed, I think it is fair to return the dresser. This is their fault, not mine. I threatened to call channel 8 news and then they said they would take the dresser back. They supposedly gave me a full refund on the furniture (although it has not yet reached my credit card) but they would not refund my $80 delivery fee. If I do not see this refund by the end of the week, I will be disputing this charge. And since they screwed this up so bad they should have refunded my $80 as well. If they were the last furniture store around, I will never shop there again. They never once tried to make this right and their whole customer service team is rude. And they are not cheaper than other places. I saw my Ashley TV stand on their floor and it was more expensive than what I paid Ashley directly. read more
