I purchased a bed back in February and the man that checked me out double charged my credit card. I immediately noticed he did that and said to him you double charged me. He said oh well I will have to send in paper work to get that removed. First off the should refund me immediately not have to send in papers to do this. Secondly it's now almost July and they have not taken that off my credit card. That is money that is not theirs and they will not give me my money back !!! I am furious with the company. Then they give me a regional managers number that is for Maryland area and I am in PA. He tells me to call back in a week, I give him several weeks to get it fixed. I call him back and he says there is nothing he can do that the store has to do it. Yet I call the store and they tell me there's nothing they can do !!! Buyers of this store beware !!!! *I emailed MW as requested and provided their information. We are waiting to hear from them. This review is on behalf of my parents, who do not use the internet. They purchased a bed that cost over 6k dollars in February 2017. The deliver service Mattress Warehouse contracts with refused to deliver their bed. On the first attempt, they refused to because there was snow on one set of steps on the property (built into a hillside). We explained that is not they steps they should/would use, they just needed to pull into the home's second drive, which is level entry to the home. They refused because that would require them to use their truck in reverse and tried to leave it in the lower lever garage. We sent them back to the store. We attempted to cancel the order that day, but Thomas, the store's manager, assured us it would be corrected. We gave lengthy directions about how to access the upper driveway. The store rescheduled the delivery. Day of the second delivery, they were given a time from the delivery service. At the time it was to be delivered, the company called and said they would not deliver because the owner (my 67 year old, 140 pound father) beat on the side of their truck and they (two 30-40 year old men who are roughly 200 pounds), felt threatened. The district manager of MW apparently backed this account and canceled the order. No such event ever occurred. My dad is a respected businessman in our community who has never been rude to anyone, because his reputation is his livelihood. He repeatedly tried to help the two delivery drivers go to the driveway - they were repeatedly rude, insisting they use a set of exterior steps to the road, that would not be safe, even in perfect weather. They have lived in the home for 40 years. Many deliveries have been made using the driveway with larger trucks.The delivery drivers were completely unreasonable and even refused to speak to the store. I called MW to let them know we feel the drivers committed libel and slander by completely inventing a story, filling out an incident report and lying to the DM (who should have done a better job investigating the issue) -- so they didn't have to deliver They could have refused ad let the job and go to another subcontractor. But they went a step beyond and lied. The store manager called back, saying they had had previous issues with these drivers , very apologetic and offered an additional discount if they picked up the bed up. They agreed. It's been TWO WEEKS and we still don't have the bed. They hear "you can get it Tuesday", then "Thursday". Today we told them to forget it. We've been billed for this bed. We cancelled the order today, so hopefully that is actually taken care of, but if it's anything like the last 4 week, it will just be more of a disaster. I would recommend everyone avoid this store. Edit to add: We contacted MW, as instructed by the comment to this review. I was told we would be called. That was Friday at 10 am. It's Monday end of business and we've heard nothing. read more

Still haven't received half of my order a week later. Now they're trying to charge me again for an item they forgot on the original delivery date and another delivery fee(which my window for delivery was 2 to 5 and didn't receive it til 9pm). They then proceeded to claim this was somehow my fault. Complete incompetence. Never again read more

I Went there to buy a mattress salesman told me he was going to give me a great deal I bought it.I got my wife wanted to see what kind of mattress I bought and went on their website and it was $300 cheaper I called them back told him I wanted a refund they said it would take two weeks Should of never gave them my money read more

We went into the store just to look and left with the deal of a lifetime! We've looked and researched for several weeks and Roger was able to create a deal we couldn't refuse. So after you look forever, go see Roger and close the deal. We are in love with our new Sterns! Delivery happened as scheduled, almost too perfect and actually early! So time was scheduled for 8-11am. They show up@ 730. As soon as my wife signed for delivery hercules brought the mattress up into the bedroom. Do your homework find what you like and when you suffer from mattress knowledge overload, have Roger settle all of your nerves with a "is this price real and fell off a truck good deal!" read more

Honestly, I wouldn't even give this business 1 star. My boyfriend and I went in looking to price out and purchase a new mattress. We were greeted by the employee working there who appeared eager to help us. Within a few minutes of our arrival, the phone rang and she excused herself to answer. She was having what was clearly a personal phone call. Initially, we didn't think much of it. She gets off the phone and proceeds to start yelling at us that protective services is being called on her and detailed about her mother being in a nursing home and being mistreated - the details of the conversation was both unsettling and disturbing, completely inappropriate for a salesperson to tell a customer. My boyfriend and I both gently attempted to show her support and get her to calm down. She was very curt and downright rude to my boyfriend. All we wanted was to purchase a mattress. While I understand that the phone call she received obviously had her rattled, she should have had enough decency and professionalism to excuse herself for a few minutes in order to collect herself rather than describe to us the state of her mothers vagina. Yes, I know you probably just laughed at that, but that's exactly what she described and we were mortified and uncomfortable. To summarize- the employee working at the store was completely unprofessional and I would strongly suggest that anyone looking for a new bed avoid this store at all costs. read more

I bought a new mattress today off of Bob Baum, and I couldn't be more pleased! I absolutely love my new Mattress! And Bob was so helpful and patient with me as I tried out just about every mattress in the store. He was very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect mattress for my lower back issues and I was able to stay well within my budget. Thank you so much for all your help Bob! read more

Update on the delivery process for my new Sealy hybrid mattress with the adjustable base frame. I received an email confirmation the night before and a phone call confirmation the next morning the delivery was right on time. They were very professional and everything went smoothly.
