It's very high quality and feels solid. My kids love it. Delivery was fast, and assembly was pretty easy. During the ordering process, I had a question and called the contact number. A man answered and thoroughly and kindly answered my questions. I even accidentally called his number again, and he saw my number pop up and called me back in case I had additional questions! That's good service, especially when I didn't leave a message. The delivery person was great as well- very nice, and wheeled the bunk bed pallet up the driveway to the inside of my garage. I was very happy with my purchase and service!

After visiting several furniture stores (Ashley's, Jordan's, etc.) to look for furniture for both of our kids' rooms, my wife and I realized that almost everything was cheap fiber board or flimsy furniture. Too often, the stuff we found in a showroom was actually pretty cheap when we looked into the details (opened the drawers, picked up a corner to look underneath, lifted the mattress, examined the hardware fittings, etc). We are a military family, so our furniture needs to last through moves every 2-3 years. We also wanted something that our kids (3 and 6) would not outgrow within a few years. We googled "solid wood furniture," and after reading some reviews (for both Kids Furniture Solutions and some other sites) decided to give KFS a try, mainly because we liked the design of the furniture options. Since I had a question about one of the sales, I called the number listed on the website. The number went through to a voicemail box, asking me to leave a message. Although usually this is a bad sign, I left a message anyway asking for some more details, not really expecting a call back. However, within about 30 minutes, I received a call back from Andrew, who cheerfully answered all of my questions. He had in-depth knowledge of how the beds were put together, and was able to really make me feel good about buying the product. A few hours later, I placed my order. Unfortunately, I immediately realized that I had mistyped my phone number on the delivery form, so I texted Andrew, asking if he could help. He immediately texted back that he was able to fix the error, and he also noticed that I had not added dresser mirrors to my order. Since I had mentioned dressers with mirrors on the phone with him, this was a great catch on his part. He helped me adjust the order, then even reached out again to confirm that it was all set and ready to go. He has also promised to reach out next week when the order is processed for delivery, just to make sure everything goes smoothly. Wow! Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway!), this is customer service and attention to detail far above anything I could have expected. I fully expect the furniture to arrive and meet (if not exceed) my expectations. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience! Thanks, Andrew--keep it up!

We were promptly greeted by a friendly saleswoman that told us to let her know if we needed any help. She pointed us in the direction of the dining sets and we started to look over their collections. We had a few questions about a couple of the sets and another salesperson came over to answer them since the lady we first saw was now with another customer. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the furniture. The set we favored came in a few different colors and could be paired with several different chairs. He gave us a printout of our favorite set with the pricing, including tax and delivery. Since this was the first store we looked in for our dining room table, we thanked him and over the next couple of weeks we went to a few other stores to compare. After we had exhausted ourselves with furniture shopping, we decided to go back to Brass & Oak to narrow down our options. The set we saw there was in our top two choices and we talked with another salesman on our return visit. He checked to make sure the table and chairs we wanted were in stock and gave us another printout with the total pricing. This time the price was cheaper because we had a coupon ($100 off a $1000) and told us that we could order the set over the phone if we decided this was the table we wanted. My husband and I went home and after talking it over, we decided to go with the table at Brass & Oak. Although this one was more expensive than our other choice at another store, the quality was much higher and we knew that this table would last longer. When my husband called to place the order, he asked the salesman if he could match the delivery price of the other store and he gladly obliged. It saved us another $20. We set up a delivery date and time for a few days later. The two delivery men showed up on time as scheduled and they were very friendly. After the table was put together, they opened it up and made sure the leaf was working correctly (it is the kind that is stored inside the table) and then they cleaned up all the boxes and left. My husband and I are highly satisfied with our table and recommend looking at Brass & Oak for furniture and great customer service!

The second one had some scratches and a few dents but I accepted it, anyway, because we were having guests over for dinner that evening. All in all, it is a sturdy set but not very good quality. The table is just over a year old and the finish is wearing off just from normal, everyday cleaning after meals with a damp cloth. I called the store and they told me they could not do anything about it because it was past the one-year warranty. One of their employees told me he would come over to look at it. The day of the appointment he called and said he had the flu and needed to reschedule. It is weeks later and still no phone call. Now I wish I had just spent a little more and bought a table and chairs from the Amish. I won't go back to Brass & Oak.

The flooring itself came in quickly and the install was scheduled. We took a vacation day from work for the installation, only to receive a text from Karly the day before saying they needed to reschedule with no explanation or apology for the late notice. Once the carpet was removed, we were told a subfloor needed to be installed. The subfloor was installed. We rescheduled the install. We specifically scheduled the install for 1:00 PM because we had earlier commitments.  The installers arrived early and immediately complained that they had been "sitting around all morning doing nothing" and asked why we didn't call for them to come sooner. There was a full unopened box and another half open box of flooring left over. While cabinets were going to be installed in part of the area, that information apparently was not relayed to Karly. However, even accounting for the cabinet area, there was clearly still too much flooring left over for such a small space. When I called Floor Concepts to see if we could return the unopen box Karly was extremely rude and insisted she personally measured everything correctly. (even though she missed the kitchen floor being higher than the room we were renovating) Talked to Sean and got nowhere with him. I later went into the store to show them a picture that the installers reused the old transition instead of installing a matching new transition. It looks terrible. Once again, Karly was extremely rude and blamed us, saying we must have installed the wrong thickness of the subfloor. That was not true. The subfloor height matched the powder room floor, which was also being replaced. Karly had personally measured the space and it was obvious even before the carpet was removed -- that the kitchen floor sat higher than the flooring being installed. I called and spoke with Sean and once again got no where with him. He told me there was nothing he could do other than offer to sell me a custom transition piece for another $200-$300. Seriously, for a 2.5' piece of wood? Shouldn't that be included in the price? At that point, I was completely done dealing with Karly's attitude and Sean's unwillingness to help with anything. While the flooring itself looks nice, except for the transition that doesn't match the customer service, communication, scheduling issues, and unwillingness to take responsibility made this a very disappointing experience overall.  I did not feel like a valued customer.  There are plenty of other places to choose from for our next flooring project.

So Mid-January ..because family member complained that she still hadn't received the couch...Jarrettsville Furniture gave them a "loner" until the couch arrived . This time frame was to be 3 more weeks. So, last night.. Ms. Angie Stiars took it upon herself to contact the customer via Facebook Messenger and threaten her because of her negative review of the furniture store. " I would be careful with bad mouthing a good business on social media" Karma will Find You". Also adding she was coming to get the "loner" couch. When asked for a refund.. Angie stated "not going to happen ". Now Angie.. mind you is an owner of this business. Does anyone want to be bullied after not receiving a $1,600.00 couch that was supposed to be here 6-8 weeks after purchase when we are nw looking at 7MONTHS !!!!!
