I always saw this place on my ride home from work but never knew how to reach it. One day it just so happened we were having a kickball game down the street. And I was early (for once) so I decided to venture to MATRESSLAND. Large warehouse filled with matresses - duh. I was greeted by a very friendly sales person, Navid. He showed me different mattresses until I found one that suited my needs and my price range. I needed something firm but not too firm, I cant do memory foam (back problems) so he recommended something in between. I knew it was the right mattress from the moment I layed down on it. Firm but not to firm, soft but not too soft. Navid was very helpful and also hooked up the delivery, I was unable to make the first date so the dispatch was able to fit me in 2 days later with a 3hr window. These guys are crooks. They sold us on their great exchange program. Try the mattress out, if you don't like it they'll exchange it within 30 days for one of equal or greater value. Sold us a $1400 mattress that ended up being terrible and when we tried to exchange it on a different mattress, we ended up having to spend an additional $800 for the right to exchange. My special lady friend and I needed a new bed. More accurately, we have needed a new bed for about three years now. But one of us is prone to wallow in morass, and he tends to drag his feet on things like that. (Confession: I'm the morass.) When we made an unusually swift decision to move to a new apartment this spring, we doubled down and went bed shopping as well. Our first call was to Mattress Land. We've been acquainted with Vaheed and the team for a while now, but hadn't bought there before. We told him what we were looking for and what our price range was. He presented us with what turned out to be a first, best option: a Stearns & Foster queen-sized bed. Obviously, Mattress Land didn't make the bed, but that first, best option has kinda changed our lives. We've slept better in the first couple of nights than we've slept in years. (Stupid morass.) Now, lining up the details of a move is always tricky. For one, we had to reserve a time for the freight elevator at the building we just moved into. We also needed to coordinate the time the movers would be using it with the time Mattress Land would deliver our new bed. We agreed to a range of times on all three counts and crossed our fingers that each detail would synch up. As it happened, the Mattress Land truck pulled up to our new building just as the movers were closing the gate of their truck to depart. I can't say whether Mattress Land did that on purpose, but it was definitely perfect timing. One last note about the Mattress Land crew: Two guys did the delivery. And they were not particularly gigantic. But each of them hoisted an element of our new bed (the box springs and the mattress, respectively) onto his back and zoomed up the elevator to complete the delivery. It was super quick. Mehdi is the guy to go to! We were pleasantly surprised with our buying experience. Mehdi helped us pick out the right mattress for us, not the most expensive and highest commission one for him. We were going to be out of town when our special order came in, so he arranged for a deferred delivery. When we got back into town, their delivery coordinator verified our information, discovered that the color of the foundation was not what we wanted, got the correct one in pronto, and arranged a no problem delivery and set up! This was my 4th mattress store on a day when I finally decided to change my mattress. I read good reviews about this store and it's staff, so I was looking forward to my experience here. I was greeted by one of the 2 folks sitting in the store (there were no customers at ~7 PM). The person asked us what we were looking for, and what budget we had in our mind. He showed us few mattresses, and finally the one, that was in our budget. I laid down on it, and felt good. I had never heard of that brand, and the price was couple of hundred dollars more than what I had in mind. Before I could say yes/no, he immediately walked over to the other corner of the shop where mattress were rolled/packed. He peeked at the lot, and immediately said, "I can ship this to your place today, I will even give you free delivery and will take your old mattress". And here, I haven't even decided if I wanted to buy that mattress. I am the king of guy, who does his thorough research on anything that he buys. So, I gently asked him, if he could give me the details of the mattress and its specifications. He asked me why do I need that, and if I like the mattress, I should simply buy it . I clearly told him, that I would like to check the reviews and check about the company etc before I make a decision. He goes "Why do you want to read reviews. You don't know what kind of people...uneducated, write reviews. They are probably not even true. I am an expert so you should just trust what I say". At that point, I said in a frustrated tone that the reason I came to his store is after reading good reviews of the store. He then made some other comment that I fail to remember. But needless to say, I almost failed humiliated by his behavior, and his utter lack of understanding/respect of my decision to do my research. My last sentence, I remember was "Well, this is where you and I differ in opinion". I then left the store, angry and surprised as to what in the world could prompt a mattress salesman to treat me like this. Anyway, I continue to shop around and probably, will visit other location of Mattressland, as I did like their collection within my budget. read more

Having searched online for a bed for months ,and,having reviewed the reviews on Yelp for every mattress business within a 40 mile radius, we finally decided on Mattress land as our first stop (and last stop as it turns out). The customer service was outstanding. Rarely, are sales oriented positions, relaxed, personal, not pushy, and extremely knowledgeable about their products. But, with Vaheem (the sales rep) it was just the opposite. He was extremely well natured, thoughtful, not pushy, and knowledge about each mattress we looked at, and tried out. In addition, he went out of his way to provide additional services (we needed our current bed relocated to bedroom #2, and a new frame). He provided both at no extra charge. The delivery was a snap. 24 hours prior to our scheduled delivery date, we were contacted with a window of time for delivery. Almost to a fault, Mattress Land delivered right on time. There was no issue swapping mattress or setting up the frame. Both were completed quickly, and, professionally. I do not have any connection with this company. My wife and I are just extremely satisfied customers and we would not hesitate recommending Mattress Land to any of our friends or family. Check out many places, and do your homework, but in the end you will be hard pressed to find a better price. Last, even if the price is slightly higher, great customer service and follow up are priceless, and this company has exhibited superb professionalism on both accounts. read more

I walked in needing help to find a mattress and luckily I was helped. Vaheed was the associates name and he showed me quite a few mattress that may interest me until I was able to decide between them. He was very knowledgeable about the mattresses and knew exactly what to find for me. Prices were great and Vaheed helped me out with a free delivery as well. I went to a couple of places and decided to buy here and so far do not regret my decision.
