I highly recommend Dr. Lampee for any dental work that you might be putting off…read more I had put off getting an implant to replace a back tooth that was removed about 25 years prior. When I began to notice that it was affecting my jaw structure, I made an appointment for a consultation. This was about a year ago when mask mandates were loosening. Dr. Lampee's staff was cautious, clean and professional. The night before the procedure, I had serious anxiety about the drilling into the jawbone, however I did not splurge for the "sleep" option. It didn't matter, I honestly did not feel any true pain, just a little discomfort that you would feel from normal dental situations. Even afterwards, there was no pain or discomfort and everything healed well and on schedule. I went back a few months later for a cleaning and everything had healed properly. Go to Dr. Lampee! And don't forget to floss!

Called his office to see if he did gum grafting for gum recession- his receptionist said he did,…read moreand made a appt. He looked at my gums, and said he didnt treat gum recession, but said that I could use some implants, etc. I told him implants need strong gum and bone, and mine isnt, and then he got really rude and condescending and acted mad that I came there. I was mad that i drove 30 miles just because receptionist was told to say yes to anything you ask if he does, just to get you in and try to sell you implants. I get nauseous when I see his tv ads- he tries very hard to seem caring, but his fakeness shines thru in how nervous he is trying to look nice.

Pros: When you call them on the phone, a real person picks…read moreup! You can schedule an appointment pretty soon, so that's good if you want an appointment right away. They're open relatively late late on Saturdays, which is more than I've seen from any other dentist so far. The people who work there are all pretty friendly. I didn't have to wait in the office long to be seen. The dentist is the one to clean your teeth, instead of a hygienist. She was fairly gentle. Cons: The waiting room has magazines but nothing for kids to play with. They gave me complimentary floss and toothpaste at the end, but no toothbrush. They did 18 X-rays on me for no good reason. Maybe this is how all dentists operate these days, but IMO it's excessive. I said I wasn't feeling any pain, so why do they need to do so many x-rays? They said they needed the x-rays in order to see if I had cavities, but after the X-rays were taken, the cleaning was done, and only after the CLEANING was I told that I have no cavities. If the X-rays would've given the answer, then why wasn't I told BEFORE the cleaning? What happened to a dentist being able to look in your mouth to check for cavities? Don't they know that x-rays are radiation and radiation causes cancer? Besides the principle of the matter, the x-ray process hurt because they stick a large hard object in your mouth to take them. At my old dentist, they would use a paper-like plastic thing that could be bent, and stuck that in my mouth to bite down on. Although the paper-like plastic thing hurt too, it wasn't as bad as this large hard object that this dental practice used.

This is one of only a few clinics in the area that accept my insurance. That being said, the reason…read morefor my visit, was because I am in pain. I have a broken molar and the roots are now upset. I called my dental insurance on May 5th, 2026 and they contacted the clinic, verified all of my information, and set today's appointment May 15th, 2026. I showed up and was asked to fill out forms, then I was asked for photo ID and my insurance card. When I inquired as to why, I was told so that they can take photo copies of them and keep them on file. I said no thank you... those are my papers and they are for "visual" inspection only, but not for them to keep copies of. I even showed them for visual verification. (The 4th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution ~ The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects). I educated the person at the front desk that spoke broken English, being careful to make sure that I went at their pace, and that I was clear in that they could visually identify, but not have copies. Apparently my answer wasn't good enough. Someone in a white coat came out also speaking broken English and not able to communicate well, reiterating that they needed my photo ID and health insurance card, that they would in fact be taking copies as it was their POLICY. When I again said no and educated said white coated individual... they told me they could not provide services without having COPIES OF MY ID's. No one told me their name, no one provided any form of escalation or de-escalation, no one at the clinic did anything but stand on policy, and they refused service to someone in pain that has already waited 10+ days. Now I have to wait even longer to get into another clinic because you CHOSE not to provide services, not because of state law, but because of your POLICY. You actively chose your policy over a patients unalienable rights. In Oregon, healthcare providers have a legal and ethical duty to provide adequate pain management, and failing to do so--or ignoring severe pain--can constitute malpractice, negligence, or patient abandonment. Having read through the reviews on Google... I should have been more cautious before scheduling an appointment at this clinic. I have filed a formal grievance with my insurance company, subsequent complaints with the Oregon Health Authority, the Oregon Dental Board, the Oregon Dental Association, and I will most likely file one with the City of Beaverton directly.
